This a nice facility in a great location for exploring the Adirondacks. The property is clean. The staff is attentive. I have two concerns about this hotel. 1. There is some deferred maintenance that requires attention. One example is flooring that is uneven and cracked. 2. The shower is small. They use a shower curtain instead of a glass enclosure or shower door . Once the water is turned on the shower curtain is sucked inward coming into contact with you while you shower. I really don’t like that - especially considering how much the room is charged at per night.

Heading toward this site and never got notification I needed to check-in/register before 24 hrs of arrival. Making contact and in discussion with offsite (manager?) Was stressful up to point of checking in and without someone there( felt like I awoke them or intruded into a video game! ) If this is the new normal, I’m not on board with zero personal contact, yet didn’t reflect in a discount with the saving to the properties human infrastructure. Will need to double down next trip to make darn sure I’m paying for a warm body upon arrival or just stay home.

We enjoyed our stay, the room was clean and cozy. The shared space provided us with a nice area for reheating food, making coffee and toast. The sitting area was very nice as well. The location was perfect for our vacation and the fall colors were magnificent!

It’s always nice to stay at the Alpine. The rooms are clean and the beds super comfortable but the lack of staff is a drag. I stayed two nights and on the second could not locate my room key number. I sat in the car at 11 pm trying to find it in my email. It took 30 minutes before I finally found it. I wish there was a number to call but I tried that on another stay and didn’t get an answer until the next day. Nevertheless this is a nice place to stay
