Free Breakfast was good, hot and clean!! Parking was easy and convenient. Lobby very nice. Standard room was clean but industrial, Not at all warm and cozy

Hotel was undergoing renovations and smelled of some type of adhesive/ construction material (could be triggering for someone with asthma) Heating/cooling unit in the room was very noisy. Otherwise adequate. Staff was friendly.

The pool was large and attractive. The lobby is unusually beautiful with twin circular staircases leading to the second floor gallery that is lovely.

This is a beautiful property, great pool and good breakfast. We were allowed to checkin at noon when we arrived early. It’s not far from Florence entertainment. I will stay again.

When booking we did not know the hotel was under construction. We had travelled over night and wanted to rest once checked in. We saw construction signs in the lobby.. once in the room, we seemed to be right under the construction as the walls were shaking. When we went to the manager to see what could be done (we desperately needed sleep) she just said sorry and that it would be done in a few hours. They wouldn’t move us to a room further (said fully booked) nor offer any compensation for the inability to sleep. She seemed to take the request personally as she seemed agitated. I asked how long the construction had gone on, and she confirmed it had been underway for over a month. We booked 2 weeks after it had started and there was no communication on their website. When I mentioned this, the manager said “well we have signs around the hotel” I asked if she was aware that people booking online and states away won’t see the paper signs? She said she can’t control the website. Mind you, I looked at both the website and hotels.com because I was looking at rates. I have worked in the hotel business for years prior and understand some things are out of our control, however the lack of communication on the site and empathy from the manager left a bad taste and overshadowed the beauty of the hotel. I attempted to email the owners to give them a chance to make it right, but no response. Until the construction is done, if you want any peace before night, don’t book.

The lobby was a nice place to sit and converse with a friend with comfortable chairs and couches all around. The room was spacious and clean. Highly recommend.

Convenient location right across the street from the Alabama Hall of Fame. Beautiful lobby. Full breakfast. Patio with fire pit and seasonal pool. Would stay here again.

Clean room

The hotel was unique and close to being excellent. There is construction going on, but we were up and gone by 930 or so and it did not affect us. The decorations were interesting, but definitely made it stand out a bit from similar hotels. The only negative was that the floor in our room was dirty and very sticky in one spot otherwise it was nice.

Interesting decor but it works. Beds are comfy! Hotel and room has a strong smell of old lady perfume! Our bathroom wasn't the cleanest and a bunch of ceiling debris on the chair in corner. Only 1 garbage can in room and no phone to call the front desk. I called the number on their sheet and no one ever answered.

We had no ice bucket for our room. When I asked for one at the front desk, I was told every room has one and they don't have extras. The TV in our room didn't work, we tried new batteries for the remote, that didn't work. There was only one trash can in our room. No trash can in the bathroom. The bathroom was not very clean. We bought a soda which we paid for at the front desk. They wouldn't give us a receipt. The people at the front desk do not seem like they want be here. It is like they have given up on the place, which is a shame because it is a very pretty hotel.

While the lobby had air freshener smells, the third floor where I was smelled of foul odor consisting of bad body odor and sewage. This was so bad that I checked out 2 days early.

Property was very dated withpeeling wallpaper and rust on metal in bathroom. Towel was ripped on one side. Found bug climbing up wall in showerslong with dirty caulking

The property was beautiful and the bed was comfortable. People at the front desk were not overly friendly, but they were not rude either. The shower was lukewarm, not hot, no matter what time I tried to shower. I will definitely stay here again if I'm in the area.

Another good stay at this hotel. Breakfast was good, beds were comfortable and room was affordable. Only thing that could be improved is if hot water temp could be raised. Shower was warm, but not hot.

Historic looking hotel, with modern flair. Spacious sitting areas in the main hotel lobby area, rooms are good size. Beds are comfortable, good water pressure. Wish our room had a fridge, but we didn't ask about it. They offered a breakfast, but our stay didn't allow us to check it out. Nice alternative to the other commercial brands!

Nice, clean hotel with some southern charm. The only issue we had was no mini fridge in the rooms. I really couldn't believe that when we arrived. Bed was comfy and everything else was clean and functional. Breakfast was standard faire but had lots of options and was clean and kept stocked. Overall a nice night stay.

No refrigerator or microwave in room. No housekeeping! I would not recommend ColdWater Inn. They need to update their policy on line.

TV system wasn’t working.

Bed, bedding and pillows were all very comfortable. Room was clean. Breakfast was your typical hotel buffet breakfast. It was right along the highway and nothing fancy for sure. There was such a strong odor of Clorox or some sort of cleaning material when you enter, which was very offputting. Our main issue was that the walls were so thin. You could hear everything going on in the rooms on either side. Wish I had brought some earplugs. The consolation was that the price was pretty reasonable.

In not impressed with the water pressure or the hot water

It's very quiet location and clean. But, the TV is not very clear, and front desk doesn't answer the call from the room. ????

Made reservation through hotels.com...got email...your reservation is confirmed, no need to call.....myself and friends arrived, to hear"we dont do 3rd party reservations "...they called another hotel ...they arranged rooms there for us and others as i learned later that evening....this hotel was less money and Coldwater paid for mine and my friends rooms....if they dont take 3rd party reservations....WHY DID THEY PAY FOR OUR ROOMS!!!??? THEY OWE US MONEY!!!

No one at front desk when we arrived. Had to wait 10+ minutes for someone to show. No real coffee in room, just decaf. Only mirror outside bathroom hung in corner blocked by desk and virtually unusable. Third stay, first disappointments.

Great staff and room.

I stay here every chance I get because it is quiet and safe!! The staff are always courteous and helpful.

Property is beautifully maintained & convenient to all the area attractions. Will definitely stay again next time we visit this area.

The hotel.is just outside of Muscle Shoals. It is a cozy hotel. Muscle Shoals is a nice little town with a lot of music history.

This was a very nice hotel, with clean comfortable rooms and a beautiful lobby. The buffet breakfast was wonderful with plenty of hot and cold options. The quality and value was much more than I expected for the price we paid.

Hotel was okay, and while the lobby was exquisite, the room left a lot to be desired. It was a basic room, clean, but rather bare with not much in it. 1-ONLY ONE LUGGAGE CART AVAILABLE IN ENTIRE HOTEL 2-PILL (MEDICATION) FOUND ON FLOOR IN BATHROOM 3-NO PHONE IN ROOM OR PHONE BOOK, or BIBLE 4- NO CLOCK IN ROOM 5-BROKEN LAMP- had to be plugged & unplugged to use. 6-BEDS TOO HIGH TO GET ON - The beds were so tall that we had to bring a step stool in, that we happened to have in our vehicle, to use to climb into bed. Being elderly, my 82 year-old mother had a hard time with this. 7- TRASH CAN WAS PUSHED SO FAR BACK UNDER COUNTER IT WAS IMPOSSIBLE TO USE 8- TOILET WOULD NOT FLUSH- The toilet would not flush properly so paper remained in it constantly. Even when we were able to flush it, soon the paper would float back up. 9- NO MICROWAVE- although there was a refrigerator 10- BLOW DRYER WAS NASTY & OLD The blow dryer was nasty looking so I opted to not use it. 11- EXTRAS - The room did have samples of shampoo/conditioner/lotion & soaps. Other than info about the hotel (ice, snacks etc.), there was no info about community, such as how to order delivery of food, what to do, etc. 12- TOWELS- Were massive & hard to maneuver & we were only given two so we had to have more brought to the room. They did bring them graciously though. 13- TUB - was slippery and water pressure in shower was very low 14- HOT BREAKFAST was skimpy & COLD. Sausage was undercooked.

Beautiful hotel and rooms, clean facilities, and good breakfast! Very reasonable prices, and very very reasonable pet fee.

The hotel was very clean and updated. No carpets in the rooms which I prefer. If I stay a second time, I would bypass the breakfast. Eggs were powdered. Coffee and juice watered down. However, very nice place to stay.

Grand entrance inside the lobby and the double staired 2nd floor lounge area. Guest rooms are also spacious with full door closet. Breakfast options are very limited.
