The hotel is beautiful! The charm is both amazing and stressful. We’ve stayed here before with littlest disruption’s but this time we weren’t so lucky with the noise…. This is an old building and can expect noise but this visit was extra noisy. The doors shut very loud, which we heard all night with guests coming and going, in and out of the hotel and off to the coffee bar- which is a nice extra but not great when trying to sleep. We had our dog with us for our entire trip in other hotels and she did not bark until we were staying here. When the outside door opened, it sounded like our door was opening which was scary (at first for all of us) It’s always unfortunate when bad experiences happen because it affects future accommodations planning. We are on the fence about staying here again. I truly hope others get to experience the beauty of this place without the mindlessness of loud guests all night. The staff were sympathetic to our concerns but with no over night staff they too can only hope for quiet guests. Don’t completely write this one off- if sleep isn’t your first priority, this place is worth a try.

Absolutely stunning hotel. We were made to feel very welcome. Room was clean and spacious. Main streets in Kimberley were only a few minutes walk.. Pedal and Tap and Stonehouse are lovely to go for dinner. I would highly recommend this hotel
