Fantastic country house, staff cannot do enough for you and the location and grounds are so good. It is blessed with 3 wonderful restaurants. We will definitely return

This is a unique and very beautiful group of building, the most helpful staff, extremely well run, with excellent restaurant facilities.

Loved this relaxing hotel. Such a friendly welcome after a long journey. Loved the cottages and the space, as well as the open fire and private patio. Good food offering from three restaurants on site, as well as room service. Charming !

Booked to stay here for 2 nights after reading the reviews and we are so glad we did. From the moment we checked in and being greeted in the lounge with a drink and then being escorted to our room was such a nice touch. The grounds are beautiful and we wished we could have just stayed here for the 2 days and relaxed but we had plans in Knysna and Plettenberg. We had dinner in Zinzi and thoroughly enjoyed it and the breakfast was very good. The best thing about Hunters is their staff though. I wish I had made a note of all the names but Golli who greeted us was so lovely as was Ace when we had drinks by the firepit. Our breakfast waitress was amazing too but I did not get her name. We will definitely be back as loved the place.
