The Bay Resort

We stayed here for two days. The location is great, and the view of the bay is absolutely amazing. Unfortunately, our experience was overshadowed by several serious issues. The bathroom was dirty, and the bed was broken. There was a post and a nail sticking out of the bed frame, which my daughter unfortunately got cut on the first day we arrived. She was bleeding badly, so I went to the front desk and asked for a first-aid kit. They gave me one and told me to take it upstairs, but when I opened it, it was completely empty except for a few Band-Aids. i went back downstairs and explained that I needed peroxide or something to properly clean and treat the wound. They did not have any, and there was no apology or real concern shown for the situation. I had to leave the hotel and go to a store myself to purchase supplies to treat my daughter’s injury.The front desk employee also said he would send maintenance upstairs to address the broken bed, but never came. while the location and bay view are excellent, the cleanliness, safety issues, and especially the lack of communication and professionalism from the staff made this a very disappointing stay. The fact that my daughter was injured by a dangerous condition in the room and that the staff showed little urgency or concern was particularly troubling. Unfortunately, based on our experience, the staff appeared very disorganized and incompetent. There was another issue with checking out but this post only allows 1500 characters.

Had a few items missing from our room- body wash , sheets , blanket . Staff was super helpful. Plenty of parking. Everything is in walking distance. Would stay again.

The property is dated and old (my mattress totally sagged), but the location is great and the staff was so nice. For an extra fee you can check in early. I had chose a bay side room and the view could not be beat. The location was great and we walked to the beach and bars.

We booked our stay pretty late after our Airbnb cancelled the day before. I stayed on the Bayside near the pool with my daughters. Our efficiency room was near the pool and we could see the bay which was nice. We paid nearly $500 for it a night so I was surprised to find a beetle on my pillow when we arrived. Was worried it was a bedbug but it was not after a quick google search. Otherwise the tv didn't really work and it was a pretty basic room for the price. There was a stove and kitchenette which is a nice feature. We were walking distance to the beach so that was nice. I'd recommend staying here if you are really wanting to be near the beach and the bay- I would say the accommodations were ok. Lots of folks had pets which was fun to see.
