Quiet motel. Very quirky interior however had all mod cons. Staff were super helpful on recommending restaurants, things close by. Great location, easy to walk into town or to surrounding restaurants, cafes. Very clean and comfortable rooms.

Our flight was delayed, but Sonny was very patient and understanding despite the late hour of our arrival. Helped us with our luggage and parking. Lovely old building, nicely restored and a very comfortable room. Thoroughly recommend

The Mews is a beautiful property. A stately mansion with stunning gardens and an ornate lounge area and guest dining room that is home to a fabulous continental breakfast. The bedrooms are comfortable, charming and well equipped. Loved my stay.

Friendly reception and check in, spacious and clean rooms, loved the back outside area where you can relax undercover, a fully equipped chicken to cook what you wish including a BBQ. Easy flat 15 minute walk into the mall. Definitely stay again.

I really liked the 'Old World Charm" about the place. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Accommodation was good and value for or money. Very impressed with the secure off-street parking. I would highly recommend this location for stays in Launceston. Only suggestion is that more choice of TV channels, but such a minor issue. Gilbo

Room overcrowded with furniture. No where to put case/bags apart from on arm chairs. Room needed some TLC. Lots of ornaments etc. which we felt were OTT for our taste. Easy parking and in/out entry. Owner/staff very friendly and helpful.

very nice gentleman checked me in showed me the room it was cosy he already put on electric blanket for me and answered a few questions. Overall very good and all the antique furniture around place was a nice touch I would recommend for a couple

This is a delightful and very quaint old house filled with treasures! Our room (twin) was well appointed and very clean. The host is incredibly lovely and very helpful. A great location with restaurants/supermarkets close by. Would definitely recommend.

I only stayed here for one night, but my room was very comfortable, clean and cozy. The owner was genuinely lovely and went out of his way to help me out after my flight was delayed. I would happily stay here again on a return trip

Very friendly owner who was helpful and personable. The room was alright. A bit small and seemed cluttered with all the furniture. Can do with some renovations and cleaning around the window seals. Was also very noisy with the traffic and building works across the road.

We enjoyed a comfortable stay and our host was pleasant and courteous. It is not a criticism but a suggestion, our room could be furnished less for better comfortability. Too much clutter. One towel had a rust stain on it. I prefer to sleep with blacked out room. Couldnt close the curtains completely due to slight disrepair. Location was excellent, and I noticed little road noise even thought its on a busy road.

Location was an easy walk to town. Toilet didn't flush properly until we were leaving next morning which meant we were quite concerned using it. Bed was comfortable and Sonny was an excellent host letting us in early because we were tired which as it turns out was because we have covid.

I cannot understand the 4 stars rating on Expedia (it’s rather a 2*: converted house with a few rooms to rent). The cleanliness is inconsistent. The good: very clean bedsheets and towels, no smell. Low price. Parking included. The bad: ingrained dust in the bathroom ledge of tiles, sticky grime on power switches, fridge door, doors and night tables. Basically on everything people normally touch. The bathroom is small, with a minuscule sink. I would never recommend it to anyone.

I cannot understand the 4 stars rating on Expedia (it’s rather a 2*: converted house with a few rooms to rent). The cleanliness is inconsistent. The good: very clean bedsheets and towels, no smell. Low price. Parking included. The bad: ingrained dust in the bathroom ledge of tiles, sticky grime on power switches, fridge door, doors and night tables. Basically on everything people normally touch. The bathroom is small, with a minuscule sink. I would never recommend it to anyone.

Comfy old fashioned furniture, but lots of stairs to the top rooms. Secure parking behind a gate was great. An unusual place to stay.
