The hotel has been maintained quite well. However no elevator only stairs to second floor. I can’t do stairs and didn’t realize the room I chose was on the second floor. They did move us to the first floor. The room and bed were great but I could not get in the tub and needed a walk in shower. When I reserved the room I mentioned that I had mobility issues and needed access. No one hot back to me to discuss the options.

for the price the gym was not open it’s completely closed and the rooms were small. the breakfast was not nutritious there were no vegetables, almost everything was sugary however overall it was clean and customer service is great and friendly.

There was NO ELEVATOR and you had to pay extra for a first floor room!! I would not expect that I'd have to check if there was an elevator!! My husband doesn't do stairs well due to an injury so we were very unhappy that accessibility isn't provided.

Clean,right beside the centeniat park which is beautiful.within walking to restaurants, and lots of biking trails. Only down fall is there is no elevators to upper floor. Staff is very helpful in carrying your things up the stairs.

Staff member at front desk was helpful getting our bags to the 2nd floor, and getting us new room key cards when we needed them. But, it would have been nice to have an elevator to the 2nd floor. Internet service was extremely slow in the morning. There were no seats available for breakfast, so I took our breakfast back to our rooms.

We had to use the same towels for the 2 days we there and no one came in to clean the room or remove the garbage. They advertise a gym, but unfortunately besides the tv. None of the exercise equipment was working. It was nice that breakfast was included in the rate charged.

The lady at the front desk was exceptionally friendly and helpful, but that was the only positive thing about this place. We walked into our room on the second floor and immediately found eight cockroaches in the window and ceiling. They gave us another room but we were so grossed out that we will never stay there again.

Window extremely dirty, dead bug on bed, another very visible on the wall, lipstick lip print on bedside lampshade, other lampshades dirty, some kind of large smear mark on wall - in general whole room seemed dirty, toilet rocked back and forth / poorly maintained.

Nice area along water. Very quiet and barely heard anything from other rooms and it was busy. bed was comfortable. Clean with the exception of the shower needs some serious cleaning, mold and mildew was an issue, and the tracks for the shower door really need to be cleaned so you dont have to fight with open and closing of shower door. All in all a pretty good stay.

We were greeted with a smile and a friendly hello upon arriving at the front desk. Everything was done quickly and efficiently. Our room was a reasonable size and very clean. The bed was in excellent condition and we got a good nights sleep. The shower was perfect and we had no issues with the running of it or not enough hot water. The flushing of the toilet seemed to run for awhile but it did eventually stop. The amenities provided for the shower area was really good. Three pumping bottles were provided for a body cleansing, shampoo and a conditioner as well as a bar of soap. A blower dryer was provided along with an iron/ironing board in case that was something you needed. All in all a 10 out of 10 rating from us Also want to mention that the complimentary breakfast was excellent and I did mention that to the lady that looked after everything in the kitchen and eating area. Very,very clean area! Keep up the excellent service to everyone at Days Inn 😊

Very Outdated. Reviews said otherwise but not the case. Old rooms, No Water pressure. Very old A/C units making tons of noise. Room is old and outdated. Water pressure was the worst out of any hotel I have stayed in. It could be a decent spot, but that is years from now. It was cheap, but I know other spots down the road would have been worth the small price difference.

It's located on the Sarnia harbour, by a park and walking trail. The complimentary breakfast was good. Our room was attractive and the beds were comfortable. The tv and wifi worked well. There is a nice restaurant next door. My only complaint is that the floor wasn't very clean. It needs to be swept or vacuumed more thoroughly, including in corners and under the edges of the furniture.

Check in and out was easy/friendly. Rooms could have been cleaner. Breakfast was an absolute disaster. Insanely long line up. Only one staff worker on site for that. Gives the impression management doesn’t care about overworking and stressing out the employees. I felt absolutely terrible for her. I probably won’t stay at a Days Inn again.

Unfortunately the management had no sympathy for our situation. We accidently booked 2 rooms. I don't know how that happened but it was legitimately a mistake. I explained this to the staff but they said there is nothing they could do as they were non-refundable bookings on Expedia. I did not take the room keys for the 2nd room and they could have easily given the room to the couple behind us who did not have a reservation, but instead they decided to keep my money. I had Expedia reach out to hotel management, but they continued to refuse a refund. So the hotel tried to blame it on Expedia and Expedia blames it on the hotel, I'm not sure who to believe. But either way obviously frustrated that the hotel kept my money for a room I did not use.

Terrible check in …room had outside door. Staff did not provide direction to the room. When we found the door we could not enter because of the security lock. Apparently initial access is from the interior. We were not told about this access point. When I asked, the answer was …I forgot. No apology. The breakfast was good and the staff very friendly in the breakfast room

Night desk clerk was rude and unhelpful. Was asking for an upstairs room due to feeling unsafe being on the main level. Clerk laughed in my face and told me because we had walked into our room she would have to get the cleaners to clean the floor and it would be “ too much work”. I pointed to my clean tennis shoes and asked her to clarify her comment. We will not be back or have anyone we know stay there. Very disappointing for the price we paid. Room was old. Bed was soft and uncomfortable. Breakfast was the highlight of our stay. They had eggs, sausage, waffles, lots of variety.

The front desk, actually all the staff, were both friendly and professional. Parking couldn't have been more convenient. The complimentary breakfast offered a great variety. Our hotel room didn't disappoint and far surpassed our expectations. For those who like to walk, there's a beautiful park across the street. We will definitely stay there again when visiting Sarnia.

All in all a 10 out of 10 rating from us Also want to mention that the complimentary breakfast was excellent and I did mention that to the lady that looked after everything in the kitchen and eating area. This hotel is in a great location close to the waterfront, restaurants and downtown Sarnia. You won’t get anything extra in your room like bottled water, coffee cream or body lotion but if you go in knowing this as I’ve stayed many times it’s still good. While not luxurious, it is affordable and quiet.

Check in and out was easy/friendly. Rooms could have been cleaner. Breakfast was an absolute disaster. Insanely long line up. Only one staff worker on site for that. Gives the impression management doesn’t care about overworking and stressing out the employees. I felt absolutely terrible for her. I probably won’t stay at a Days Inn again.

We were greeted with a smile and a friendly hello upon arriving at the front desk. Everything was done quickly and efficiently. Our room was a reasonable size and very clean. The bed was in excellent condition and we got a good nights sleep. The shower was perfect and we had no issues with the running of it or not enough hot water. The flushing of the toilet seemed to run for awhile but it did eventually stop. The amenities provided for the shower area was really good. Three pumping bottles were provided for a body cleansing, shampoo and a conditioner as well as a bar of soap. A blower dryer was provided along with an iron/ironing board in case that was something you needed. We stayed at Days Inn in Sarnia one night in mid-May 2026. The hotel is nice and it looks well maintained. One knock down is that if your room is on the first floor (like ours) you must pass by the laundry room and utility room, which is not very welcoming... The room was clean and comfortable. It had a door leading outside, where there were some picnic tables with a view towards the harbor, which was nice. Staff was all right I guess, didn't have much interaction, check in, check out, that was it. There is free parking, and breakfast is included. Breakfast is adequate, not great. There's an Irish pub next door. Location is not that great, it's bit isolated, you'd need to drive to go downtown. All in all a good place to stay the night.

We were looking for a room to travel from Niagara Falls to Mackinac Island which was about 3 hours away. We probably should have stayed on the USA side where there were better options. This was a motel version. There were heavy rains two nights prior so I understand the water in the room and when I asked for towels to put by the A/C with water on the floor I was provided some old rags with holes. The window was cracked all the way down that should have been replaced. It did not look like a new crack. The breakfast was ok - was nice to have a little something. The back door of the room went to a parking area (motel type) which was nice to have the car right there but the light came in through the door at night (not sealed well). This place needs to improve their maintenance of the facility. It was ok for one night but I wasn't comfortable.
