The room was charming, clean, and very comfortable. Staff could not have been friendlier or more helpful. They went above and beyond! Owner Leah helped guide us to reach Museum Hill on foot via a nearby arroyo, which was a great experience! The lovely heated pool was also open (the last weekend of the year) which we utilized twice while staying there. Also...the two of the three nights we were at the Inn, we ate at Pecos Trail Cafe, which is EXCELLENT in both food and service. We will definitely stay at Pecos Trail Inn again when passing through & visiting Santa Fe.

This property was spotless. It has a park right behind it with a great walking trail to walk your dog. Staff was very friendly. Rooms are very spacious and decorated super cute. Bed very comfortable! We will definitely stay here again on our road.Trips from Missouri to california.

It is a one story motel outside the busy downtown, but with easy quick access by car. The rooms are spacious with openable windows and I heard coyotes in the night. A very good restaurant and popular restaurant is right across the parking lot. The motel’s pool opened for the season while we were there and it looked clean and well maintained though we didn’t use it.

Adorable hidden gem. When I pulled into the pot hole filled parking lot & saw the half working neon sign, I had my doubts. But those items are easily overlooked after you get your room. Was overly greeted by the self proclaimed “Roger the over caffeinated lodger” when I arrived. Feels like this place caters to an older crowd since he felt the need to explain how the heater works & many other 20th century marvels within the room. My single room with 2 double beds was perfectly clean, had extra space for storage & was charmingly decorated with retro tile & unique Santa Fe themed art. Nestled in a lovely upper middle class neighborhood, there is a nice park just beyond the property. Perfect for traveling with pets. The restaurant next door was authentic & seemed to have a lot of local businesses on a Wednesday night. Quiet area, convenient to I-25, will definitely stay here again as I travel from Phoenix to Denver on the regular. Smallish bathroom but maybe the bigger rooms have other configurations? Loved the actual key on a fob with the room number! Sorry I only have pics from the restaurant.

Very clean & comfortable place to stay the night & friendly people as well. Everyone we met on the property was wonderful and friendly. Felt very safe there and quiet. Piping hot bathwater & comfy bed. Classic New Mexican feel with the adobe & tile, just a really nice place to stay at a reasonable rate. I hope to be back!

A very nice place to rest our heads. The room was spotless. The bed was extremely comfortable. The water pressure and temperature in the shower was perfect. We especially liked the location— extremely quiet at night, but just a short, pleasant drive to the Plaza.

The rooms of the hotel were very nice. The parking lot is a disaster. Staff was very friendly. They only clean every few days for multi-day stays. A lot of hotels do that now, but they need to go back to cleaning (at least emptying the trash and such) every day. Also, the sign was not well lit up at night, but this I think is a "Santa Fe" problem rather than a hotel problem because I noticed a lack of signage throughout the vast majority of town. We had a handicapped accessible room which had a great roll in shower. However, there was no table in the room to eat at or, if you wanted to do work on your computer, work at. There was a night stand and a console table for the coffee maker. Also a fridge and microwave. Again, the room itself was pretty nice. There was also a very nice looking pool area with huge trumpet vines around it, which the hummingbirds loved. But boy that parking lot...

The owners were wonderful communicators, and welcomed us kindly to drop our bags early as we weren't going to be officially checking in until late that night. They even gave us a key in advance even though our room wasn't ready. And, they provided thoughtful recommendations for our short stay. Unfortunately, we had less than 24 hours at this sweet motel that has been thoughtfully updated. My only two complaints are that the pillows were lumpy and the shades didn't keep out the bright NM sun. Switching out the pillows and putting curtains up would have made this stay a 10/10.

This is the second time I have stayed at this property. We were equally as pleased with our stay this time around. This motel is very clean. The beds are comfortable. The room has a lot of character. This room had a small kitchen which would be great for an extended stay. I highly recommend this place. It is very competitively priced.

Our room was recently renovated and very charming with the southwestern decor. It was very clean, had a comfortable bed and convenient to downtown Santa Fe. Very cool history of motel along the historic Route 66. Glad I read reviews as I wouldn’t have chosen based on roadside appeal…don’t let that fool you!

A traditional roadside motel with a very large room. The bathroom area is small with really nowhere to put toiletries; however the room itself was quite spacious. The staff at the Pecos Trail Inn are exceptional in their attentiveness to their guests. The onsite restaurant was very convenient.

We really liked this spot! It was pretty basic, but for the price point the room was really cute and confortable. The only thing we missed were table and chairs (I think we were in room 120) but the owners seem like really nice people who are constantly working to improve the place. It’s definitely been decorated tastefully, and the beds are super nice quality. It was also right next door to a park with which our dog was extremely convenient. Would stay here again.

The room was very cute and creatively decorated. Staff was very hospitable and accommodated our late check in--even with a treat for our dog! We didn’t visit the pool because we had the pup with us and couldn't leave her in the room, but it looked very well maintained. Great booking!

We loved our room and enjoyed walking our yorkies in the park and nearby neighborhood. We liked the food at the restaurant next to the property. Above all we loved meeting the owners and Roger at the desk. They were all so kind and helpful and extended our stay after our truck broke down in our parking spot. Also they are nice and pet friendly and had special treats for our picky little dogs that they gobbled up EVERYONE

The Pecos Trail Inn is our new favorite Santa Fe lodging! The rooms are so spacious, clean, and the beds! Oh, the beds are so comfy! We enjoyed some time swimming at the pool with the kids (swim towels provided). We were greeted by Daniel who was so friendly and accommodating! He noticed that we were in a king room and were planning on having the kids sleep on mats on the floor, so graciously offered to move us to a double room. The hospitality and easy vibe makes it a must when staying in Santa Fe! We will for sure be coming back!

The ambiance of the Pecos Trail Inn is incredible. Everybody I encountered that was working there was incredibly nice and supportive. We would highly recommend the Pecos Trail Inn to anybody who is staying in Santa Fe. It is also close to the hospital where we were going quite a bit.

This property was spotless. It has a park right behind it with a great walking trail to walk your dog. Staff was very friendly. Rooms are very spacious and decorated super cute. Bed very comfortable! We will definitely stay here again on our road.Trips from Missouri to california.

This is a kitschy little gem of a place. It’s on the outskirts of the town proper, but you can get to everything in minutes. The pool area is gorgeous and peaceful. I loved the flowers hanging over the fencing and was greeted by hummingbirds and butterflies on the daily. Actually, the whole property area was quiet and peaceful. The staff I interacted with were super friendly. (Sorry, I’m awful with names.) The hubs is already talking about the next trip back and wants to stay here again.

The room was charming, clean, and very comfortable. Staff could not have been friendlier or more helpful. They went above and beyond! Owner Leah helped guide us to reach Museum Hill on foot via a nearby arroyo, which was a great experience! The lovely heated pool was also open (the last weekend of the year) which we utilized twice while staying there. Also...the two of the three nights we were at the Inn, we ate at Pecos Trail Cafe, which is EXCELLENT in both food and service. We will definitely stay at Pecos Trail Inn again when passing through & visiting Santa Fe.

From Roger at the check in, to the beautifully appointed room, pecos trail inn is a not to miss property. Dog friendly and close to a park(right next door) . We loved our stay as part of our Route 66 nostalgia tour , pe os trail inn is a winner. And the adjacent restaurant! Outstanding food complete with a mariachi band! Wow!

This place is a find if you are looking for good value and comfort. My room was clean, the bed was great, and it was quiet and safe. It is not in the midst of downtown, but it's still a pretty convenient location. One of the best aspects was the restaurant which had great food, lovely staff, and the night I was there, a great local band. It was so fun to see the local folks out singing along on a Friday night. Plus, this place is a bargain!

This is our second time staying at Pecos Trail Inn. We loved it so much the first time that we wanted to come back! This hotel makes us feel like locals, not just tourists visiting Santa Fe. The staff is friendly and very responsive. The rooms are updated, clean, and decorated in the Santa Fe style. The restaurant is great! We didn't try it until our second visit, but we wish we had gone sooner. The food is genuinely New Mexican.

Absolutely loved this place. Met by a friendly gentleman behind the counter. I was a little worried driving to the room because the parking lot is in need of repair (good news, they are going to do so next year) but when we opened the door to our room, we were very impressed. A remodeled room with a king size bed, a kitchenette, large TV, wonderful decor, beautifully appointed bathroom, small dining table and one comfy chair. The only thing that was a concern was the rug on top of the tile. My wife and I slipped twice but never fell. I informed the front desk about the issue. They also had a beautiful pool but it closed the day before, its was 56 when we arrived in mid-October. Another plus is a restaurant on Property called Pecos Trail Cafe with a full bar serving very good New Mexican style Mexican food. We went for dinner and again for breakfast the next day. (They only serve breakfast on Fridays and Saturdays).

This is a very well maintained classic motor lodge with great southwestern charm. The room was comfortable and well furnished. The beds/mattresses were really excellent. Next door across the parking area was a very good Mexican restaurant. It was a very pleasant night on the road.

We wanted to avoid the cookie cutter chain hotels and got what we expected. This is an old school quaint motel. Parking right in front of your door. Rooms had been remodeled and were clean and updated. The staff were excellent and helped us with recommendations on food and parking. No free breakfast and no big screen TV but that’s not what we booked this one for. Would absolutely stay here again.

The rooms and decor were beautifully southwestern themed. The bathrooms were beautifully remodeled. The beds were comfortable. The bonus was the delicious restaurant located right on site, with great margaritas and New Mexican food.

From check in to check out this hotel does not disappoint. The staff is very friendly and provides you with useful information of the area. The rooms are spacious , beautifully decorated and bed is very very comfortable. Setting is quiet but close to downtown plaza.
