Ocean Pointe Suites at Key Largo

It is not a hotel, it’s condos rented out, so no maid service. I don’t care about maid service, but we had 3 washcloths, towels for 5 days, 2 people. Got a text saying if you need anything text us. I did, never got more towels or a reply. The bed clearly sank in the middle, was disgustingly dirty under bed. The side of fridge was disgusting. The thermostat was set on 71 when we walked in, never git below 77 in the room, one night it was 78 when we were trying to sleep. It ran nonstop, never cooled room. Water pressure in shower was nonexistent, we had to stand right under shower head and let it drip on you. There was painters tape still on a few walls, a wall outlet cover was sitting on kitchen counter, tape was covering outlet. The fridge froze lunchmeat and everything we put in fridge. And to top it all off we killed two cockroaches in our room and saw one in restaurant on property. Bartender acted like it was no big deal. We left a day early because we couldn’t sleep there with the heat and the uncomfortable bed.

I rarely complain about a hotel experience. Check-in was too complicated and we had to drive off property to get checked in. During check check-in, we were told that maintenance was working on our elevator. Our thoughts were that it would be repaired at some point. It was out of service the entire time of our stay, and with us being on the third and fourth floors, lugging fishing gear up and down the stairs was tiresome. Once we got in our unit (4307) the internet was not working. The WiFi name we were told to use was not listed on available networks. Alex, the manager from the check-in office came to our unit and could not correct the problem and said he would work on it and get back to us. He never got back to us. The TV in the second bedroom did not work (no available signal). The blinds in both rooms were not functional. The shower in the hall bathroom did not work properly; the shower head control was jammed. There were no towels in the master bathroom. -----------

Les appartements sont spacieux et entièrement équipés. Les balcons sont petits mais offrent une magnifique vue sur l'océan. Grande piscine, terrains de tennis, plage privée et son petit port. La résidence est totalement sécurisée.

Sink faucet was broken, sprayed us when using it. Had to brush teeth and wash hands in kitchen instead of bathroom. Security gate gets backed up with people checking in when coming and going. Had to wait 30 minutes in line to get back to room. Property under construction, elevator didn’t work at times due to workers. With 2 little kids and being on 4th floor stairs were very inconvenient.
