We loved Fleur du Soliel - the best place we stayed on our tour in South Africa. The rooms were spacious, the decor stunning, staff very friendly and helpful, a lovely and peaceful outside space, and the breakfasts fresh and fantastic. Also, within easy reach of the restaurants in Franschhoek. The only slight negative, and this is not Fleur du Soliel's fault nor unique to Fleur du Soliel, is that even when booking via hotels.com the bookings are routed through Nightsbridge, a South Africa room booking platform and require a balancing payment to be made to Nightsbridge. For visitors from the UK, Nightsbridge is a pain to deal with as very many UK credit card companies won't allow payments to be made to Nightsbridge.

From entering to when we left we could not fault this place. The staff were all so friendly and helpful, easy to chat with and really couldn't do enough for you. We felt like we were treated so well during our stay Our room was fantastic, right next to the pool, bathroom was lovely with a good powerful shower Pool are was great to cool down in from a warm day out wine tasting. Breakfast was sensational, the choice was fantastic and always so well presented, the cheese board was awesome If ever back I would not hesitate to go back there to stay

We had the most wonderful stay at Flour du Soleil in Franschhoek – total comfort and convenience from start to finish. The accommodation was stylish, spotless, and incredibly cosy – we felt right at home the moment we arrived. The service was exceptional – warm, responsive, and genuinely thoughtful without ever being over the top. Every little detail was taken care of, which made it all so easy and relaxing. A perfect base for exploring Franschhoek – we’ll absolutely be back!
