Swan House Tea Room Bed & Breakfast

Room smelt damp, bed not very comfortable. Breakfast was nice though and breakfast ladies were lovely

This place wasn’t what we hoped for so we didn’t stay. The room was not as big as it seemed on photos, no room to put our suitcases out. Room was dated and doors opened out onto parking lot. Very dark, no lights outside and muddy from a water main break. To make matters worse, a policeman knocked on door to say there had been an armed robbery nearby and offender was seen nearby. Very scary and unnerving. We decided we couldn’t stay and found another hotel. Swan House were not willing to refund. Hotels.com did give us key cash of $50 for trouble.

Excellent service and very comfortable room Martin the host was very friendly and nothing was to much trouble We only stayed 4 nights but would have liked to stay longer if we had the time if only for the great breakfast WE WILL BE BACK Les & Genny. Southampton
