Carpet is nasty, beds were terrible. Room was hot, no elevator, no top sheet.check in lady was busy tending bar, and did not return to answer question.

Important to know the rooms are above a bar and restaurant which was not in the description at time of booking. Nightlife went on with live music every night - does not quiet down till 2:30 pm. If your looking guy a quiet relaxing room this is not the place to stay. If you’re looking to be part of the nightlife till early am then this is the place for you. Street parking. Room was clean and comfortable. Gave a 2 due to the noise we were not anticipating.

Great central location above Foley’s Pub. Clean updated room and bathroom. But be aware it is above a pub with a band that plays in the evening, so if you are not a heavy sleeper, or only plan to sleep after the band finishes, this may not be the place for you.

Foleys Hotel was a busy pub and restaurant, with accommodation on first and second floors. A few flights of stairs to both floors. Popular place for dinner and live music. Food was good and breakfast also good. Music can be heard from your room until late, so keep windows closed. Street parking easy. Nice staff.

Le Foley's Kenmare est un très bon choix. J'y ai logé deux nuits pour explorer le Ring of Kerry. La chambre est confortable et la salle d'eau correcte. L'emplacement en plein cœur du centre-ville est idéal. Les chambres sont sur deux étages, juste au-dessus du pub/restaurant animé : vous entendrez forcément un peu de bruit... mais c'est justement l'ambiance qu'on vient chercher en Irlande ! Et au moins, vous êtes directement sur place pour profiter d'une bonne soirée à l'irlandaise. Pas de parking disponible sur place, mais la ville dispose de plusieurs parkings gratuits à proximité de l'hôtel (3-4 minutes de marche à peine, voir le site internet) : en ce mois d'octobre, les places n'y manquaient pas. Petit-déjeuner très qualitatif, avec plusieurs options disponibles. Le personnel est charmant. Je reviendrai sans hésiter au Foley's Kenmare !

Este hotel fue la perfecta parada de una noche en nuestro viaje. Se encuentra arriba de un bar, el personal es muy muy amable! La zona es de restaurantes, bares y aunque no tiene estacionamiento privado, nos pudimos estacionar justo enfrente en la calle de manera gratuita y segura! Lo recomiendo mucho!!

Este hotel fue la perfecta parada de una noche en nuestro viaje. Se encuentra arriba de un bar, el personal es muy muy amable! La zona es de restaurantes, bares y aunque no tiene estacionamiento privado, nos pudimos estacionar justo enfrente en la calle de manera gratuita y segura! Lo recomiendo mucho!!

Would not recommend this property for older visitors Firstly there is minimal on street parking close by Secondly there are steep stairs to access rooms Thirdly the pub has live music till 1 am. Even after pub doors closed revellers were outside our room overlooking street till after 2 am Patrick the manager was extremely understanding and allowed us to cancel the second /third nights booked We ended up in Kenmare the weekend of Ironman , not a choice we knew about We moved to The Ashe hotel in Tralee which was a great choice . Both Kenmare and Killarney are extremely busy towns

My first time in Kenmare. The town was great and it was a good call to stay here as opposed to the more touristy town of Killarney. Easy access to the Ring of Kerry, good restaurant and bar at the hotel, live music and rooms were clean. The next time I'm in the area I would stay in this town and this hotel.

Room was comfortable enough (although smelled slightly musty) and the washroom was small but newly renovated. The only real drawback to this place is the noise level. Even though we were on the 2nd floor, the live music on the ground floor below was still clearly audible until midnight each night. We could also hear music from the other bars, through the closed windows. This is not an issue if you plan to stay up late but bring ear plugs if you wish to sleep before midnight.

reception was very friendly and welcoming. Room was clean and comfortable. Bathroom was very clean and modern. Good shower. Breakfast was so so. Fair rate.

Great place to stay. Very friendly staff abd great atmosphere. Food was delicious with a good range of choices. Great base for travelling around to see the wonderful sights. Room was spotless. Will definitely visit again.

Great location, Kenmare is charming, lots of food and drink options...room super clean, but we found the bed to be too hard and no amenities such as shampoo, lotion, tissues or conditioner..those would be welcome additions.

Our 3 night stay allowed us to explore the Ring of Kerry, the Ring of Berra then over to Baltimore. The staff and accommodations were updated and clean. There are stairs to climb but good as the breakfast and pub fare was tasty. Cappuccino was niice to have at no extra cost. The pubs and dinning choices were plentiful. Beef Wellington and Brisket at Mulcahys was fantastic. Kenmare and Foleys was a lovely stay.

The hotel is in the heart of the action of Kenmare. Our room was on the third floor so we definitely got our exercise going up and down the stairs. The stairs are steep so if you have mobility issues make sure you get a room on the second floor (but you will still need to do about 20 steps). We needed to keep the windows open due the warm temperatures, there is lots of road and bar noise but it normally didn’t bother us. If the windows would have been closed we would have heard less. Staff was very polite and friendly. Breakfast was good!

The Hotel was in the middle of Kenmare which was nice. The room itself was very small and 2 people could barely move around. It seemd like it was a single room sold as a double. Well used and not very inviting. Would never recommend it. Yours sincerely

Hotel room fine. Bed comfortable. Shower great. From an adjacent building which presumably does exercise classes on morning 1 there was loud drum and base music keeping me awake from 05.45. On morning 2 it started at 02.45. They really need to get this sorted as the constant stop and start of a bass beat is a worst case scenario. My noise cancelling headphones did not help.

Service in bar and restaurant not good. Staff continued to speak to either each other or ignored us. Food only ok, nothing to write home about. Gap in bedroom door when closed, music loud. Overall we would NOT go back there.

While we had a minor issue upon check-in, it was remedied quickly. The host was very friendly and helpful. While I looked forward to the room over the inn, The substituted lodging exceeded our original accommodations. I would recommend including breakfast, while the food was same venue as the hotels, it was served fresh and hot. I would not have any issues staying there again. Thank you.

I am a regular visitor to Kenmare and Foley’s. The welcome, staff hospitality, friendliness and care has not diminished in the 20 odd years my wife and I have stayed with Patrick, his family and the team. Looking forward to the next visit.

The hotel is in the heart of the action of Kenmare. Our room was on the third floor so we definitely got our exercise going up and down the stairs. The stairs are steep so if you have mobility issues make sure you get a room on the second floor (but you will still need to do about 20 steps). We needed to keep the windows open due the warm temperatures, there is lots of road and bar noise but it normally didn’t bother us. If the windows would have been closed we would have heard less. Staff was very polite and friendly. Breakfast was good!

Le Foley's Kenmare est un très bon choix. J'y ai logé deux nuits pour explorer le Ring of Kerry. La chambre est confortable et la salle d'eau correcte. L'emplacement en plein cœur du centre-ville est idéal. Les chambres sont sur deux étages, juste au-dessus du pub/restaurant animé : vous entendrez forcément un peu de bruit... mais c'est justement l'ambiance qu'on vient chercher en Irlande ! Et au moins, vous êtes directement sur place pour profiter d'une bonne soirée à l'irlandaise. Pas de parking disponible sur place, mais la ville dispose de plusieurs parkings gratuits à proximité de l'hôtel (3-4 minutes de marche à peine, voir le site internet) : en ce mois d'octobre, les places n'y manquaient pas. Petit-déjeuner très qualitatif, avec plusieurs options disponibles. Le personnel est charmant. Je reviendrai sans hésiter au Foley's Kenmare !

My first time in Kenmare. The town was great and it was a good call to stay here as opposed to the more touristy town of Killarney. Easy access to the Ring of Kerry, good restaurant and bar at the hotel, live music and rooms were clean. The next time I'm in the area I would stay in this town and this hotel.

Good breakfast. Rooms were nice. Expedia says they have laundry facilities but they don’t. They’re mystified as to why Expedia says they do have laundry facilities.

Foley‘s in convenient if you are looking to walk around Kenmare and enjoy all the town sights. But we did not like the scent our room - with clearly visible air fresheners. It was overwhelming and not enjoyable and made us wonder what scent was being covered up. Breakfast was included and our party agreed the food was abundant but not particular tasty. We would pass on a repeat visit.

Foleys Hotel was a busy pub and restaurant, with accommodation on first and second floors. A few flights of stairs to both floors. Popular place for dinner and live music. Food was good and breakfast also good. Music can be heard from your room until late, so keep windows closed. Street parking easy. Nice staff.

Chouette hotel en plein centre au-dessus d'un bar restaurant. Repas et petit dejeuner excellents, mais le lieu est forcément bruyant jusqu'à 23h30. Des boules quies sont à prevoir.

Great place to stay. Very friendly staff abd great atmosphere. Food was delicious with a good range of choices. Great base for travelling around to see the wonderful sights. Room was spotless. Will definitely visit again.

Service in bar and restaurant not good. Staff continued to speak to either each other or ignored us. Food only ok, nothing to write home about. Gap in bedroom door when closed, music loud. Overall we would NOT go back there.

Comfy bed with good pillows. Simple room but clean. No ac but had a fan in the room for airflow. Music from downstairs might bother some people, but we enjoyed it. Fantastic location but parking was not great; we recommend parking across the street from the church for free.

Great location and, for the season, reasonably priced. All fine until, at 6:20 am I was awoken by crashing and cacophonous noise of a guy moving beer kegs, right outside my window, at the rear of the property. It’s great providing entertainment till late in the evening but being disturbed, unnecessarily at that time…not acceptable. Why did the kegs have to be loaded and moved around at that hour. I went and checked and there was no delivery or collection, just a guy working alone. The hotel staff were completely unsympathetic and the suggestion of a complimentary breakfast was waved away. Disappointing

Nice room above the very popular bar. Easy to park outside. Friendly staff and a great breakfast. Really nice, thriving small town with lots of shops and restaurants. Ideal location for doing the Ring of Kerry.
