This is our second stay at the Napa Valley Railway Inn, and I'm sure it won't be our last. It's just a lovely property, centrally located within walking distance of all the restaurants and shops, with free parking and an adorable coffee / pastry bakery located in the end of the inn where you can grab breakfast. We've had outstanding service from them both times and can't recommend this place enough!

This is our second stay at the Napa Valley Railway Inn, and I'm sure it won't be our last. Great location. Cozy room with enough space for us and our portable crib. Unique idea of the rail cars as room. Would definitely stay here again. Walking distance to great restaurants. If you are a light sleeper you might hear the hot air balloons being filled and lifted at around 530-6 am. Very cool to look at though!

The room was definitely a pleasant surprise for my sister and I who were only there for one night. The room was very large because each room is a whole train car. The skylights kept the rooms nice and light. It is also right next door to Mini Model so having the yummy sausage breakfast sandwich so close by was a bonus!

The WiFi did not work. You would connect and it would drop. You could not stay connected. One of my traveling companions had some emergency work stuff come up on our trip and he couldn’t work from here. The owners response was “I’ve never had that complaint in 25 years”. My response is , this is 2023 where people expect a usable WiFi. Maybe the problem is she has a 1998 WiFi? Nevertheless, upgrade your WiFi and when a customer has an isssue the proper answer is “let me call my WiFi provider or my it guy”. The answer should not be that it works for everyone else so it must be you. The response was not what you expect when you are in one of the most luxiourious towns ever. It was bad customer service.

This is a gem of a find in Yountville! The hotel is incredibly charming, and the location cannot be beat. We walked to meals and around the beautiful little town right from our room. Unfortunately we were there on a Wednesday when the breakfast cafe in the last railway car was closed, but that’s just incentive to come back another time to try it out! This will definitely be a repeat stay property for us.

A very unique experience. We loved our "railway car" and you can\'t beat the location. Plus, the coffee and breakfast place opens at 6:30am and is literally at the end of the hallway - so convenient for us early risers. I would recommend this inn to everyone especially if you compare the rates with other hotels in Yountville.

This property was so unique and fun. The rooms were very spacious and we loved having our own private sitting area outside our room to enjoy a delicious breakfast from the cafe just steps away. It’s the perfect spot in the heart of Yountville. We will definitely stay here again.

Ther property is in a great location. Be prepared for loud noise during the weekend nights. The hot air balloons take off from the neighboring parking. They are beautiful but are loud setting up at 6:30 am. We enjoyed a wine tasting across the way with a special offering. Also recommend bringing your own bottle water because we only were given 2 bottles upon arrival and they were not replenished. Our room had skylights so the room was bright early in the morning. I recommend for the location.

Ther property is in a great location. Be prepared for loud noise during the weekend nights. The hot air balloons take off from the neighboring parking. Cute property, unique experience, great location in Yountville. Only negative is the caboose. Don't book that room if you don't want to be awake at dawn. The upper caboose is all windows without curtains.
