The hotel looks good on the internet but falls way short of expectations in reality. Our room was tired and quite basic with poor furnishings. The worst part is that parking is around the corner in a public car park. At a cost of 25 Euros per day. This isn’t mentioned on the booking site. Certainly wouldn’t go back.

Everything was great. Situated right next to the Cathedral in center. Parking was a problem but there was a garage close. Roof bar was great overlooking the Cathedral and square lots of great restaurants nearby.

Lovely hotel, in the centre of Almeria. Rooftop bar, restaurant and a small pool. Restaurant food was delicious and the service is lovely! Highly recommended.

Grand room, very well cleaned although maintainance could be improved - for example tile replacement handiwork leaves a lot to be desired. Very large and comfortable bed. Small in room fridge was great. Good quality pod coffee machine in the room, but I've never been charged for in room coffee in a 4 star hotel before. Breakfast was good but no option to book with room, so had to pay €12 pp per day, about 80% of buffet/menu items were available. Staff friendly and polite. Lovely building, fantastic location. Stayed in Feb 2026, as with most things in the city during off peak season, availability and opening hours varied without notice. The hotel is in a great location and has some lovely facilities, such as the roof top bar and pool, cool bar downstairs and restaurant. We had a junior suite in the original part of the building, the condition of the room for the cost was disappointing. The toilet wasnt attached to the wall so when sat on it banged, not good in the middle of the night, the paint was peeling off the bathroom ceiling, and overall it was tired. The shower was powerful and clean. For the price of the room having to pay for even a small bottle of water or a hot drink in room we felt was cheeky! The staff were great and very friendly.

Ualmindeligt velbeliggende hotel. Med mulighed for parkering lige i nærheden - (17euros for 1 nat). Hotellet er rigtig pænt og personalet er meget venlige. Vi savnede kaffe på værelset (fik kun te) og morgenmaden var ret kedelig - omeletten overbagt - tør. Værelset stort og rummeligt med glasdør der kunne åbnes til lille meget trist baggård. Ingen vinduer derudover. Men alt i alt et rigtig godt sted.

Nos tocó la procesión de la virgen al llegar, por lo que no había muchos restaurantes abiertos, el hotel nos salvó, con una excelente atención y comida muy rica en almuerzo y cena La habitación estaba sucia, baño y paredes manchadas con humedad y nos dieron habitación con 2 camas, pero reservamos habitación superior, mal ahí El estacionamiento estaba a dos cuadras, aceptable

Mycket fint hotel ,stort härligt rum på andra våningen med utsikt över Katedralen och torget framför. Lite störigt med kyrkklockorna men dem ringde bara mellan 8-22, inte på natten. Mycket vänlig personal men lite dåliga på engelska.

We had room 12 which was next to the cleaners cupboard with noise early morning from buckets filling up. A bit too noisy and not great when you're a light sleeper. Unfortunately the hotel was fully booked so we couldn't change rooms. There were two events during our stay. I could see the benefits of booking for social events.But notice of these would have been good as this meant the restaurants were unavailable which we didnt know until trying to access them. However I have to say the hotel was really good, a great location and accessible to local attractions. Breakfast was great and off menu needs catered for. The staff were excellent! Especially cleaning and catering staff. We didn't hear the cathedral bell hardly. I'd go back but would want to stay in a different room.

The battery went dead on the door key card . The front desk gentleman handled it well and then treated me to a glass of wine. Very kind. A party was held in the restaurant downstairs and was very loud. I wasn’t able to take my siesta. I guess i should have just joined the party. I would still recommend the hotel. It is next to the cathedral- so the bells chime’

Grand room, very well cleaned although maintainance could be improved - for example tile replacement handiwork leaves a lot to be desired. Very large and comfortable bed. Small in room fridge was great. Good quality pod coffee machine in the room, but I've never been charged for in room coffee in a 4 star hotel before. Breakfast was good but no option to book with room, so had to pay €12 pp per day, about 80% of buffet/menu items were available. Staff friendly and polite. Lovely building, fantastic location. Stayed in Feb 2026, as with most things in the city during off peak season, availability and opening hours varied without notice. For example the pool cocktail bar wasn't open at all the nights we were there (Sat-Tues), but other venues elsewhere were. If you are a light sleeper be aware that the catedral bells sound each quarter and on the hour every hour 08:00-00:00.

The hotel is in a great location and has some lovely facilities, such as the roof top bar and pool, cool bar downstairs and restaurant. We had a junior suite in the original part of the building, the condition of the room for the cost was disappointing. The toilet wasnt attached to the wall so when sat on it banged, not good in the middle of the night, the paint was peeling off the bathroom ceiling, and overall it was tired. The shower was powerful and clean. For the price of the room having to pay for even a small bottle of water or a hot drink in room we felt was cheeky! The staff were great and very friendly.

Very nice hotel and lovely staff. Only 2 issues...sheets didnt fit the bed and very slow restaurant service. We left to find a restaurant outside the hotel twice.

We had room 12 which was next to the cleaners cupboard with noise early morning from buckets filling up. A bit too noisy and not great when you're a light sleeper. Unfortunately the hotel was fully booked so we couldn't change rooms. There were two events during our stay. I could see the benefits of booking for social events.But notice of these would have been good as this meant the restaurants were unavailable which we didnt know until trying to access them. However I have to say the hotel was really good, a great location and accessible to local attractions. Breakfast was great and off menu needs catered for. The staff were excellent! Especially cleaning and catering staff. We didn't hear the cathedral bell hardly. I'd go back but would want to stay in a different room.

Everything was great. Situated right next to the Cathedral in center. Parking was a problem but there was a garage close. Roof bar was great overlooking the Cathedral and square lots of great restaurants nearby.

Mycket fint hotel ,stort härligt rum på andra våningen med utsikt över Katedralen och torget framför. Lite störigt med kyrkklockorna men dem ringde bara mellan 8-22, inte på natten. Mycket vänlig personal men lite dåliga på engelska.

Nos tocó la procesión de la virgen al llegar, por lo que no había muchos restaurantes abiertos, el hotel nos salvó, con una excelente atención y comida muy rica en almuerzo y cena La habitación estaba sucia, baño y paredes manchadas con humedad y nos dieron habitación con 2 camas, pero reservamos habitación superior, mal ahí El estacionamiento estaba a dos cuadras, aceptable

Very pleasant and charming hotel right in the middle of the old city. We had a luncheon portion of Calamari Squid and Fish and it was to die for especially with a great view and bottle of wine all for under 40€ Highly recommend!

Ualmindeligt velbeliggende hotel. Med mulighed for parkering lige i nærheden - (17euros for 1 nat). Hotellet er rigtig pænt og personalet er meget venlige. Vi savnede kaffe på værelset (fik kun te) og morgenmaden var ret kedelig - omeletten overbagt - tør. Værelset stort og rummeligt med glasdør der kunne åbnes til lille meget trist baggård. Ingen vinduer derudover. Men alt i alt et rigtig godt sted.

We had a delightful stay at this hotel, with a room affording wonderful views over Cathedral Square. The rooms were beautifully bright, complemented by charming Juliette windows. Breakfast was a serene affair, the dining room offered a peaceful atmosphere with a fine selection of fruits, yoghurts, and pastries, alongside a cooked-to-order menu. It provided a perfect, tranquil start to the day before heading out into the vibrant hustle and bustle of Almería. Looking forward to our next visit hopefully sometime next year.

there was a wedding at the hotel on the day that we arrived so restaurant was closed - had to eat on roof terrace - meal was poor - service was helpful but overall the only BAD meal we had on our Spanish road trip. We checked out a day early not to waste any more time in Almeria.

The hotel was in a perfect location for touring the old town! The front desk staff and our servers in the restaurant, especially Yass made our ordering seamless, The food was very good! We enjoyed our stay!
