SpringHill Suites by Marriott Houston I-45 North

Great property! Very clean and nice rooms. I just wish they would expand their parking lot. Overall I had a wonderful stay. I would definitely recommend.

Stayed there for the second time, especially third floor smelly by pet’s urinated (that needed to be shampooed carpet big time) and swimming pool chairs broken/fabric tears no where to sit but other than that, nice to staying and have everything I needed during stays.

Excellent Guest service, property was under construction which made parking a hassle.

Elevator not working

The hotel was nice, the staff kept to themselves so no real interaction there. The hotel has a bar on site but was closed on the weekend.

Everything was very good , except for the elevator was broken and we get the floor 3 the rest of the think was very good including the breakfast and the people ther soooo nice !!

Pool area horrible, chairs are all broken and cant sit in them. Safe was not working, shampoo was empty, room was noisy, bar was closed. Room was clean and bed was comfortable.

The lobby was really hot and there was no bar available on the weekend.

Nice large clean rooms

The room was not cleaned out very well after the last person. There was an empty bottle of crown royal and lots of stains! We could not use the pull out couch due to how dirty it was. I did not get much rest just thinking how dirty the bed must be if everything else was dirty. This was a very disappointing experience. Only thing I can say I that staff was very nice at front desk.

Not very clean, carpet and furniture had stains and it's outdated. Bed wasn't comfortable and heard constant noises from above floor. Definitely won't be back as it's not worth what i paid.

Bathroom door wasn't close,Bathroom sink clogged lots of cockroach in room I stayed there three days. I complained 3 time to fixed that but no one care...poor management

Spacious/clean room, decent breakfast options

My family and I picked this hotel for our vacation in Texas. When I first arrived in my room I instantly smelled mold. Despite my initial thought of running and requesting a new room I was so tired I decided to ignore it and get some rest. After smelling mold all night i finally went to sleep. when i woke up the next morning i felt somewhat sick. I was congested coughing and felt extremely nauseous. The only relief I got was when i exited the room and went outside for fresh air. Even the air conditioning smelled moldy it was a horrible experience and i'm likely leaving with an upper respiratory infection.

Room was clean, and it was a short drive to IAH. The only minor complaint was that the room was on the warm side, but it is Houston temps in August. It was a good stay for the price.

Nice people… a little dated. If your room faces I-45, it’s VERY loud.

The hotel is very close to the high way so tends to be loud at night when you want tour peaceful sleep. Request a room at the back part , even numbered rooms.

Clean room, plenty of space in the room. The staff is friendly

Mediocre at best. The room size was great and overall typically a solid choice. This time my a/c did not work, on 67 and read 72/73 the entire time and strong feeling of moisture. Leak in the room and mold in the bathroom. The manager was rude and seemed overwhelmed.

Comfortable and clean room ideal for family trips

Older Springhill Suites however it was clean . The bathroom door kept getting stuck . It’s next to a highway very noisey .

We changed 2 rooms after check - in 1. Room rest room door was not opening 2. Room entry lock card was not working 3 . After requesting, we got the 3rd room

I wouldn’t recommend anyone stay there. General manager is rude!!!! The put charges on your account that you are not aware of!! Rooms wasn’t the best carpet old and the room had a smell!!! Housekeeping run lies and they charge you for stuff you’re not aware of and don’t inform you!!! Don’t stay here and I never give bad reviews but this is ridiculous!’

It was very clean and the host was outstanding.

So my truck got stolen in front of the hotel security to be exact my truck was in the front of the hotel and the security man was 10ft from truck he saw everything while my truck getting stolen and he didn’t do nothing to stop the robbery and the front desk was very rude about it and they didn’t even want to talk about it they made look very suspicious for their customers not comeback

I am grateful. Everyone was extremely nice and helpful. I had early arrival and i was allowed to check in. I really appreciated that.

I was charged through Expedia and when I arrived I was told there were no rooms. Expedia referred me to the hotel so I sent an email to your hotel through Expedia explaining the situation and never heard back. To this day I’ve received no response and still haven’t been refunded. I’m currently disputing with my credit card company. Could someone please assist so I can be refunded?

I stayed here this past weekend. Ive stayed at this hotel several times in the past, but I wont be anymore. I can see why their ratings have went down. I reserved 2 queens beds through hotels.com in March for a stay this weekend in May. The hotel changed my reservation to a king bed because they had a full house of guest this weekend and needed to prioritize the rooms.My sister finds out they have queen rooms available when she gets there, so we ask to change our rooms back to the original 2 queens that we were suppose to have in the 1st place. I didn't know they they would charge us an extra $20 a day for changing the room back to our original booking. I would not recommend staying here mainly due to they can change your reservation without you wanting them to, if you book through a third party site. I was told by melodi or melody that they would not change your original reservation if you book directly through them. Please keep this in mind you are booking through this hotel. I would advise staying at the Bush location SpringHill, they are updated and they don't do that. The room itself wasn't bad. The room smelled older, but that not too much of a big deal. Some of our lights didn't work, the sink drained slow, the AC unit was very noisy and made it hard to sleep, and the curtain didn't really keep out the light. These things were minor issues that were doable. I didn't appreciate them changing my room when I booked ahead of time for a specific room.

Right on Hyw 45, easy breezy in and out. The king bed was remarkably comfy and they use FULL SIZED pillows, not those half things. Breakfast was good, just not a lot of choices.

Close to the airport and just off of I 45. Good food nearby.

10/10 recommend. Stayed there for a night. Front desk was friendly and sweet, walking distance is a nearby restaurant (grabbed lunch 10/10), room was clean and beautiful! Loved my stay!

If you want a rude reception desk attendant, smelly musty rooms, and freeway noise all night, then this is the place for you. I booked it because it was rated a 9/10. I'm shocked and will not trust that rating system again. This place didnt feel safe. So thankful to see our car still in the parking lot the next day.
