Arrived and given the wrong room, when we asked to change we were met with poor attitude from the staff. The new room we had to report a broke chair, plug sockets coming off the wall, the response was to move us again. We didn't want that but no one came to the room to sort those things. Pool was closed for maintenance, we didn't find that out until we asked where it was to use it. We went to go to one of the restaurants one evening to be told only one was open. No one came to clean/make beds replace coffee etc while we was out. Just poor service met with eye rolling from staff and no apology for anything.

Chose hotel for our last night before flying back to the USA. Hotel had everything! Pool, gym, restaurant, bar, and close to airport! Shuttle was available. Parking also.

Quiet off the road, although was a primary route this was not heard in the rooms. The hotel has a pool, not used it but looked a good size. The room (junior suite) was an ok size, came with a balcony. The only part i would change was bathroom, the shower was in need of replacement, very worn away and although clean this was general use. Excellent breakfasts, great selection of food, fresh and warm

This is a corner of “Paradise” in a big town. Aside from Transylvania or the mountains in Romania, Caro Hotel makes you feel surrounded by nature, allowing you to fully enjoy your stay. I warmly recommend it to everyone to try. In addition to the nature, you will have access to facilities such as a gym and a swimming pool. You can enjoy the best cappuccino in the world in the reception area!

Die Unterkunft war sehr modern eingerichtet. Das der Fernseher sich im Spiegel versteckt hat, hätte man beschreiben sollen. Im Badezimmer war die Dichtung an der Duschabtrennungstür kaputt, sodass das Wasser bis in den Waschbecken bereich gelaufen ist. Außerdem wies die Dusche sehr starke Kalk flecken auf.

I liked the hotel's surroundings, the feeling of being in nature inside a big city, so I stayed twice in a short time. The room could use improvements, such as glasses in the bathroom, tissues, and fixing the missing glass panel in the shower so that the water doesn't splash everywhere. Some restaurant staff were not friendly at all, others were pleasant. More customer service is required. Having said that, I would probably go back for location and peacefulness. Also enjoyed the sunny pool deck.

Rengøringen var ikke super god. Der var støv på gulvet, og det var meget forskelligt hvordan den daglige rengøring var. Spiste en chokoladebar fra minibaren, som viste sig at være 10 måneder for gammel. Den fjernede de dog fra regningen, da jeg gjorde opmærksom på det. Servicen fra receptionen er ikke i top. De ting jeg spurgte om, blev de generelt sure over. Der blev sjældent svaret pænt. Man skal bede om et strygejern flere gange, før man får det. Man kan høre den trafikkerede vej udenfor, og man kan høre de andre gæster fra gangen og deres værelser. Den sidste nat, var der et værelse på gangen, der holdte techno fest... Selve indretningen af værelset var god. WiFi var også okay. Jeg fortryder, at jeg valgte morgenmaden, da den var lidt ligegyldig.

The hotel has two parts, an old an a new one. If you are unlucky as I was you are put in the old one. Fixtyres in the bathroom falling. Nice embrodery in old towels that you can see through. The room size was nice and the mattress hard but not bad, but the sheets and rhe duvet we too hot. Did not sleep well even thoufh it was silent.

Interesting room design, with sofa extending into a bunk bed, and a large mirror splitting the room in two, one with sofa and the other with the bed. Mirror contains the TV and swivels so it can be watched from either place (but not both at same time)

Fantastic room (Premium). The lighting in the room was very high tech. You could dim almost all of the lights. You couldn’t see the TV until it was turned on as it was hidden behind a big mirror. Very cool.

Arrived and given the wrong room, when we asked to change we were met with poor attitude from the staff. The new room we had to report a broke chair, plug sockets coming off the wall, the response was to move us again. We didn't want that but no one came to the room to sort those things. Pool was closed for maintenance, we didn't find that out until we asked where it was to use it. We went to go to one of the restaurants one evening to be told only one was open. No one came to clean/make beds replace coffee etc while we was out. Just poor service met with eye rolling from staff and no apology for anything.

I've spent three night here, travelling for bussines and did like the hotel very much. It is a proper 4+ star hotel, with a unique architecture and all the facilities you need for both businesses and pleasure. The hotel location is also well positioned. I did not find any major minuses that are worth mentioning and in comparison with the pluses that the hotel offers they are insignificant. I highly recommended trying this hotel.

Quiet off the road, although was a primary route this was not heard in the rooms. The hotel has a pool, not used it but looked a good size. The room (junior suite) was an ok size, came with a balcony. The only part i would change was bathroom, the shower was in need of replacement, very worn away and although clean this was general use. This is a corner of “Paradise” in a big town. Aside from Transylvania or the mountains in Romania, Caro Hotel makes you feel surrounded by nature, allowing you to fully enjoy your stay. I warmly recommend it to everyone to try. In addition to the nature, you will have access to facilities such as a gym and a swimming pool. You can enjoy the best cappuccino in the world in the reception area!

Es un hotel bonito, limpio y ofrece mucha variedad gastronomica y ambientes diferentes. La comida muy buena y variada. En general fue una muy buena estadia. Las habitaciones grandes, comodas y modernas (por lo menos la que elegimos). El personal muy amable y hacian su esfuerzo por atendernos y entendernos lo mejor que podian. La unica observacion es que el aire acondicionado, aunque estuviese lo mas frio posible, llegaba un momento que no se sentia frio. Ellos trataron pero no fue posible. Para nosotros era muy importante ya que somos del Caribe y necesitabamos que el aire acondicionado fuera frio. En Rumania las personas no son simpaticas de naturaleza pero en muchos casos se sentia que estaban haciendo el esfuerzo.

The staff is always friendly. There are great dining options for dinner. The breakfast is the best. I was able to enjoy the grounds more on this trip. The hammock area with after work cocktails was nice.

A little overpriced for what you get. Breakfast was nice but it wasn’t 23€ nice per person. Also they charged for parking as an addition that was $32 for several days. The hotel was nice and rooms were nice.

Mycket trevligt hotell med hjälpsam personal, underbar frukost och gott om parkeringsplatser. Ta med badmössa om du vill använda poolen, ibland finns det inga att köpa/låna. God mat i övriga restauranger. De nyrenoverade rummen är jättefräsch, de äldre inte lika fina.
Mycket trevligt hotell med hjälpsam personal, underbar frukost och gott om parkeringsplatser. Ta med badmössa om du vill använda poolen, ibland finns det inga att köpa/låna. God mat i övriga restauranger. De nyrenoverade rummen är jättefräsch, de äldre inte lika fina.

I last stayed at Caro at the beginning of June 2026. This is a large hotel, with multiple buildings. There are a few restaurants on site, I'm not sure how many but definitely more than two. There is paid parking on site. Breakfast is available, you can pay for it when you book, or you can just pay when you have it. The room I had now is among the better rooms in the hotel. It's not a real suite, but it's a very large room with two visually distinct sections, one for sleeping and the other like a living room. It had a large balcony towards in interior courtyard. I stayed before in a much smaller room, in a new section built quite recently. That room itself was not bad, but getting to it was plain weird, whoever designed that new section didn't know what they're doing. There were short flights of stairs without ramps, the entrance to the room was down a couple of steps. Just be aware. Staff is OK, most are nice and courteous, but I met a couple who borderline arrogant... The location is good, on the Tei lake, in a more upscale area of the city. It's a long walk to downtown, but not impossible. All in all this is a good place to stay, just don't expect perfect.

Great room design for a family. Beds comfortable. Breakfast tasty and good coffee. Pool and gym fine. You have to have a swimming hat to use the pool. They are strict on this.

Dejligt sted men lidt misvisende, at der står, der er pool, og så benyttes der billeder fra Thermerne i stedet. Poolen på hotel er udelukkende til svømning i baner. Vi fik en gratis værelsesopgradering ved indcheckning, og det var lækkert
