Aufenthalt am 5 Nächte

Die Zuvorkommenheit und Freundlichkeit des gesamten Teams - unser Zimmer war hervorragend gepflegt, die Bausubstanz/Badezimmer alles neu, die historischen Möbel wie neu aufgearbeitet - dass alles gab ein tolles Wohlfühlgefühl. Leider war das Restaurant und die Bar nochnicht wieder geöffnet - dann wäre alles noch schöner gewesen. Unser Zimmer bekamen wir nach der frühen Ankunft bereits um 10 Uhr, gleichzeitig wurde extra ein Sonenschirm mit Liegen für uns am Strand aufgebaut.

Aufenthalt am 3 Nächte

1st room, 303, air wasn’t working. Read 80 when I arrived and 2 hrs later it was 81. Plus tv wasn’t hooked up to any service so had to again go to front desk to get fire stick. Was moved to 301 which had air and different front desk person installed fire stick. Later after dinner wanted a shower. No hot water! When I went down the next morning I was told repairman was scheduled to come that day. Then found out the issue was known the day, or more, before I checked in. It would have been nice to be told that before taking the room. What a classy business would have done, I’ve had it done before, is make arrangements with another hotel to move to customers. Instead they took my money and didn’t supply normal services, basic hot water. They told me that the hotel was just sold at auction. No doubt it was a bargain needing all sorts of work. The icing on the cake was when I told them I would be leaving after one night of a 3 night reservation because they couldn’t guarantee that the hot water system would be repaired they were kind enough to let me know they wouldn’t charge me for the next two days. Very old furniture, the fabric on the couch looks pretty dirty. In the bathroom you can see huge coaches. The private beach is a fake. Several times they change our sun beds to the old rusty ones. The beach staff is very rude and sometimes drunken. We definitely not recommend this hotel.Marina Canada
