Humid and smelly room. Fresh air and AC didn’t fix it. Breakfast overall fine but, running from 7-10, however for whatever reason the espresso machine will run from 8. A lot of early birds got a bit annoyed - strange staffing principles

My wife and I loved how family friendly this resort is. It had fantastic beach and pool amenities for everyone to enjoy. The staff were wonderful and people from all over the world enjoyed themselves.

Too much wrong to give this hotel any more than two stars. The biggest issue is a lack of sunbeds which means there’s an early morning scramble to put towels down to secure a bed. Any later than 7am and you’ll be lucky to get a bed. Another 20 beds on the beach and on the grass near the pool would fix this issue. Breakfast has a similar problem. Not enough coffee machines and only one egg station means queuing for food and drink. No tables available at peak time. Service poor and staff rude and unhelpful. Rooms are cleaned every day but most days they forgot to provide clean towels. Food and drink expensive. Thankfully Mama’s Kitchen is really good - we usually ate there for lunch and dinner. There is a gym but what little equipment is there doesn’t work well and the AC wasn’t working. If you want a coffee you have to go to the room full of cats. The first time I went there were three cats fighting, two customers standing on chairs screaming and the staff trying to calm things down with a broom. If you like a resort full of screaming children this is the place for you. If you book a boat trip using the in house guy expect to be ripped off. He offered me a boat for 2,000 baht but when I came to pay he said it was 5,400 baht. When I walked away he dropped the price to 2,500 baht.
