Smoke alarms - battery operated, not hard wired and battery is removable which we did when it kept going off. Pool wasn’t operating and we weren’t told this when booking or checking in - was 40 degrees so would have been used. Emergency numbers were incorrect. Shower was very dirty. Had to pull own sofa out (paid for extra person when booking in so expected this), but was filthy underneath. Breakfast they say ‘is on us, please just one serve per person’ even though we’ve actually paid for it. By 8.30 (second sitting) there wasn’t much left and wasn’t topped up the first morning - second morning was ok. Room wasn’t really serviced - one bed was made, 3 weren’t and only 4 towels for 5 people. The staff were friendly, but they were doing everything - running pub, managing motel, cooking.

Modern, clean and good service. I travel quite a bit and like the convenience of this hotel/motel. Not in the centre of town but has everything in house for me to stay until i need to leave, I don't stay long but always look forward to the dinner here, and I like the availability, and variety, of the included breakfast too.

We stayed in a 4 person room that only had 3 chairs at a small dining table. With only 3 coat hangers one towel rail. There was no couch to sit in room to just relax after a long drive. Parking was tight and away from our room. Pool had chairs, socks and ducks in it so kids couldn’t swim.

It was a great location for us travelling through Dubbo, with the pub next door it made it easy for dinner and a couple of drinks. The complimentary breakfast was excellent. Allocation of parking spaces seemed a bit strange, we stayed in unit/room 27, but seemed to have the parking spot furtherest away from that room.

Lovely stay. Friendly helpful staff. Comfortable spacious room with a spa bath. Attached to hotel for drinks and meals including breakfast. Our room had private courtyard and was located at the end of a walkway and was very quiet. We recieved some little extras eg 10%off meals and free drink. Would stay again.

My only suggestion is the room needed a better clean. Grim around the bottom of shower inside and out. More thorough vacuum as there was someone’s false nail on the floor near bed.

This price is so good, including breakfast and welcome drinks. The accommodation was generally good, but the floor cleaning was a little messy.My child's ball rolled on the floor and went under the bed, but I saw a plastic bottle that someone else had eaten. If you visit Dubbo, I'm willing to revisit again next time!!

The room is same as it looks in photos. Beautiful and spacious. Bathroom is big. I stayed for 3 nights, cleaners don’t clean the room. You can request for towel change but they wont do anything more. Outside private balcony and frontage is very dirty. You can’t sit and enjoy the balcony (totally unusable). We were not given breakfast on last day, kitchen was closed, not even single staff on premises or at reception nor they responded to any phone calls. 2 days we were served breakfast - was nice, staff are very friendly. They are doing you favour by serving you and feeding you for free it seems

The size of the two bedroom apartment was fantastic and the included breakfast next door at the Macquarie Inn was great, as were the included drinks. The only reason I didn't give five stars was that the apartment needed a big of a touch up paint and when we moved the lounge a little closer to the TV it was quite dirty underneath. Someone also spilt a drink outside the room next to us which was never cleaned up/hosed off and the garden path is uneven and is a potential trip hazard. Both are fairly minor though and could be easily fixed. Apart from that we had a great comfortable stay.

Accomodation was good but hot water ran out by the evening and no hot water at all by night, which made the whole stay unpleasant. Bed quilts were full of stains and hadn't wash for sometime. In addition, complimentary breakfast was rationed and released slowly. We were booked for 8:30am breakfast, but almost everything was empty when we went there at 8:30am. We had to wait for each food to be cooked, sometimes more than 10-15 minutes and (specially on the first day) staff were not interested in filling even the bread slices which were readily available in the kitchen, but had to ask. Even we had to ask for plates to put the food. Never had such bad experience with breakfast anywhere.

Outside private balcony and frontage is very dirty. You can’t sit and enjoy the balcony (totally unusable). We were not given breakfast on last day, kitchen was closed, not even single staff on premises or at reception nor they responded to any phone calls. 2 days we were served breakfast - was nice, staff are very friendly. They are doing you favour by serving you and feeding you for free it seems

I got changed to another room which I understand why but when asking about a price difference I was informed they are the same price. But when I checked on the website there was a significant difference of $50 less to be in the other room, would've been nice to be refunded the money.

The room is very spacious and cozy. We had all that we need for a quiet and relaxing night after five hours walk in the Zoo! The staff at the reception and the restaurant are friendly and helpful. Although the washing basin in the bathroom may need a plumber as the water is very slow to drain.

Great location as Dubbo zoo only down the road. Bistro meals are really nice as is the staff. Breakfast is great. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. Walking distance to shopping centre and bowling alley.

Modern, clean and good service. I travel quite a bit and like the convenience of this hotel/motel. Not in the centre of town but has everything in house for me to stay until i need to leave, I don't stay long but always look forward to the dinner here, and I like the availability, and variety, of the included breakfast too.

Smoke alarms - battery operated, not hard wired and battery is removable which we did when it kept going off. Pool wasn’t operating and we weren’t told this when booking or checking in - was 40 degrees so would have been used. Emergency numbers were incorrect. Shower was very dirty. Had to pull own sofa out (paid for extra person when booking in so expected this), but was filthy underneath. Breakfast they say ‘is on us, please just one serve per person’ even though we’ve actually paid for it. By 8.30 (second sitting) there wasn’t much left and wasn’t topped up the first morning - second morning was ok. Room wasn’t really serviced - one bed was made, 3 weren’t and only 4 towels for 5 people. The staff were friendly, but they were doing everything - running pub, managing motel, cooking.

We were really happy with our stay here. The room was great, very spacious. It was so great having the bistro right there for dinner and breakfast. The breakfast was really great, everything you need.

The room itself was ok. We paid big money to stay for three nights over Easter. We put our sign out for our room to be tidied. We came back to the bed made terribly, not all towels were replaced in the bathroom, and items used were not washed up or replaced with clean ones (no sink available to wash them myself). They removed the please tidy my room sign so we couldn't put it out on the following days we were staying. They say the cost of the room came with a complimentary breakfast. On the first morning, my husband and I went to the second time slot available. There was hardly any food left and we were advised that's all that was left and no more food would be put out.

We enjoyed the stay, staff were excellent. Breakfast was good, unfortunately dinner was well below expectations. Steak was well over cooked and potato’s were dry and old.

Accomodation was good but hot water ran out by the evening and no hot water at all by night, which made the whole stay unpleasant. Bed quilts were full of stains and hadn't wash for sometime. In addition, complimentary breakfast was rationed and released slowly. We were booked for 8:30am breakfast, but almost everything was empty when we went there at 8:30am. We had to wait for each food to be cooked, sometimes more than 10-15 minutes and (specially on the first day) staff were not interested in filling even the bread slices which were readily available in the kitchen, but had to ask. Even we had to ask for plates to put the food. Never had such bad experience with breakfast anywhere.

The food at the Macquarie inn was fantastic best schnitzel ! , the hot and cold complimentary breakfast was also delicious. The rooms had everything we needed and were neat and tidy- one tiny oversight was the the sliding cavity door to the bathroom is obviously open whilst the cleaners are in but once the door is closed there was quite a build up of dust and hair on the ledges of the closed door . Apart from this tiny oversight we loved our stay and highly recommend this accommodation and the lovely friendly staff we encountered

The room was clean and orderly. The shower was great if a bit messy in the spa bath. Water went everywhere. The Tv was nice. Parking was convenient. Breakfast was good and unexpected. The staff was very nice and helpful. Con: the king bed was extremely uncomfortable. Very soft when sitting but hard in the middle and uncomfortable to sleep. Next time will forgo the king and ask for a queen. Overall: Really pleasant staff and room the extras- Discount at dinner and free drink - really a nice surprise.

Hubby and I drove down from GC, halfway point to Melbourne and stayed overnight. Friendly staff, gorgeous room, very clean and modern, also warm and cozy. Had dinner on site, very yummy! Would definitely stay here again
