Baymont by Wyndham Dayton North

We arrived after booking the hotel a couple of hours earlier while in the road. The guy checking us in told us he needed 5-10 minutes to make sure that the room was clean as he said it was the last room and they were sold out. He came back and gave us the key. It was obvious that one bed had been hastily made. Stains on one side of the bed, towels dirty and discolored. I loomed to see if there were any other nearby hotels open and for whatever reason everything was sold out. Had theee been something else available we would have asked for a refund and left. I gave my grown daughter the bed that looked clean and we stayed. The hotel is in very poor condition with stains on the walls, cracked In the tub, and a shower that barely works. I’m not one to leave bad reviews, but feel that people need to be aware of the condition.

The rooms were trashed when we stayed. We had to clean it before we could even stay. The beds were nasty. I would not recommend this place. Especially for the price this was ridiculous.

We stayed here for a quick, last minute overnight trip. The reviews seemed good and the photos made it look like a nice property. Checking in was easy and the gentleman was friendly. But when we went to find our room, things got sketchy. The elevator jerked when starting and stopping. When we got off the elevator, we turned the wrong way and ended up going the long way to our room. The exterior was in need of major repair. Paint was peeling from the ceiling, windows on rooms had large cracks. The actual room was clean, but had major issues and smelled like pot. The exterior door had to be shoved to open. The remote for the TV was bent in half but somehow still worked, the hairdryer did not work at all. The mini fridge had a huge chunk of ice covering the top and back of the unit. We had a king sized bed but were only given 3 very small pillows. Once we turned the TV off to sleep, we could hear everything going on outside. The noise from the interstate was loud. We could hear every semi truck, every car, and several times heard people racing down the street. I was awake the entire night because of the noise. It was awful and I was exhausted the next day. We will not stay here again.

The room and environment were so deplorable that I did not stay here. There were stains on the bed, towels, and chairs, and it reeked of cigarette smoke. There were two dingy small pillows on the bed as well. When I made complaints about the room, the room they were going to switch me to already had people inside. I canceled my stay, and they have yet to give me even a partial refund. The attitude of the manager was degrading and condescending so much so that they continually hang up the phone and have even stopped answering when I call. Trust me Do NOT stay here!

Room was okay. Bed was stained and bedding wouldnt stay on. There was dirt in the corner of the bathroom and a big spot in ceiling where there was a leak. I asked for handicap excessable room and we were stuck on the 3rd floor all the way down the hall in the next to last room.
