New Town Studio With Patio

This unit is in a gorgeous, historical building and has loads of potential. 'Beautiful' is a stretch though. It's definitely cute & cozy, but tired. It could use a refresh and attention to detail in cleaning is needed. (We used to clean professionally, & cleanliness is important to us). I wiped 'something' off the couch, and the baseboards in the main room are dirty. The shower needs a good scrub around the bottom & so does the bathroom floor. The sheets were clean & crisp and the kitchen is adequate for short stays. 4 keys for 4 doors was a bit confusing, and we weren't sure where to go once we entered the main door. A bit more detail on that would be helpful. Mention of all the stone steps is important as it's not suitable for people with mobility issues.The garden area looks nice, but there were no chairs available to sit outside. ** We had a few minor issues that I needed to contact the host about. She was very polite and extremely helpful. Having a good host is a big part of having a stress-free stay and we really appreciate how easy she was to deal with.** By Canadian standards, I would rate this unit 3.5 stars. (I rented it from Canada) For those choosing to stay in this unit, you will definitely enjoy having a helpful host.

Great place to stay. Perfect location

Overall we had a very nice stay. Everywhere seems easy to walk to. There were good amenities in the apartment. We were surprised that there was no welcome pack of a small carton of milk etc.and after long flights it’s good to have tea or coffee. I didn’t sufficiently take note that the apartment is down two spiral flights of stone steps and is quite an effort with luggage. There is a washing machine but no powder. Salt and pepper and sugar were not available. Just small things but could make the visit a bit easier and more convenient.

This is a lovely apartment to stay in, it has everything you need and is quite spacious! The only flaw is there is no lift so you have to take two flights of stairs down, which is difficult with large luggage. Good location, close to a lot of tourist attractions (10-15min walk on a slight incline) but peaceful area (if a bit dark at night).
