Plus side: clean, modern, with a kitchen (had all supplies we needed), were able to use the laundry, comfy beds, and friendly responsive staff (Kenny). Could use: a better shower curtain (bathroom floor got quite wet), better bedside reading lamps (had to use the overhead lights to read in bed which wasn't great), and 2 luggage racks (not convenient place to put out suitcases while we needed to get in them). Thanks!

My mom and I had the perfect stay at Kinloch Ainort Apartments! The hotel is situated in a picturesque setting on a sheep farm and is a 15 minute drive to Broadford which has shops and restaurants and is also less than a 45 minute drive from almost everything on the Isle of Skye. The host, Kenny, was very responsive and helpful upon check-in. The hotel room was clean, well designed and had all the amenities you could need, the available laundry was also a nice bonus! We’ll definitely be staying here again upon returning to Scotland!

Definitely a gem! The room, kitchen and bath are very nice. It is a 20-30 minute drive to a nearby town, but you can't ask for better accommodations.

Staying here was my favorite part of our vacation. The room and kitchen is clean and welcoming. The laundry facilities were wonderful. The views from the full wall windows are amazing. The owners are very nice to communicate with. To get here we rented a car from Skye car rentals at the Kyle of Lochalsh side of the bridge. I was scared to drive on the left but I highly recommend driving on Skye. You can get more places in car and the drivers there are very considerate if you want to drive slow, you can move to the side or they will pass you. All in all this stay at Kinloch Airnort was an 11/10!

The Kinloch Ainort Apartments were a joy - so peaceful with the sheep grazing and the quiet of the area. The apartments appear to be brand new. They are spacious and have everything you will need for a great stay. The beds were comfy and the shower was hot! We traveled to Broadford (15 minutes or so away) to get groceries at the CoOp. We also enjoyed a really good pizza at Cafetesia there. After visiting busy Portree on our trip around the Isle we are glad we chose a quieter place!

So caution at night and or when its raining is key. Also it is attached to a sheep barn. Which really isnt a problem since we neither heard nor smelt sheep. It was a very unique experience. It was not easy to find, but it was worth it because we had a very clean place to stay right on the water with gorgeous views. Kenny was there to help us check in and give us a lot of information about what to do in the area.

This place was amazing and exceeded expectations! The views were out of this world and a bonus is that it is essentially a sheep farm so lots of sheepys around as well. The room was great and bed was comfy - only suggestion would be to add some shelf space in bathroom and shower for toiletries.

This place is the perfect location to see so many things in Skye, beautiful drive not too long to Dunvegan castle, Portree and the fairy pools. Also the town nearby has groceries and restaurants. The place itself is wonderful, fully up to date and has everything you need, just beautiful. The bed was comfortable and the views were amazing, sheep and all. Was excellent!

Property was amazing! Such a wonderful and unique experience with amazing views! Everyone was super helpful and the room itself is also very nice! There's nothing like waking up to the view of Loch, mountains and sheep! Would definitely recommend!

Hi the setting is excellent and quite unique. you are down by the lochside, with the hills in the background. We met Kenny (the owner) who was very helpful during our stay. Callum and Penny.

It was a very unique experience. It was not easy to find, but it was worth it because we had a very clean place to stay right on the water with gorgeous views. Kenny was there to help us check in and give us a lot of information about what to do in the area.

My mom and I had the perfect stay at Kinloch Ainort Apartments! The hotel is situated in a picturesque setting on a sheep farm and is a 15 minute drive to Broadford which has shops and restaurants and is also less than a 45 minute drive from almost everything on the Isle of Skye. The host, Kenny, was very responsive and helpful upon check-in. The hotel room was clean, well designed and had all the amenities you could need, the available laundry was also a nice bonus! We’ll definitely be staying here again upon returning to Scotland!

Beautiful accommodation in a remote area with plenty of privacy. There’s only other two other apartments and the parking situation is ideal as well. We had a few run ins with some bugs in the bathroom but I guess that’s what happens when you’re in nature lol. Just 25 minutes from town.

A lovely quiet location for a short getaway. The apartment is well appointed. Guests need to arrive prepared, as the nearest shops are quite a drive away. However this was made clear in the communication prior to arrival, so was not an issue. The location is a good jumping off point to explore The Isle of Skye. We would stay again

The Kinloch Ainort Apartments were a joy - so peaceful with the sheep grazing and the quiet of the area. The apartments appear to be brand new. They are spacious and have everything you will need for a great stay. The beds were comfy and the shower was hot! We traveled to Broadford (15 minutes or so away) to get groceries at the CoOp. We also enjoyed a really good pizza at Cafetesia there. After visiting busy Portree on our trip around the Isle we are glad we chose a quieter place!

Above all this was a great place to stay. Quiet, clean, spacious. Plus there is a laundry room that is available to use. Big plus! I would definitely stay here again. Having said that the location should be better described. The road leading to the apartments is about a mile from the main road and it has a few major potholes. So caution at night and or when its raining is key. Also it is attached to a sheep barn. Which really isnt a problem since we neither heard nor smelt sheep. Just dont be suprised when you drive up to what looks like a shed. Again, a great and comfortable place to stay.

This place is the perfect location to see so many things in Skye, beautiful drive not too long to Dunvegan castle, Portree and the fairy pools. Also the town nearby has groceries and restaurants. The place itself is wonderful, fully up to date and has everything you need, just beautiful. The bed was comfortable and the views were amazing, sheep and all. Was excellent!

We had the most wonderful stay! Location was perfect with incredible views of the mountains, waterfalls in the distance, lake and sheep grazing right outside our yard. Peaceful and relaxing. Close to Sligachan bridge, and 30 mins away from Portree. Loved our stay here. Selection of coffee was nice in the morning and full kitchen to cook our own breakfast and dinner. Hosts were warm and friendly and even allowed us to use their laundry to refresh halfway on our trip, thank you! Recommend booking for multiple nights to really appreciate being so close to nature. We will be back.

The panoramic view from the apartment was spectacular. The apartment was clean and comfortable with a great kitchen. The fact that you have access to laundry facilities is so helpful. The communication is great - hosts are very responsive. Location is also excellent!

It was great! So relaxing being out in the country. Not hard to find especially with the host providing some helpful hints. We enjoyed our stay and got refreshed for the rest of the trip. Laundry was awesome. 3 washers and 3 dryers.

It was a nice flat, with goog location, allthough it was a bit out in the countryside. The only thing, the room missed, was a copple of good chairs to sit in :-)
