SpringHill Suites by Marriott Boston Logan Airport Revere Beach

I enjoyed staying with Springhill Suites. Although it didn’t feel like Marriott standards, the staff was exceptional and it was the best free breakfast I’ve ever had. When we walked into our room, a spot in the carpet, directly in front of the fridge was very wet. Our feet was getting soak, you can hear squishy sounds. In the beginning, I thought it was us but the next morning, the soaked spot grew in size. We asked for a change of room, and they immediately moved us. The pool needs a little more TLC in my opinion. The water is slightly green and cold, the ambiance quite depressing. Hotel also is far from convenience stores with the closest one charging a premium for products. This however is offset by very close distance to a train station and free pickup and dropoff to the airport. I did go with an expectation of a 3-star hotel as stated but I think overall was a decent experience.

Property was great. Parking was a problem

Even though I only spent one night at this property, it was very clean, absolutely beautiful in all areas, our room was very nice and very clean, no complaints at all. your front desk staff, your housekeeping, your restaurant people, everybody was exceptional And made me feel welcome. But, the only complaint I have is that only one elevator was working so I spent a lot of time waiting to get on it and get to my floor or down where I was going. I would be waiting for the elevator and watch it go by the floor I was on and not stop numerous times and at one point me and my five year-old granddaughter got on it to go from lobby to the fifth floor And we literally went by the fifth floor three times before it stopped there. A couple times I did use the stairs which happened to be at the whole other end of the hallways from my room but walking up five flights of stairs with bad knees don’t work. But all in all I would definitely recommend this Marriott property just be prepared to wait for elevators.

I stayed at this hotel before and now this property is on the wrong track. During my stay the pool had cold water so kids couldn’t play in it and then stopped working entirely for 3 days. The elevator broke and one elevator would not make it to 6th floor at all. This made moving out fun… nothing like breaking your back moving giant bags down from the 6th floor. The rooms are also not cleaned every day, more like every third day and you have to call for fresh towels. Lastly, the free breakfasts have zero variety. It is the same plate of eggs and sausages and old bananas. Waffle machine opens only on weekends… more sad faces from the kids. For the price of the hotel, I really expected a lot more.

One of the two elevators was down. Only 1 staircase accessed the lobby area.

There were no towels or a hairdryer provided in the room, so I had to contact the front desk to request them. We stayed for two nights, and although the pool was advertised as heated, it appeared to be out of order and was too cold to use.

Elevator was down Friday evening at check in. We had to use the stairs or the service elevator.

The staff went above and beyond making a room available for early check in which was much appreciated. The beach was located right across the street. Shuttle service was fast and friendly.

I signed up to use there shuttle service that runs from 4am-11pm. Had a 6am flight so put in for a 4am shuttle, the driver never showed up. 15 minutes goes by and the front desk says they’ll find me a ride. Another 10 minutes goes by and I tell them to forget it and get a Lyft to the airport. Don’t advertise that you offer a service if you aren’t going to be able to provide that service. Absolutely terrible experience.

Great location which is right at the beach and the subway station, the building and room looks clean and spacious, pretty good free breakfast. Parking fee is $15/day. Only one elevator is working so sometimes it has a long waiting time. The sofa bed in the room was broken and they cannot fix.

Beautiful hotel, well maintained and always smelled very nice.

The bathroom had mould in base board of the shower. The baseboard was peeling off.

Upon entering the room, there was an unpleasant odor reminiscent of unflushed waste. We discovered that someone had forgotten to flush, and despite our attempts, the toilet was not functioning. We were moved to another room, but the towels and bed sheets were stained. This is not my first stay at this hotel, but this experience was unacceptable.

The hotel was okay. This hotel had no working air or fans and the windows wouldn’t open. The floor had someone’s old food so I don’t think it was cleaned well. Other than those things the hotel Was alright for one night and bed was comfortable

Very clean and nice hotel. There is a subway stop right beside it which makes it so easy to go to downtown. Pool was quite clean. Different hot breakfast everyday.

Way overpriced for the experience. Room was not clean, carpet had several large stains and was a little sticky in some areas. It was disappointing.

The property is very modern. We enjoyed the free breakfast in the morning. I loved having a Starbucks and a restaurant on the premises. The food at Mission Beach House was excellent. A great location to enjoy the beach. For the bad, the pool was slimy. It looked okay, but with clumps of hair wrapping around my nephew's arm, objects at the bottom of the pool, and the fact that the pool water was grimy, we did not stay long. Our room had no shampoo, conditioner, or body wash. We contacted them to bring it up, but they did not deliver the body wash. Our shower was dirty. The first person in our group went to shower, and hair was in the drain and all over the wall. Our AC would turn on, but would eventually shut off. I had to keep getting up in the middle of the night to turn the AC back on.

Room had a musty smell

This was not the worst place we've stayed but not the best. Our family of 5 booked an Ocean View suite with two queen beds and a sofa. We were able to check in early which was nice but the bathroom had not been fully stocked, there was no hand soap, or tissues, and they only provided 3 towels even though we booked for 5 people. Location is perfect, steps away from the Blue line we were able to take the train from the airport no issues, also steps from Revere Beach. Noise was an issue. Bathroom doors are sliding doors and we could hear the neighboring rooms doors slamming every time someone used the bathroom. Also loud music every night from neighboring restaurants until at least 11pm. The indoor pool was completely gross. mildew on the walls, cloudy water, and sand in the pool from post beach goers. The gym was nice and had a bottle filler which we utilized. Room cleaning was every other day and they never filled the shampoo, conditioner, or shower gel. we ran out of conditioner and shower gel and had to request more on a day after they had cleaned. Also had to request additional towels constantly. But the response was swift and they did deliver to the room every time we called. The free breakfast was okay, scrambled eggs and sausage most days, waffles only on the weekend, and typical pastries, cereal, etc. Nothing fancy. Breakfast was always swamped, the staff looked frazzled trying to keep up and items ran out consistently. Overall stay was fine for the price.

Very little pressure in shower heads, our air conditioner didn't work for 2 nights so we had to switch rooms. Good beds, pillows, plenty of room and the views of the ocean were wonderful. Restaurant inside the hotel was awesome as well, continental breakfast was above-average. Easy access to subway, overall a positive experience

View from bar was beautiful. However the pull out sofa was awful. Linens that were provided for pull out were shabby.

The room was great. The only thing I did not like was that there was no shelf in the shower for shampoo/etc. Had to put it on the floor of the shower. Easy for me, but for an older person, having a shelf in the shower would have been more convenient. Otherwise, loved everything about the room. I did not have breakfast, but I did here it was not great.

I booked the King suite with an ocean view and it was stunning! I woke up to a beautiful sunrise and planes flying back. It was soundproofed so you couldn’t hear any noise. The room was very big and clean. I enjoyed having my name displayed on the TV when I arrived. In the morning, there was complimentary standard breakfast, with the stunning dining hall overlooking the ocean. I was only there 1 night but my fiance and I are already planning a stay for the summer. Always love Marriott, it’s worth spending the extra money instead of Hilton or Holiday inn.

A new hotel but the windows and shades are poorly designed if you are a light sleeper. In the two-bed plus sofa sleeper suite, the bathroom has a huge glass inset in the door — frosted but so lightly that while there is privacy, anytime someone is in the bathroom bright light covers both beds. And on the 3rd floor, the music from the restaurant / bar is quite loud. The layout and space are fine but the design details make the experience of the room much less pleasant than the pictures would suggest.

Walls are very thin

The only good thing about this place was its vicinity to the subway and the beach. The restaurant was amazing too. Our stay at the hotel was awful!! The first night we checked in they told us there was a glitch in the system and they didn’t have the room we booked available but would have it the next night. Fine things happen, but the next morning no communication had been given to the next crew but they said the would take care of it and checked us out and said the right room would be available when we got back from town. We got back and went to get re checked in and that crew had no clue what we were talking about and we were never checked out of our old room. After a half hour they finally got us a room. Go up to our room which had a great view of the ocean but right above the restaurant so it was super noisy! The ppl next to us were blaring music till late in the night and for three mornings in a row we got woken up at 4am by the person upstairs doing I have no idea what but sounded like a chair being scraped crossed a tile floor for 40min to an hour. We were here for our anniversary and I had high hopes after the reviews but was very let down.

This place was pretty expensive to have the noise transfer that it does, you can hear the people over head and every door opening and closing through the whole hallway. It had a few room maintenance issues, a short continental breakfast window (6:30 to 9:30) . It was pretty though. Nice staff.

Hotel was just okay, was definitely clean but a lot of things were broken or just didn’t work in our room. The bathroom door lock didn’t work at all nor did the door shut completely. Luckily none of us staying in the room were shy with each other. The shower door also didn't stay closed which ended with a flood all over the floor. We tried a bunch of stuff and just couldn’t get it to stay shut, we settled for laying towels out on the ground. Some drawers were completely missing doors and just wide open. We had no privacy tag for the door or any extra toilet paper besides the few sheets left on the roll we walked in to, front desk provided both upon request. The best part was probably the location, having the T behind the hotel and the beach right in front was awesome. I definitely recommend parking at wonderland station instead of under the hotel, was half priced. Overall it was clean, the bed was nice and was a decent place to rest at night. The flaws definitely didn’t ruin our trip but I don’t think we’d stay again.

This was the absolute best hotel stay we’ve ever had! The front staff ladies, Sarah and Elizabeth, were both so welcoming and kind! When we first arrived, our rooms weren’t ready yet, but Sarah made sure the housekeeping staff prioritized our rooms first so that we could check in (we had a party of 11 and I booked two rooms) and also ensured they were connecting. The hotel was clean and tidy! We promptly received extra towels, toiletries and turn down service when requested. The ocean view from the rooms is breathtaking and the easy access of the exclusive walkway ramp going straight from the hotel to the beach was so convenient! The inhouse bar/restaurant was always poppin at night and the menu was so good at a reasonable price. The complimentary breakfast in the morning was just the cherry on top. We absolutely loved our 4 day stay and will definitely return! Sarah is the most kind and thoughtful person ever and never made me feel like I was a nuisance when I asked 20 million questions. I’ve read the reviews that complained of the daily parking fees or pricing of the hotel itself but on the contrary- when visiting such a touristy area, their parking fee and hotel rates are actually really reasonable. Considering all the other areas we visited and different beaches around town- parking rates as high as $50 for a couple hours- $15 per day at this hotel is not bad at all! We’ll definitely be coming back and thanks for making our short family vacation so enjoyable!

The front desk staff were horrible, super slow and not helpful at all. Manager did not help us after 35 minutes waiting for our 2 rooms to be adjacent. Only one person at the front desk with very much 7 people trying to check in and out. The staff in the restaurant were a lot more friendly and helpful than the front desk. Most of the lights in one of our room didn’t work.

The front desk staff and restaurant staff were all very friendly and helpful. This was my second time staying at this location and I will definitely stay again. Love the beach views, easy transportation options, and the wonderful staff!

There were boogers on the wallnin bathroom, elevator issues, front desk staff using derogatory words when we came back at lole 11pm... th "N" word

Reserved and paid for a room with the ocean view. Came to the hotel at 3pm check-in time only to learn that they don't have my room. No help from the staff. Very unprofessional

I liked the view of the ocean, and proximity to the beach! I thought the restaurant was ok, but a little pricey.. What I didn’t like-Upon check-in on the late shift, the gentleman behind the desk had no clue what he was doing.. said he was going to put a 50 dollar hold against my card for incidentals, and some how, charged my card $730 dollars, which actually took 8 days to be refunded!! Pretty much ruined our trip!! After his mistake, I had 4 charges from my bank, for overdraft fees, which cost me another 140 dollars.. Lisa, the general manager, was very sweet, and tried very hard to fix things, but her hands were tied on what she could do.. But she was a bright spot for the hotel..

I couldn’t wait to write a review for this hotel. I will say I will never stay at this hotel ever again. We showed up to an unprofessional group of employees. They argued and fought behind the front desk. One time I walked up and a girl was on her phone between the front desk and the back room. It took her a couple minutes to realize I was there. We needed more towels and 3 hrs later got towels at our door with an upset employee like we were putting him out. Like he had something better to do. The way they treated us was horrible. Traveling with 4 children we needed the pull out sofa bed. Our first room it was totally destroyed and wouldn’t pull out. They put us in another room which we were glad for. Another big issue with the room was the layout. They split the room long ways so we had no walk ways between the beds and the bathroom. The bathroom door was a big roller door that didn’t latch and was frosted glass so anyone using the bathroom at night woke everyone up because it lit up the whole room. I personally used the lobby bathroom because there was no privacy using the room bathroom. Everyone heard everything!! lol. Speaking of the lobby bathroom…… most 7-11 bathrooms were nicer than the lobby. Hand towel dispenser was half way torn off the wall. There were times there wasn’t any toilet paper. Definitely a failure. It seemed everywhere we looked there was something broken, didn’t work, just a horrible experience. If I could write more about this experience I would.

You cannot beat the location of this property. The subway is behind the hotel, the beach is across the street, Starbucks off the lobby and the restaurant Dryft-Revere was the best food we ate while in Boston. Made a point to end one of our days early so we could eat a second time. There is also a convenience store around the corner to pick up snacks. The staff were very accommodating and helpful. Don’t deny housekeeping. We normally do but if you go to the beach at all you will want it. I would suggest finding a way to allow guests to get the sand off their feet when they come in from the beach but I understand then you would just have a wet lobby instead of a sandy one. The negatives were manageable. One of the elevators isn’t working properly but once you figure it out, it’s fine. The breakfast is your typical continental breakfast, nothing special. When we came in from the airport, we planned to use the shuttle. Took me probably 10 minutes to get someone to answer the phone at the front desk to arrange the shuttle and then the driver was obviously behind and in a rush with the way he drove and the phone call we over heard from the hotel staff about another transport. Lastly, the room was not my favorite. It is a new property so there isn’t anything to be done but the bathroom runs parallel to the beds and the sliding door to the bathroom is that frosted glass therefore when someone goes to the restroom in the middle of the night, the light is bright in the room.

The staff is not very friendly, we feel like numbers. We were answered but nothing more. There were four of us in the room, when we arrived, no blankets for the sofa bed and towels for only 2. When they redid the room, they only changed two towels but not the others. No towels two times out of three at the pool and more than an hour before getting some. The location is great, a step from the metro and a step from the beach.

First time staying here and will definitely be back! Great location, across from the ocean and right next to the T. Beautiful, comfortable, clean hotel. Quiet rooms. Excellent restaurant with excellent food and excellent service. Front desk staff is top notch. $15 parking. Just an overall wonderful experience!

Great place right next to the subway.

This spot is beautiful close to the beach and has an access way directly from hotel same thing for the train station just underneath which brings you right to downtown Boston. Absolutely amazing hotel!

This property is in a great location right across from the ocean. There are lots of things to do around the area. It is also right on the blue line and takes minutes to get into Boston.

Love this place. Stayed here twice and loved it both times. The location couldn't possibly be more convenient with respect to public transit and it's right on the beach. This is the only hotel I will stay at when I go to Boston!

We were in Revere Beach for one night. We had spent two nights in Salem and were looking to be closer to the airport for our flight out. We also wanted to see Boston North End. This hotel was perfect as it is right in front of Wonderland Station. It’s also right across from the beach. It was cold on this trip but it was still nice to see. The staff was friendly and helpful, the pool was nice and the restaurant and bar was hopping the whole time, even though we ate in Boston on the North End. Rooms were large and clean. Comfy beds! Would definitely recommend if you’re looking for something in the area with easy access to Boston.

Love this hotel! Our 4th time staying here this past year. Clean, quiet, comfortable, spacious rooms, ocean views, fantastic restaurant, Starbucks, and the Blue Line is right in back of the hotel! Absolutely perfect place to stay when visiting Boston!

The front desk staff were friendly and addressed all of our concerns. I really appreciate them specifically Jacob and X. The breakfast staff were horrible. They were so rude and ruined our experience. I asked them a fork 5 mins after the breakfast hour was over, and they rejected my request.

Overall the property was great. Room was clean. Check in and out was easy. Even though I had to pay to park I thought it was pretty cheap. I don’t know if we had any neighbors to our room but I never even heard anyone in the hall. So the room seemed sound proof. One downside to this place was breakfast. Not sure how everything was because I barely got to have a bagel with what looked like a round patty of egg. Breakfast is way too short. It’s over at 9 and I was there at 8:40. A barely got a waffle out of the iron and the girl came and closed it down. There were so many people coming for breakfast and they were cleaning it up. I spoke with another guest and he said he was there the day before and they started cleaning up at 8:25. I’ve been in hotels that will go make more food just before breakfast is over because there were guests wanting it. Would love to know their reason for this. Good thing there was a farmers market happening across the street

My check in experience was less than favorable, but the room was clean and nice. Location of hotel is good, we took the T train and it is RIGHT behind the hotel- ultra convenient. Having a full Starbucks in the lobby was also a plus. We had dinner at Fine Line next door and it was 10/10. The breakfast buffet at the hotel is pretty bad, would not bother waking up for it.
