It was great fort the need- we were just there for one night after getting off a cruise ship. The top patio was fun! They are just across the street from the beach and have chairs and towels and umbrellas and other beach stuff for you to use for free♥️

It is an amazing no frills beach hotel. It has a roof top patio with beach chairs, lounges and tables. While it would have been nice if the bar on the roof was set up, the desk has some alcohol for purchase. The hotel offers free beach chairs, coolers and boogie boards for guest use. They just have to be returned by 7 p.m. There is a small refrigerator in your room so you can buy groceries. There is only a microwave but good for quick meals. Overall a great place that is across the street from the beach! Definitely would stay again.

The Snooze Hotel is a hidden treasure in the best location on the Ft Lauderdale Beach strip. You park and that's it. You can walk or ride golf cart taxi service everywhere. Matt the hotel manager and the rest of the staff are friendly and always helpful to the fullest extent. Free use of beach chairs and towels. Awesome sundeck overlooking the beach. Basic but wonderful place to stay.

Matt was very accommodating with holding our luggage until our room was ready. This allowed us to enjoy the beach and have lunch. There are towels, chairs and other beach stuff to borrow free of charge. Matt texted to advise our room was done early. Again very accommodating! The building was dated but the room was clean. Such a great value being just across the beach. Wonderful restaurant right next store too!

Great area! Major hotel brands just down the street in both directions. Plenty of dining options, including Casablanca cafe 10 steps to the right, and Starbucks to the left about a block. Across the street from the beautiful Fort Lauderdale beach. *Remember to call in advance to reserve a parking spot. Parking fee is way below the going rate (thank you!) No big SUV’s allowed (fit). Manager Matt is very personable and helpful. Rooms are clean and bed was comfortable. AC worked great!

This place was great. It is right across the street from the beach. Restaurants and shops are within walkable distance. They have a great rooftop to enjoy the views of the beach. The 2 king bed room was fantastic. The room was very quiet. Highly recommend.

Perfect location. Super cute. Loved the rooftop. Parking is small and difficult but does not at all take away from the great location and view. First time to Ft Lauderdale and not at all disappointed with choosing the Snooze. Would def go back. Love that they also had beach chairs etc that could be borrowed at no cost. If you’re thinking of trying it you will not be disappointed.

This place really has it all. I would definately stay there again. No pool, but the ocean is right there! An ideal spot. Its a small place, but I suspect its been there forever... most likely one of the first ones on the strip.

I only gave this stay a few extra starts because the housekeeper and front desk were very kind. It has a spectacular view of the ocean and you can watch sunset/sunrise, walk along the shore. Fabulous location, easy walk to many dining options. With that being said this hotel is gross and filthy, outdated, and in dire need of improvements. The linen is thread-bare, our extra pillows for fold out couch were stored in a box with broken bottom so they were just laying on the floor! Mold on every window, no fan or clothing/ towel hooks in bathroom, door to bathroom did not shut, no additional security bolts on main door. We were told to help our selves to pool Towels out back, however there was only one. Furniture in room is disgusting, dilapidated, with an assortment of stains. Some electrical outlets do not work. The absolute number one most repulsive thing was the curtain, I’m not sure if they found it in a road side dumpster or under a dead body? I paid $200 for an ocean view, I did in fact get a beautiful view. I could have had that on a park bench for free.

Great location, our floors were sticky like the cleaning agent hadn’t been removed. We put towels down to walk around. May have been due to the dampness, which there was an exhaust in the bathroom or something. Great staff as well.

We came early as our cruise ship,was early in port. Nick kindly allowed us to check in as soon as our room was ready. The hotel is very clean, built in a other era, but we were delighted to be here for the night. The housekeeping staff do an excellent job cleaning the rooms.

Had a lovely one night stay here at the snooze hotel. We stayed in room 301 which is the oceanfront 400 sq.ft room. We loved the room and the view. The bed was very comfy and the room was spotless. Matt the general manager was helpful and since the room was ready we checked in an hour earlier. We will certainly be back for a bit longer stay next time. Don’t hesitate since it’s a smaller hotel we had no regrets.

This is a small hotel on the beach that has retained its charm. We were in the smallest accommodation which is basic but had a microwave and bar frig and a double dresser and large TV. There was also a safe. The shower was fine and the water not and plentiful. The location is unbeatable with the beach across the street. There are also two sitting, lounging areas one on the second floor over the entrance accessible anytime and the second on the rooftop closing by 7 pm. There is a small elevator to the rooms but we mainly used the stairs. There are 6 rooms on each of floor 2/3/4. We felt safe and secure in this location and there is limited parking right at the hotel for 10$ per day. There are some beach amenities such as chairs and towels. There are restaurants and bars close by. The larger rooms I believe have a table and some food prep areas. Book early!

Fantastic location. Older building but clean. Added perk, they provide beach towels, beach chairs, coolers and a few inflatables. We used the towels and chairs. Did have one minor issue, during our 4 day, we were always in our room when the cleaning staff came. So our room was never cleaned, we were just able to grab clean towels from them. They never returned. Front desk staff was awesome.

The unit I stayed at was spacious and had a beautiful ocean view. The proximity to the beach was unbeatable. The host was very welcoming , check in was easy and parking was just downstairs and 10dollars. The only caveat was the hotel was a bit outdated and I had someone accidentally used their key card to access into my room when I was there. Perhaps the hotel would consider upgrading their lock system to code instead. Anyway, I had a great time staying there !

I found the bed and pillows quite uncomfortable and so much ambient light came in the windows at night it was difficult to sleep. Also there was loud construction next door starting at 7 or 8 am every day except for one. The guy who checked me in was lacking in any sort of personality, almost robot like. It was a ridiculous amount of money...$1255.00 for three nights for the beyond mediocre quality of this hotel.

Amazing location right on the beach. Room was very spacious and clean. We enjoyed the 5th floor terrace. Service was great too and we were explained all the rules in detail. Easy check in. The manager Nick was very nice and helpful. Directly across from the beach. Tons to do around you. Good restaurants arounds. Room was neat and clean, had everything we needed in it. Would stay here again!

We had an INCREDIBLE stay at Snooze! When we first checked in we met Matt who was so helpful the whole trip, he gave us great suggestions and was always on call when we needed him! In the office he had free beach chairs and offered towels, beach toys, and sunscreen - which was so helpful since we flew in from out of town and couldn’t bring a lot with us. The room was so cute and beachy, and very clean! Snooze was right across from the beach and within walking distance to so many great restaurants and bars, it was convenient and made it such a nice stay! We will absolutely be back to stay with Matt and the gang at Snooze again!!!

Location, location, location. The hotel is simple with "reception" 9am - 7pm. Service friendly when they are present. If you have a late check in you will get a code and key but make sure you contact the hotel upfront and tell them you arrive late. Parking is also available on the premises. I can recommend Snooze, but you might have to arrive with somewhat lowered standards, it is a 3 star hotel after all. I have stayed at this hotel during FLIBS and the location is perfect, walking distanse from the show. I hope they will upgrade the shower by my next visit, I could not for the life of me manage to have a warm shower. Other than that, I was very satisfied with my second stay at Snooze.

Wonderful as always. Our go to when ever in the area. Can’t be price, location, and accommodations. Accommodated need for early check in and upgraded us in the process. General manager was terrific as was all of the staff. Excellent breakfast right next door at Casablanca Cafe. Walkable to a variety of eateries. Can beat the views and comfort of the rooftop lounging.

Snooze is a smaller hotel but the GM does a great job. The hotel is clean, in a great location - convenient to the beach and great restaurants. The GM, Matt, is very kind, explains everything in detail and is very accommodating. This was an amazing find for my wife and I. We would happily stay again if we are back in the Ft Lauderdale area and highly recommend Snooze Hotel to others.

We had a great stay and were totally wowed. I wish the pressure in the shower was better, but if that’s my only complaint, it’s a win. Price was good. Staff was fantastic. We mentioned the water issue the next day and are kicking ourselves bc they would have fixed it right away I’m sure.

This hotel is the reason I started my trip in Fort Lauderdale. I wanted to love it, and the "regular" rooms may be great. Under no circumstances should the bunk room be chosen. I thought the size was fine for two nights, however understand if there are any shower drainage or air conditioning issues, the small space quickly turns into a slippery mess. The door opens directly to the parking lot, allowing for any people walking by bang on your door. I had that, as well as other hotel guests, looking for assistance when No one on staff picked up the after hours phone (this hotel is staffed from 9am-7pm). I changed hotels after one sleepless night. The GM issued a refund, no apology, and an implication that it was my fault for booking the small room. Proper ventilation and security should apply to any room. I do not consider this unit safe for a solo traveler, though that is what is suggested for.

The staff was super friendly surprising. How clean and modern the unit was. That gave me a early Check-in free of charge. My flight landed early came in from Phoenix for a few days due to relocating to Florida. The front desk guy was very informat is and I will most definitely recommend it and stay when I come back.Thank you very much

Snooze is a really fun and cute hotel. It is right across from the beach and if you have an ocean view room, the view is amazing! It is an older property, so the outside does shows its age a little, but the room we had was updated, clean, and great. The property person Matt was also very nice and helpful. Even though we stayed during spring break, our stay was lovely. We hope to stay there again!

The Snooze Hotel is a hidden treasure in the best location on the Ft Lauderdale Beach strip. You park and that's it. You can walk or ride golf cart taxi service everywhere. Matt the hotel manager and the rest of the staff are friendly and always helpful to the fullest extent. Free use of beach chairs and towels. Awesome sundeck overlooking the beach. Basic but wonderful place to stay.

We stayed in the 4th floor ocean view room. Phenomenal view. Plenty of space in the room. Bed was comfortable. Location is perfect. Across the street is the beach. Plenty of bars and restaurants within walking distance. S3 was our favorite Happy Hour. Hotel staff is great. Hotel provided beach chairs, towels, sunscreen, etc. Parking spots available (the smaller the car, the better). Would stay here again for sure

This place was great. It is right across the street from the beach. Restaurants and shops are within walkable distance. They have a great rooftop to enjoy the views of the beach. The 2 king bed room was fantastic. The room was very quiet. Highly recommend.

Extremely clean, plenty of towels and toiletries, kitchenette and 2 king beds, prime location and the manager Matt it's not only very pleasant but extremely helpful. Definitely recommend. No frills meaning there's no concierge or valet or restaurant within the hotel, but right next door is a wonderful restaurant and across is the Westin Hotel that has a Starbucks all within walking distance directly across from the beach prime location for Fort Lauderdale Beach

This hotel is so cute and boutique. We stayed at a Hampton Inn in town with family for a bridal shower downtown…then my daughter and I decided to stay an extra night near the beach after everyone else traveled home, so we booked Snooze. We loved our room better than the chain hotel! So cute, beachy, original, boutique type hotel. Matt at the front office was awesome! So nice, informative, & funny! They even have beach chairs, beach towels, sunscreen, boogie boards, noodles, all can be used at no charge. Bed was comfortable, room was clean, huge fridge, microwave, coffee maker, etc. We will stay here again when in Ft Lauderdale.

This is a cool, cozy hotel, throwback to a bygone era only four floors High while much more giant hotels surrounding it. The standard king room probably works for one or two days while you are waiting to get on a cruise ship, but my stay was extended, and fortunately, I was able to upgrade to a larger space for only 30 extra dollars a night and I highly recommended. It’s double the size went from 220 sq ft to 450. There are some water, toys, beach, toys, beach, chairs, towels available. Parking is pretty tight so if you have a larger vehicle like I had rented, jeep grand Cherokee, it was a little treacherous, but it’s only $10 a night. There are spots in the room definitely showing their age since it’s an older hotel, Matt the guy at the front desk was very helpful. Be advised there is no pool here, there is a very nice rooftop deck for sunning and looking out to the ocean, otherwise you are headed to the beach 50 Across the street from you. The café next-door called Casablanca is quite good and highly recommended sitting outside to people watch and look at the ocean.

Great area! Major hotel brands just down the street in both directions. Plenty of dining options, including Casablanca cafe 10 steps to the right, and Starbucks to the left about a block. Across the street from the beautiful Fort Lauderdale beach. *Remember to call in advance to reserve a parking spot. Parking fee is way below the going rate (thank you!) No big SUV’s allowed (fit). Manager Matt is very personable and helpful. Rooms are clean and bed was comfortable. AC worked great!

This is a small hotel on the beach that has retained its charm. We were in the smallest accommodation which is basic but had a microwave and bar frig and a double dresser and large TV. There was also a safe. The shower was fine and the water not and plentiful. The location is unbeatable with the beach across the street. There are also two sitting, lounging areas one on the second floor over the entrance accessible anytime and the second on the rooftop closing by 7 pm. There is a small elevator to the rooms but we mainly used the stairs. There are 6 rooms on each of floor 2/3/4. We felt safe and secure in this location and there is limited parking right at the hotel for 10$ per day. There are some beach amenities such as chairs and towels. There are restaurants and bars close by. The larger rooms I believe have a table and some food prep areas. Book early!

If you are looking for a cheap and easy spot right across from the beach, this is a great place! Nothing spectacular, very basic, and a bit dated, but for the price, definitely worth it. Staff was extremely kind, and I loved the location!

Spacious rooms, very clean, great rooftop Terrace, parking is cheap and it’s right across the beach. The owner genuinely cares and makes it a point to speak to you and help if needed. Highly recommend!! Only downside is there is no pool.

Electrical outlets are somewhat limited. Furniture was wobbly and unstable. Location offered limited dining options -- well, limited affordable dining options, especially for families. PLUSES: Staff was helpful in resolving a couple of issues; they also allowed me to check in a bit early. Oceanfront suite with kitchenette was huge. Property has multiple patios open to guests for socializing. Location is steps from the beach and offered amazing views. OVERALL: If you're looking for the Four Seasons, the Westin or The Ritz-Carlton, this ain't the place for you -- but they're a block or two away. If you, like me, want an affordable motel room for a short beach visit, this IS the place for you.

Having access to chairs towels and sunblock was a huge bonus on top of pool floats and noodles so I really did appreciate having that as an option so we didn't have to add that to our luggage. The staff are super helpful and always try to answer any questions. The parking lot is a little tricky, but other than that it is a great stay for a short trip.
