The inn was clean and affordable, but a few things could be improved. The bathroom door lock was broken, which might be an issue for families or friends, and the room had a faint smell, like cigarette smoke, despite the carpet looking clean. On the plus side, it’s pet-friendly, and one pet stays free-great!

We were very grateful to find anything with availability in the area, but we didn't have time to do much research ahead of time. Unfortunately the hotel is right next door to an "adult" store and not much more. We were also disappointed to find out that they don't serve breakfast anymore since COVID (3 yrs ago). There is a dunkin donuts close by, but unless that is all you want, you will have to drive a bit to get breakfast. The room was older and not cleaned very well. We had trouble with the neighbors smoking marijuana in the next room. We reported it to the front desk, but I am not so sure what they can actually do about it. There was a refrigerator in our room that we filled with breakfast foods, but no matter that we changed the temperature, all of our food froze solid. On the plus side, the front desk attendant that checked us in was very kind and welcoming, which we really appreciated.

I love staying here its very clean , great coffee in the lobby and the staff is friendly, the price is great and they are very quick to check you in and get you to your room, and Fairfield is a beautiful area.everything is just hassle free and thats exactly how i like it. There also a restaurant on the property named micheal Angelos and they specialized in brick oven pizza.I have nothing bad to say about this place.

Dear Expedia Customer Service, I am writing to formally lodge a complaint about a highly distressing experience my family and I endured during our stay at the Red Roof Inn FairFeild, which we booked through your platform. Our stay was from December 30, 2024, to January 1, 2025. During this time, we were trapped in the hotel’s elevator on three separate occasions. These incidents caused significant panic and anxiety for my family and severely affected my mother, who suffers from claustrophobia. This repeated failure of essential amenities not only disrupted our stay but also resulted in emotional distress for everyone involved. Given the severity of the situation, I am requesting Expedia’s assistance in securing full compensation for our stay as well as a travel voucher to accommodate my entire family at a different property in the future. I waited from 9-12am waiting because what they did not mention on the website , I paid for the room on Expedia & I get there and they said something bout a new policy and that I needed a 100 more which should’ve been put on the website , not to mention it was disgustingly dirty .. Like beyond words elevator didn’t work , Had to use stairs hall way smell like urine , The staff was not polite .. WORSE EXPERIENCE EVER

Worse place visited in my life ,never again so dirty and disgusting!!!!!!!! Room carpet was so dirty look like have a years without cleaning, stairs on the back so dirty. They need seriously thinking to close the business and do some remodeling work !!!

The room smelled like SOUR MOP! I had to spray perfume just to kill the smell! The wall paper was hanging off the walls; the carpet smelled like OLD DIRTY SOCKS and the bathroom smelled like cover up urine with stained countertops. They take GREAT pictures but when you get there - it’s another scary world! The parking lots are very dark - unsafe for a woman; so I parked under the tandem.

The hallways stunk like pot. The bathroom needed to be redone. You could see the multiple patch tile jobs. The chair was like sitting on plywood. The lobby needs to be brighten up. Bad first impression.

I booked a King Suite (with Jetted bath tub) for 2 days. The spot was clean and well carpeted with amenities of a 2 Star hotel amenities. BUT THE JET TUB was not in the best working condition with the switch on/off button not working. I felt over-charged and would be seeking some refund if this post gets to the owner/manger, cuz i never found one on the property! Please reach out and I'd change my comments and absolve!🙏

I booked the room for the hot tub so i ca. Relax hot tub did not work i called front office the guy tried to get jets to turn on after sticking his hand into the clean water i had just filled tub with and nothing. Hot tub didnt work. Red roof in did absolutely nothing about this after paying for a room just for that hot tub.

The room was clean, though someone's leftover dinner was still in the fridge. The room was on the corner near the highway, so traffic noise was a bit problematic. (We live on a rural road, where such noise is minimal.)

The property was ok, not kept up with very well, but the room was clean. The elevator was down during our stay and our TV didn’t work on the second night. We asked to get it looked at but nothing ever got fixed.

This room was good for a short or last minute trip. Me and my wife stayed here for a last minute trip for the 4th of July. The room was clean and bed was made nicely. The shower was also has good space and nice modern design. It did smell like cigarettes when I entered the outside hall way. Felt a bit run down like that hotel in hangover 2 in Thailand. Staff was great though. Easy to check in. Over all good hotel.

Staff was incredibly hostile to my friends and I while checking in. There is nothing online indicating that 18 year olds could not book here, but we were told by staff that we would only be let in because we had already paid and they didn’t offer refunds, but they then admitted that they knew their website allowed people to book at 18. If you only want to rent to people 21 , you need to make that clear online, not harass your guests after their arrival. We will definitely not be booking here again.

We had a comfortable stay. Clean room and bathroom. Had trouble with coffee maker and television, but they were taken care of right away. The woman behind the desk was very courteous.

The shower head was broken. Once we turned it on, wouldn't go off. Could't change of cold. Called and was told maintenance was on the way, waited over 90 minutes and still never came. Had to leave that morning without showers. Then front desk argued thatvthey sent someone when they did not.

I waited from 9-12am waiting because what they did not mention on the website , I paid for the room on Expedia & I get there and they said something bout a new policy and that I needed a 100 more which should’ve been put on the website , not to mention it was disgustingly dirty .. Like beyond words elevator didn’t work , Had to use stairs hall way smell like urine , The staff was not polite .. WORSE EXPERIENCE EVER

The pics don’t do it justice. First, it’s located next to an adult shop, not great for families. Second, the property pictures you saw online won’t be a positive match. Downgrade by half and expect less.

We were very grateful to find anything with availability in the area, but we didn't have time to do much research ahead of time. Unfortunately the hotel is right next door to an "adult" store and not much more. We were also disappointed to find out that they don't serve breakfast anymore since COVID (3 yrs ago). There is a dunkin donuts close by, but unless that is all you want, you will have to drive a bit to get breakfast. The room was older and not cleaned very well. We had trouble with the neighbors smoking marijuana in the next room. We reported it to the front desk, but I am not so sure what they can actually do about it. There was a refrigerator in our room that we filled with breakfast foods, but no matter that we changed the temperature, all of our food froze solid. On the plus side, the front desk attendant that checked us in was very kind and welcoming, which we really appreciated.

I chose the chain of hotel specifically in this town because I couldn’t find one bad review. A few stated things were dated but clean. Unfortunately the first night I arrived, I found my room to be very dirty, bed sheets and pillows were visibly dirty, including underneath the fitted sheet. The carpet was in a state I did not feel comfortable walking around even in socks. There was still food in the fridge from the previous occupant. And the shower stunk. I left a note for housekeeping and when I returned it was visibly cleaner and smelled much better. I appreciated that effort. I do not enjoy traveling a whole lot because I prefer my own bed but I can say these mattresses were alright. So overall, it did the job but I would never give it a 5 star rating,

Since it was raining, we ran to enter through a side door that leads to the stairs going up to the second-floor room. My suggestion is that those stairs need maintenance or cleaning. However, the stay was good overall, so I will continue to visit the hotel. Thank you.

This place smelled bad. It was so overwhelming that after speaking with the front desk (who agreed but were unable to refund me) I went back to my room packed up my stuff and left. TV didn't work. Nobody seemed to be able to help. I understand it was a last-minute affordable hotel however it did have a 7.2 rating. Definitely did not live up to the hype. I'd recommend sleeping in your car rather than spending money in at this place

Room was on the cleaner side but there was falling plaster and large cracks in the ceiling, the paint was missing from large patches of the bathroom and entrance door. The whole 3rd.floor smelled like curry so even though cooking is not allowed they let it happen. The beds squeak like a clown horn and had my kods and me laughing and didnt bother us probably because of that but if i was alone it would keep me up. Front Desk kept asking the same questions differently. It was weird. They were trying to give me only one key, cheaply. I tried to get coffee but you can smell the dirty urns and the creamer expired the day before. It did feel safe enough to leave the car and Dunkin right next door was nice
