Chose this motel for the advertised activities for kids and families. Mermaid visit,nightly smores,games and activities at the "Kids Club daily. None of this was provided. Desk clerk didn't have a schedule or know anything about it. Finally saw the towel lady at the kids club and asked her. She said nothing was going to happen because they. Were short handed. . No food trucks either that were advertised..yes, they were setting there but never open.. We asked the desk clerk about the tropical storm and how to prepare He didn't know that either. Asked him about an emergency plan at the hotel,"That was above his pay grade.". It would have been nice to know that all of the amenities mentioned would not be provided. Especially since my 9 year old great grandson was looking forward. Breakfast 25$ a pop...not that good. Room nothing special small and only one smal plastic chair to set in. Hot tub scum all around the edge. We checked out on wed but was charged for Wed, Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Also BIG RAT running around the pool area.I wouldn't recommend it.!!!!!! The lights around the pool area are beautiful at night but that didn't makeup for all of the negatives. I expected better.

The staff was very nice especially housekeeping and the front desk. The grotto bar was only open for a few hours during our 4 day stay, the towel hut was closed all day for 2 days. The room and facilities were older but well maintained. Pool areas are very nice.

Our stay at the resort was very enjoyable! Comfortable bed, nice shower, nice and friendly staff, and we were able to relax! Unfortunately the weather was a but of a damper, but our stay was great! Hope to come back again in the future!

Rooms were spacious and clean. Balcony was a plus. A/C was noisy and food was expensive. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Pools were clean.
