Carpet in room was sticky. Dead cricket in the corner. Can’t plug in refrigerator & microwave at the same time. Smelled bad & even the front desk looked dirty. Hot tub didn’t have any jets.

The room Was rather disappointing . No knob on bathroom door. Floor appeared to not be vacuum the fridge was gross . The pillows looked to be dirty/stained. Tub/shower appeared to be dirty. For paying what you pay it should be cleaner:(

The room smelled and the cleanliness was sub-par with large stains on the carpet and a streak in the toilet bowl like it had not been scrubbed for days. The bed sheets had stains and the two pillows were as flat as a pancake. When i asked to check out one day early and be re-imbursed, the owner denied my request. I left anyway as i was not going to stay there for a second night.

When we got to the room we had no tv. Went to front desks and they said they were having technical difficulties and the people would not come out on the weekend to fix it so we went to Dollar General to get a dvd player so we had something to watch. There was no coffee maker in room and they just had a regular household coffee maker in breakfast area. The towels were stained but other than that it was a decent place to stay.

When we got to the room we had no tv. Went to front desks and they said they were having technical difficulties and the people would not come out on the weekend to fix it so we went to Dollar General to get a dvd player so we had something to watch. There was no coffee maker in room and they just had a regular household coffee maker in breakfast area. The towels were stained but other than that it was a decent place to stay.

This property should be shut down. The manager is in a white tshirt and pajama pants. The lady who tried to check me in hardly speaks English.. My tv did not work. Was told all tv’s on 2nd floor weren’t working after I had checked in. My son rented a room and left because of the filthy mattress and bedding. Was offered another room and was just as dirty. The toilet in my bathroom ran off and on all night. The breakfast was cereal or white bread 2 slices served in a baggy. The butter packets were half dried up. I would never recommend this place to anyone!

The hotel was very dated, mismatched bedding and towels by the sink and in the bathroom. Carpets were very worn and past what a shampoo can do. Tissue holder came apart and to top it off we had cold showers at 8 am on a Saturday morning. Beds were very hard and the pillows were flat. Dogs are allowed in rooms and barked multiple times throughout the night and early morning hours. Hotel staff experienced internet issues upon check-in. The lobby was very hot and uncomfortable. The room was a little cooler, but not by much.

To conserve energy the AC is encouraged to be off anytime you aren’t in your room. Meaning we walked in on the hottest day of the year to a hot hotel. It never did catch up through the night.

My son competed in the NXR Regional XC race and we stayed at this hotel. IT was quiet, well kept and perfect for an overnight stay. No issues with anything in the room and when we needed more towels the staff was able to provide with no delays. If you are looking for a no thrills but comfortable hotel this is the place to stay.

The price was good, but there were boxes of old air conditioners that were stored in our room. Breakfast was only toast and cereal. The coffee was horrible. The air conditioner compressor went on and off all night preventing sleep. The key to the room was a metal key that wasn’t adaptable to the late night entry. Never going back! Towels were a mismatched combination of cheap material and none matched.

I’ve never been treated so disrespectfully checking into a hotel. Not only was I spoken to with such little disregard but my parts were yelled at. My parents were followed by the owners and accused of sneaking pets into the building without their knowlege when they were in fact declared on their check in paperwork. There is not a chance I would stay there again under that ownership.

We actually did not stay as my son picked a different motel for their wedding party. I called and advised the Billmar Inn that I needed to cancel. I called AT LEAST 6 times as I KNEW the man I was talking to did NOT even look for my reservation to cancel. The first time I called was a MONTH before my reservation. This man is RUDE and the WORST excuse for a business man ever!! Of course he charged me for my two rooms and now REFUSES to refund me!!! I would NEVER EVER recommend that anyone stay at this hotel!!!

I called the hotel directly after booking online to let them know we would be very late (ie around midnight) secondary to a severe storm and being on the road in unforeseen circumstances. The hotel manager berated and harassed me vehemently. He stated there is no late check in and everyone would be asleep. He then offered me advice that "in the future, i needed to plan ahead".

Check I. Was easy. When we got into the room the TV was not working. Called front desk and the came right away and tried to fix it. We eventually were moved to another room. The staff was great!

The room was decent and check-in pretty easy. Got a double queen room. Only 1 pillow for each guest so make sure you ask for more pillows if you have to sleep with two. The breakfast was sub-par as it was white toast with jelly, and two cereal options. That was it. Otherwise, an easy check in and nice hotel

The property appeared to be in good condition. The continental breakfast consisted of toast and dry cereal. Coffee was very watered down. The room was not clean. Found a hair pin in the bed. Paid for 2 queen beds. One drinking cup, no coffee maker, 2 worn out bath towels, 2 hand towels. Plastic mattress cover torn, bed skirt half tucked under mattress. THEN during breakfast we saw the worker/owner sweep up the crumbs on the floor then proceeded to use the same dirty broom to sweep off the TABLE next to us. This room cost us $160 CDN and we would NEVER return to this place.

It was a nice hotel, except the breakfast didn’t have a lot to it of a variety of foods. All that was served was bite size cinnamon rolls, oatmeal rolls, cereal (2 kinds), and cheez it’s. Would have been nice if they had yogurt and boiled eggs. The manager was friendly

It was a nice hotel, except the breakfast didn’t have a lot to it of a variety of foods. All that was served was bite size cinnamon rolls, oatmeal rolls, cereal (2 kinds), and cheez it’s. Would have been nice if they had yogurt and boiled eggs. The manager was friendly

You can tell they are upgrading the hotel. Love the wood floors; nobody wants musty/damp carpet in their room. The room was spacious enough for one night and was clean. I don't like that the sink area is outside of the toilet area; makes it hard for one person to get ready while someone sleeps. It's on a busier road, but it's Dell Rapids, so it didn't bother us. Plus, the AC masks a lot of sounds. Employees/owners were friendly and helpful. No coffee in the room, but the fridge worked. Super convenient for visiting family nearby, and the price was right.
