This camp is very basic, for people who have not camped before it might be a big experience..... there is absolutely no shade, so if you arrive and it is hot.... it is unbearable. We took the chairs from our tent and sat down in the dry creek bed in the shade of the trees until it cooled down a bit. We are experienced campers and used to remote sites, so found it comfy, toilets and showers were clean, beds were great... It has so much potential to be a really great site but just feels like the tents have been put in the area.... tracks are a little dodgy between tents so take a torch or your phone.... A central rotunda or open shed with a camp kitchen and some shade would be amazing.. There is no food or cooking facilities on site.... so you need to byo something that doesnt require cooking or go into the local town which has a couple of restaurants and a decent little supermarket. It was fire restrictions when we were there so no camp fires for cooking.... but there are also no supplies to do so if you could... There was also no one on site at all to greet or assist.. find your name on a board and go to your tent.... Enjoyed the spot and experience.... but can see why it was a lot for some people...

The idea of this property is pretty cool. But it completely misses the mark! The bath house was out of water! The heaters all had empty propane tanks! It dropped to 47 degrees and there was no heat or electricity. There is no staff on site. When another renter showed up their tent zipper was broken and no one returned their call so they left. Another tent completely collapsed. It’s next to a highway so it’s noisy. I would not recommend this property to anyone!

My first Glamping experience! It was exactly as I had hoped, and imagined it to be. The only downside was there were no showers available, and the communal fire pits were a bit of a walk from my tent. The shared fire does promote socializing with fellow campers. Tips for future campers: bring firewood, and a small propane heater for your tent if it’s cold at night. And flashlights!

After booking with no refund, got an email from the place stating that there is nobody at the desk and 4WD vehicle is required to access the site. On arrival, road was flooded, postings of room assignments were not legible and there was no map at facility. No email sent regarding tent assignment. Completely muddy site with cold showers. Nobody to contact. No response when I reached out via email with concerns, no refund given-did not even end up spending the night because I could not find the tent and there was nowhere else open so had to sleep in the car. Awful experience. NOT GLAMPING. Not worth the price even if it had not been flooded and got assigned accomodation.

It's a cute rustic place to stay. There was no breakfast or supper offered as stated online. You should eat before you arrive. There is a shower in two of the bathrooms. Not heat.

Beautiful! Our glamping adventure was such a treat. Would 10/10 go back! This location is definitely a good choice if you’re looking for a bit more of an upscale camping trip (with good sleep!) 4wheel drive recommended to enter the campsite. The water was not high at all so we were able to get in without car trouble (4th of July Weekend). The parking lot was not far from our tent and it was easy to find and carry our stuff from the car. Yes this is still camping - so be prepared and come packed with your usual necessities (towels, additional chairs if wanted, foot mat, slides for the shower, etc.) Growing up camping I never expect to have a working shower so that was a plus and so awesome to have after a long day of hiking Bryce Canyon. The water was hot and the bathrooms were clean. The bed was soooooo comfortable and we slept great! Sheets and pillows clean. Bring a lamp, they provide 2 of them but we used our own since it was brighter. The host was very sweet and even offered us some coal to cook our chicken in the charcoal grill they provided since we didn’t have any. There’s multiple shared fire pits so if you plan to use those bring firewood. Thank you wander camp!!

Is was my first time ever glamping. The place is nice but there's some key aspects that need improvement. The night we stayed in rained several times. There were several leaks inside our tent that not only wet the floor but the beds as well. The main zipper was broken not fully closing the tent. At the showers, we had to keep the cord pulled down because water wouldn't keep coming out. It was very muddy, we saw that it wasn't only hard for us to walk but to other guests as well, almost to the point of falling. The tents do have everything you need for a night.

The site was in a beautiful area. However, the tents were kind of dirty, the showers did not work either day, and the toilets were extremely smelly. Finally, directions to the site were very poor and it was extremely hard to find the location.

Extremely dirty facilities. floor broken in showers, toilets, showers, sinks dirty (clearly not been cleaned for weeks). Sheets on bed clean, had a smell which indicated they hadn’t been washed well. Track going into the camp was extremely ‘rough’ not suitable for a normal size car.

A must stay for a comfortable night of sleep. Beds are so warm and soft. Bathrooms were nice and clean. Just 20 outside Bryce Canyon. Be sure to look up at night at state of into the clear and full view of the milky way! It's absolutely gorgeous and will leave you in awe. Will absolutely be staying here again!

Dirty, noisy and disappointing. Cold showers and no drinking water. (Or do stay but go prepared.) Arrived after a day hiking in Bryce Canyon. Nobody there to meet us, contrary to the arrival instructions. Found our way across a very uneven site to our tent. Basic, bed, chairs, side tables. The tent was dirty, with mud across the floor and puddles of water. The bed had somebody else’s hair all over it and the sheets did not look or smell clean. The shower and toilet block was dirty and the showers cold. There’s a lot of noise from the nearby highway. We left at daybreak. If you’re going to stay here, take water, towels, sleeping bag liners and be prepared for last minute cancellation if the river is up. (Expedia customer service been really helpful with all of this, thanks team.)

Great location - about a 20 min drive from Bryce. Tents are in poor condition though. Sheets weren’t entirely clean. Our tent only closed from the outside and not the inside because the indoor zipper was missing. As we prepared for bed, the outdoor zipper came unhooked from the outdoor lining and we were unable to reattach it. We called and texted customer support, but they told us we were SOL because it was 11pm. We slept with the flaps open and swinging all night in the desert cold until we migrated to the car. No refund offered and no one checked in with us in the morning. Lots of wildlife on the road at night. Drive slowly.

The beds were comfortable in the tent. It was not as spacious as it looked online. It was very limited in amenities. It rained overnight and the mud on the pathways to the parking lot and bathrooms was almost impossible to navigate.

Great spot! Comfy bed! And we stayed surprisingly warm in those tents for late September. They use quality bedding! Don’t forget your towel! Loved the wildlife and the sunrises.

We had tempered expectations before our stay based on several reviews we had read prior to our visit. We stayed at Wander Camp Bryce Canyon on Friday (9/20/24) and here’s what we found. Surprisingly easy to find, you can literally see the tents from the main road. The turn off the road is pretty small but it’s the only one there. There is a small stream/trickle to drive over as you make your way to the actual parting lot. We had no issue at all in a 2WD Charger but I will say with a significant amount of rain prior to your visit it could be tricky. Check-in was fine as the host was right there when we pulled in. She brought us to our tent and provided us with an extra blanket. Most of the tents are clearly labeled but there were a couple that weren’t (including ours) so if you show up after the sun goes down or after the host has left it may be hard to find your tent. The King tent was slightly smaller than it appeared in the pictures but it was big enough, bed was plenty comfortable and blankets were warm. The communication was good as we received a text message early in the day letting us know which tent was ours, then we received an email giving us very specific instructions on how to find the property. Bathrooms were decent. Overall we loved our experience, my only regret was not bringing warmer clothes as it was considerably colder there than at Zion where we stayed for most of our trip. Remember you’re staying in a tent in the desert, don’t expect too much.

Bathrooms were decent. Overall we loved our experience, my only regret was not bringing warmer clothes as it was considerably colder there than at Zion where we stayed for most of our trip. Remember you’re staying in a tent in the desert, don’t expect too much.

There was no host on arrival, which we knew. Though we arrived to a parking lot full of trash, not welcoming at all! Moreover the following morning there was no water available, thus no functioning toilets and showers!!

Amazing. They need to communicate quicker and earlier and better. I had questions: no response for too long. They sent me a text the day of saying I needed 4wd, which I didn’t have and it woulda been too late anyway. They sent me an email, which I skimmed because I am busy, that talked about dining but was not for our site. Besides the communication issues. We LOVED our experience.

Lovely high end camping. Very comfortable beds with warm down duvets. Very close to Tropic for any amenities. Staff is very helpful when on site in the evenings. Great place to feel like you are away from. It all but close to parks and town. Star gazing is fabulous here.

Address on Hotels.com was inaccurate. The host didn’t advise that you need an all wheel drive or similar vehicle to get to the site. Host argued that they “sent specific instructions 1 hour before check in” but the text message was a link to the other instructions which the host did not indicate was a link.

After booking with no refund, got an email from the place stating that there is nobody at the desk and 4WD vehicle is required to access the site. On arrival, road was flooded, postings of room assignments were not legible and there was no map at facility. No email sent regarding tent assignment. Completely muddy site with cold showers. Nobody to contact. No response when I reached out via email with concerns, no refund given-did not even end up spending the night because I could not find the tent and there was nowhere else open so had to sleep in the car. Awful experience. NOT GLAMPING. Not worth the price even if it had not been flooded and got assigned accomodation.

On the day of our arrival the small trickle of a stream that needed to be crossed had turned in to a flash flood. Reservations were canceled for that night and the following as well. So we only saw the camp from across the stream, so we can’t really comment on cleanliness etc. . Communication was efficient. Just didn’t realize that I have to go through this process of getting a refund.

Great off the grid camp for a quick getaway. The beds were super comfortable & having solar lights to mark the paths to the tents was extremely helpful. Stargazing at nigh was a true treat. Check the weather conditions before you book - The access road to the property was through a stream - due to a flash flood the week before it was in disrepair - we wouldn't have been able to reach the camp without an SUV

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. DO NOT STAY HERE. My friend and I had booked our night stay here after our Bryce Canyon trip as the location seems to be in good proximity (possibly the only good thing I could say). We show up after reading reviews that the road to get to the camp is horrendous and there is a sign in front of us to please proceed ahead with caution. What we see in front of us after pulling onto a dirt road is a river running through the road and the camp about a quarter of a mile up ahead. The river seemingly pretty shallow and without signs of it being closed, my friend and I proceed with our rental car, only to find out it is not shallow. We get our car to the other side ALSO to find out camp is CLOSED without a person in sight and now our car is stuck on the other side, unable to cross back across the river to leave. My friend and I had to walk down a main highway, without service, to find someone to kindly take us in to town to see an EMAIlL, and only an EMAIL, saying camp is closed. When the company was called, they were less than helpful, requiring our friend and I to call a tow company ourselves, which Wander Camp promised to reimburse us for. After a ride back to the car from 1 of the workers, hours later, dark out and storming, we were able to get the car out. Wander Camp has since been avoiding our calls (I am almost sure they blocked my number) and have told me lies that other staff members have said were false. It is a SCAM.

I arrived without notice that flooding had washed out the access road . I received 1 email and text welcoming me to my stay. When I called the owner she didn’t want to refund me my $. She sent me to my booking agent to resolve the issue. I have yet to resolve it as I’m away from home . I had to book and pay for emergency accommodation that night. Communication had to be better all around.

Beautiful! Our glamping adventure was such a treat. Would 10/10 go back! This location is definitely a good choice if you’re looking for a bit more of an upscale camping trip (with good sleep!) 4wheel drive recommended to enter the campsite. The water was not high at all so we were able to get in without car trouble (4th of July Weekend). The parking lot was not far from our tent and it was easy to find and carry our stuff from the car. Yes this is still camping - so be prepared and come packed with your usual necessities (towels, additional chairs if wanted, foot mat, slides for the shower, etc.) Growing up camping I never expect to have a working shower so that was a plus and so awesome to have after a long day of hiking Bryce Canyon. The water was hot and the bathrooms were clean. The bed was soooooo comfortable and we slept great! Sheets and pillows clean. Bring a lamp, they provide 2 of them but we used our own since it was brighter. The host was very sweet and even offered us some coal to cook our chicken in the charcoal grill they provided since we didn’t have any. There’s multiple shared fire pits so if you plan to use those bring firewood. Thank you wander camp!!

We had tempered expectations before our stay based on several reviews we had read prior to our visit. We stayed at Wander Camp Bryce Canyon on Friday (9/20/24) and here’s what we found. Surprisingly easy to find, you can literally see the tents from the main road. The turn off the road is pretty small but it’s the only one there. There is a small stream/trickle to drive over as you make your way to the actual parting lot. We had no issue at all in a 2WD Charger but I will say with a significant amount of rain prior to your visit it could be tricky. Check-in was fine as the host was right there when we pulled in. She brought us to our tent and provided us with an extra blanket. Most of the tents are clearly labeled but there were a couple that weren’t (including ours) so if you show up after the sun goes down or after the host has left it may be hard to find your tent. The King tent was slightly smaller than it appeared in the pictures but it was big enough, bed was plenty comfortable and blankets were warm. The communication was good as we received a text message early in the day letting us know which tent was ours, then we received an email giving us very specific instructions on how to find the property. This camp is very basic, for people who have not camped before it might be a big experience..... there is absolutely no shade, so if you arrive and it is hot.... it is unbearable. We took the chairs from our tent and sat down in the dry creek bed in the shade of the trees until it cooled down a bit. We are experienced campers and used to remote sites, so found it comfy, toilets and showers were clean, beds were great... It has so much potential to be a really great site but just feels like the tents have been put in the area.... tracks are a little dodgy between tents so take a torch or your phone.... A central rotunda or open shed with a camp kitchen and some shade would be amazing.. There is no food or cooking facilities on site.... so you need to byo something that doesnt require cooking or go into the local town which has a couple of restaurants and a decent little supermarket. It was fire restrictions when we were there so no camp fires for cooking.... but there are also no supplies to do so if you could... There was also no one on site at all to greet or assist.. find your name on a board and go to your tent.... Enjoyed the spot and experience.... but can see why it was a lot for some people...

We arrived really late so it was very dark and hard to find our tent. Although there were light paths, a map of the area would have been very helpful. Our tent (22) was way in the back of the property. Be aware that bugs (moth, beetle, grasshopper or mantis) will get inside your tent especially when you have the light on bright inside. They have a community picnic table and grill. Best part of the experience was waking up in tuned with nature and the bed is so comfortable! I shall say, our stay was pretty decent.

Really enjoyed our stay at Wander Camp. Had two separate stays here, so stayed in two yurts. Gorgeous views. Quiet and safe. Friendly and helpful staff (got a free propane tank the first cold night for filling out a review). The beds were more comfortable than many hotels I've stayed in, truly soft and cozy! Just a really cool experience. The staff seems to work hard to keep the facilities clean. Very close drive to Bryce Canyon hikes and a few nearby restaurants (Showdowns and Pizza Place) Of our yurts, No. 2 was great. No. 14 was on bumpy terrain with a big dip on one side of the yurt that made that part pretty unusable so I'd try to avoid that one. On first night, bathrooms were fine. On second stay in the morning, lack of toilet paper and paper towels in many of the bathrooms.

My first Glamping experience! It was exactly as I had hoped, and imagined it to be. The only downside was there were no showers available, and the communal fire pits were a bit of a walk from my tent. The shared fire does promote socializing with fellow campers. Tips for future campers: bring firewood, and a small propane heater for your tent if it’s cold at night. And flashlights!

The water was not high at all so we were able to get in without car trouble (4th of July Weekend). The parking lot was not far from our tent and it was easy to find and carry our stuff from the car. Yes this is still camping - so be prepared and come packed with your usual necessities (towels, additional chairs if wanted, foot mat, slides for the shower, etc.) Growing up camping I never expect to have a working shower so that was a plus and so awesome to have after a long day of hiking Bryce Canyon. The water was hot and the bathrooms were clean. The bed was soooooo comfortable and we slept great! Sheets and pillows clean. Bring a lamp, they provide 2 of them but we used our own since it was brighter. The host was very sweet and even offered us some coal to cook our chicken in the charcoal grill they provided since we didn’t have any. There’s multiple shared fire pits so if you plan to use those bring firewood. Thank you wander camp!!
Beautiful! Our glamping adventure was such a treat. Would 10/10 go back! This location is definitely a good choice if you’re looking for a bit more of an upscale camping trip (with good sleep!) 4wheel drive recommended to enter the campsite. Great comfy beds and clean bathrooms/showers! Great staff. Easy drive to Bryce Canyon and good restaurants near. The stars are remarkable at night. Can’t wait to stay again!

Very easy to find..you can see it off the road. Check in was easy..they text’d us the tent number prior to arrival. The tent was clean. Bed was super comfy and warm. Bathrooms were clean..found wood and used it for the fire pit. The stars were amazing! Just looking up at the sky was so worth it!

Tents don’t have ventilation windows, so it was very hot early morning in early June. Bathroom pathways are not lot a lt night so it’s a bit difficult to go and be back to your tent in the middle of the night. Property access is a bit rough for Sedans. We only stayed 1 night out of the 2 booked. Other than that, beds/ linens are comfortable .

The host, AJ, met us as we drove up to the camp, with a warm welcome and doggie treats for our 2 pups. He was amazing in explaining how this unique location works. We are 'senior citizens' and haven't slept in a tent in decades, but the sleeping accommodations were wonderful - everything provided. We wondered how we would survive without electricity, but it was exactly what we needed. We got to spend such good quality time together without distractions. The camp is located just a few miles from Tropic out in the open, under the stars, and with a beautiful sunset and sunrise. The camp is very pet - friendly. Bathrooms were always clean. We look forward going back there someday.
