Outstanding place and the staff are amazing and very service minded. The food was delicious and the spa treatment fantastic. BenBen has my best recommondations and I will encourage people to stay there. Just a wonderful hotel.

Beautifully situated and designed hotel. Unlike many alternatives, it is in a distance from Aswan city, creating a very peaceful environment. Also, it is close to the Philae temple complex. If arranged with the hotel, the boat ride there and back is expensive (currently 30 dollars), but is simpler and more flexible than from the main dock (e.g. for checking out the original location of the temples, birdwatching). The only negative we fould was the water temperature of the jacuzzi - probably not an issue in summer, but felt a bit chilly in January. Finally, two suggestions for management: - Play local music in the restaurant, while jazz was better, pop songs are really not a good fit for the property. - Sell the beautiful traditional pottery used in the restaurant as a side business. We tried to purchase coffee cups and a pitcher, but unfortunately it was not possible.

Extremely attentive staff made it seem like private concierge service. Being on a separate island was nice to be away from the bustle of town, and it's not isolated, only a 10-15 minute boat ride which is free and on-call from the hotel. Beautiful, beautiful resort

We had a wonderful stay and enjoyed the quiet, tranquil location. The staff and service was outstanding, everyone was eager to help. The spa facility was exceptional, particularly Zeinab provided an amazing and relaxing experience. The rooms are large and we had a cold jacuzzi which was very nice in the hot weather. The buffet breakfast was delicious.
We had a wonderful stay and enjoyed the quiet, tranquil location. The staff and service was outstanding, everyone was eager to help. The spa facility was exceptional, particularly Zeinab provided an amazing and relaxing experience. The rooms are large and we had a cold jacuzzi which was very nice in the hot weather. This place was build and priced with the intention of becoming a superstar eco-lodge, but unfortunately ran rather like a hostel. Pros: views are picturesque, rooms are nice & well equipped, staff are very friendly Cons: Trapped on a secluded island with very bad shuttle boat service. Staff was never trained. Food quality very poor. Hot shower not working. Wifi not working even after complaining twice. Construction workers & noise all over the place. AC facing the bed in a very bad way, not adjustable. Room & terrace lack privacy. Very loud music from next door camp. Very little value for money overall.

Lovely and unique hotel. The staff was very nice and helpful. The breakfast was nice, but they could speed things up by having some coffee in pots already made. Each cup is made individually and slowly. The dinner was just so so. The spa was great. People should be aware they do not serve alcohol, even though is a terrific location for a drink.

Beautiful property. Stunning views of surrounding areas and philea temple. Treat yourself to a massage, the lady was very well trained to give a firm Swedish massage. The downside is the food is a bit random and services is slow - you also don't feel hosted. They need a senior hotel.manager on hand all the time.

The staff and the views save this place. The restaurant staff, the housekeeping, and the boat guys are very nice and helpful, always greet you with a friendly smile. The hotel needs repairs though. The jacuzzi malfunctions, and the SHOWER needs big improvement. Stayed at room 403, and the shower cannot give proper temperature water; either too hot that can hurt you, or too cold, which made the showet experience uncomfortable. Mosquito nets needs better renovation and please put mosquito nets or repellants in rooms, as mosquitos are not something the hotel can control, but can simply help the customer experience be better by working on these points. Unique and dramatic hotel on island of granite boulders overlooking the Philae Temple. Lovely warm rooms. Great food and spectacular views from the terrace. Downside is that everywhere is a steep climb or series of stairs. Not for the mobility impaired or elderly. If you’re young and active, a perfect spot.

This is an amazing location - the hotel is built on a series of levels high on a rock outcrop that overlooks the ancient Egyptian Philae Temple with stunning 360° views. The rooms are each individually designed, all have pools or spas, and the staff are wonderful. You can only reach the hotel by boat so it’s not the place for busy executives (although WiFi is very good.) there’s the BenBen meditation rock and lots to think about.

Lovely and unique hotel. The staff was very nice and helpful. The breakfast was nice, but they could speed things up by having some coffee in pots already made. Each cup is made individually and slowly. The dinner was just so so. The spa was great. People should be aware they do not serve alcohol, even though is a terrific location for a drink.

The staff and the views save this place. The restaurant staff, the housekeeping, and the boat guys are very nice and helpful, always greet you with a friendly smile. The hotel needs repairs though. The jacuzzi malfunctions, and the SHOWER needs big improvement. Stayed at room 403, and the shower cannot give proper temperature water; either too hot that can hurt you, or too cold, which made the showet experience uncomfortable. Mosquito nets needs better renovation and please put mosquito nets or repellants in rooms, as mosquitos are not something the hotel can control, but can simply help the customer experience be better by working on these points. This was such a cute stay! I stayed for 2 nights and it felt so quaint and charming, made me feel like I was in Greece! I was nervous about figuring out how to get to the hotel on the island, but the hotel staff was kind enough to arrange a ride and water taxi for me. The spa services were also excellent! Was so relaxing and I highly recommend. The food was also delicious. The staff are so attentive to you, and treat you like royalty!

As someone who rarely complains the ratings and reviews about this property are completely inaccurate. The property is on an island where you need to take a boat to get to. The boat is very limited and it is difficult to get onto and off of the island. There are small carts to transport you around the property called “tok tok” they are very scary up and down the hills of the property. They are a safety issue people, they are frightening to ride and unfortunately they’re the only way to navigate the property. I’ve heard several people scream while riding on it. There is limited food available, they have only one small restaurant with very high prices. The food is not worth its price value. The worst part about it was I got sick, and had a headache and fever. We asked the front desk if they had any medication to purchase, they told me they would order it from the pharmacy and would be there in 15 minutes. After 10 phone calls and 5 hours later I finally received the medication. We were expecting better service from the staff at this property. This was a subpar experience, and I wouldn’t recommend this property. They’re overpriced and unprofessional.

Beautifully situated and designed hotel. Unlike many alternatives, it is in a distance from Aswan city, creating a very peaceful environment. Also, it is close to the Philae temple complex. If arranged with the hotel, the boat ride there and back is expensive (currently 30 dollars), but is simpler and more flexible than from the main dock (e.g. for checking out the original location of the temples, birdwatching). The only negative we fould was the water temperature of the jacuzzi - probably not an issue in summer, but felt a bit chilly in January. This place was build and priced with the intention of becoming a superstar eco-lodge, but unfortunately ran rather like a hostel. Pros: views are picturesque, rooms are nice & well equipped, staff are very friendly Cons: Trapped on a secluded island with very bad shuttle boat service. Staff was never trained. Food quality very poor. Hot shower not working. Wifi not working even after complaining twice. Construction workers & noise all over the place. AC facing the bed in a very bad way, not adjustable. This hotel is beautiful peaceful gem on a private island. The decoration and detail was so beautiful. Also the staff was great. Especially Mohammed Shuri in the restaurant and Dina at front desk. The grounds were so pretty- flowers , trees , lily pond. Nicest I’ve seen in Egypt. And a gorgeous swimming pool in addition to our private jacuzzi.

I love the place and it is something magic about this hotel, especially that it is so close to the Isis temple, and I love their spa. I felt that this place helped me to do my auto-healing retreat. The food was great and affordable and the staff extremely nice and helpful. I want to come back in the future!!!
