This place is simply amazing! We had hopes of seeing a bear…and we saw several every day on property! And let’s talk about the view. It’s more than you can hope for and pictures don’t do it justice. The master bedroom is enormous. We had so much fun playing corn hole on the deck each night with that view and teens and adults were happy for the whole week and sad to leave. Rent this place!

The cabin was beautiful and had a lot of great amenities! The views are incredible and well worth the trek up the mountain! We cooked every morning and a few evenings in the large and well-stocked kitchen. The kids especially loved the hot tub, movie room, jukebox and all the games in the basement. We would definitely recommend staying at this cabin!

This cabin has everything you need and more. It is very spacious. Plenty of room to breathe and space for the kids to play. In our case for the kids and dogs to play. The kitchen is huge and has everything you need to cook. We did. The furniture throughout is comfortable and there is plenty of it.The master bedrooms are huge and the beds are comfy. There is plenty of blankets if needed. The gameroom and theater room were awesome! We enjoyed a few family movie nights in the comfy theater style recliners. The adults enjoyed pool and the jukebox. Loved the music collection. The kids enjoyed the airhockey and video gaming systems. The bunks in the game room were comfy and perfect for the kids. The entire cabin was beautifully decorated. Not overboard just enough. The decks are spacious and long. Plenty of sitting to look at those beautiful mountains. They are literally in your face at this cabin. The location is perfect. Away from the noise and tourist traps of downtown. It's quiet and so peaceful. We saw snow on the mountain tops the entire time. We also watched alot of people on the ziplines from the decks. We saw no bears on this trip. We had some weather while there. The roads to get there are fine. A little narrow in some parts but you are in the mountains. Take your time and it will be fine. Chris immediately responded to a few questions/concerns we had. It was a great stay. We will be back. We visit the Smokies often! You will not regret booking this cabin! Enjoy!

Our family, spanning three generations, found Cloud Dancer to be the perfect place to enjoy an extended holiday in the Smokies. Close enough to the attractions yet far enough away as to be a welcome retreat from the congestion and crowds. Stunning views from the rear veranda provided a peaceful back drop to enjoy an evening cocktail or a relaxing hot tub. Plenty of games for the kids and the home theater provided a fun family movie night. Bears emerging from the woods were always exciting to watch. The owners are attentive and responsive and clearly exhibit pride in their property.

Easily the best Mountain View’s we have had the pleasure of enjoying from the cabin! Cabin was clean and as advertised. We had an issue with the login on the tv and the owner responded to my email within a few minutes and gave us the remedy. The hot tub is getting close to needing an upgrade but we all enjoyed it. It was a great experience watching the zip lines running through the mountains from the deck. I would highly recommend Cloud Dancer to anyone who is looking for amazing Mountain View’s!

The cabin was exactly like the pictures - the views were awe inspiring! We especially loved the huge wrap around balcony. The game room was awesome and we enjoyed movie night in the theater room. We did see a few bears too! Overall we highly recommend Cloud Dancer! The hosts provided such great detailed info that everything was a breeze!

The mountain view was spectacular! Beautifully decorated open concept cabin with plenty of space for everyone. So many areas for family to relax and have fun. The movie theater was used nightly. We were always on the deck just relaxing, enjoying the view or reading. The game room was fun, except the jukebox didn't work and a ball and chalk was missing for the pool table. The bedrooms were very nice and comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked with most everything you'll need. I loved sitting in the living room with the fireplace on and looking at the mountains. I felt very relaxed and happy to be there. We grilled out a couple times with no bear sightings. The porch swing out front was a nice place to catch up and enjoy the outdoors. I would definitely stay here again. You won't be disappointed.

We take a yearly vacation with my parents, my brother and his family and myself, my husband and son every January. Cloud Dancer was an awesome cabin with more than enough room for the 10 of us. The teenagers loved the game room and movie room and the juke box was a hit. We had an issue with being able to turn the hot tub on, but called Chris and he was more than helpful. We found the problem, which was due to a breaker being put in upside down and it worked great after that. The view was beautiful, so it stands to reason that the road up was a bit curvy and quite steep at times. Because of the steep roads and the impending snow storm, we opted to leave on Saturday night instead of Monday morning. We were pretty bummed, but based on the snow that came in, we made the right decision. We hated leaving early, because it was such an awesome cabin plus, it was hard to leave knowing the cost per night of the cabin, however, I guess that’s the chance you take when booking at the top of a mountain in January. We may change our annual January trip to a hopefully less snowing time of year next year!

You WILL NOT beat this view!! The moment you walk into Cloud Dancer you will be in awe of the incredible view of the Smoky Mountain National Park. My favorite thing about this cabin is that you can enjoy the breathtaking view from almost every room. We had 9 people in our group (4 adults, 5 kids ages 8, 7, 6, 6, and 4) and had plenty of space. The kids had a great time in the basement game room and we enjoyed a couple movie nights in the theater room. The layout of the cabin was ideal for 2-3 families to stay together. We never felt cramped or crowded. We cooked most meals and found the kitchen to have just about everything we needed. We brought an air fryer and crock pot which definitely came in handy. One thing to note - you are provided with (very) limited number of dishwasher soap and pods, trash bags, kitchen towels and paper towels. They clearly communicate this prior to arriving, so we were sure to bring extras. If you're staying longer than 1-2 days, I would recommend you do the same. We had a run-in with a mama bear who decided to break the outdoor trash cage one night, I reached out to the owner who was responsive almost immediately. We also reached out to the neighborhood security who came to the cabin and helped us tremendously. The neighborhood is beautiful & quiet. After several bear sightings I didn't feel comfortable taking walks around the area, but it is a beautiful setting to do so.

Just the most amazing view of all the places we've stayed in the Smokies. There is so much room in the cabin, it is gorgeous, and smells like wood. The downstairs game room with jukebox was a blast. We loved watching a movie in the theater room and there is even a few sheves of movies if you forgot to bring any. We saw our first bear around the bend from the cabin on the side of the road. You can see the zipliners from the deck, which was neat. There are a couple of nearby cabins so you dont feel completely isolated, but you can't see them from the deck. Storms are fun to experience here but reach out right away if the lights flicker so someone can reset the hot tub or it will be cold by morning. There wasnt enough TP to last more than a day for two people, so bring supplies. Extremely fast response time for the most part - we made memories at this cabin we will never forget. You get what you pay for and this cabin was worth every penny. road, which was so cool! You definitely need to bring supplies

This cabin is by far our favorite and we plan to visit again. When you walk in you are greeted by the most beautiful view, more beautiful than the pictures. The back deck was my favorite spot to relax and read. On the days we decided not to venture out there was plenty in the cabin to keep our family entertained. We even got to see some bears on our first evening there. The cabin was clean and had just about everything you need.

Beautiful cabin that exceeded all of our expectations. Great location, magnificent views, extra clean, lot's of space. We've had good experiences with VRBO rentals in the past, but this property was the best by far. Truly was better than advertised.

Chris was so easy to work with - very organized and full of info about the cabin and the area. The cabin is well stocked, very clean and very well described. No surprises at all. The view is stunning and even though it's only 2 miles off the main road, it feels much more remote. The kids loved all of the basement games and we saw a giant bear while driving down the mountain one morning. Very pleased with the whole stay.

This cabin is extremely spacious for everyone to spread out and have their own space. It is well taken care of and very clean upon arrival. Chris, the host/owner, is available if something is wrong or goes wrong and will rectify it ASAP. This was our second stay at one of his 6 cabins, and we are about to book a third. We know when we book one of his cabins we will be satisfied even if it did cost a little more.

We had a fantastic stay at the Cloud Dancer. It was plenty of room for our party of 11 to spread out. Nice large bedrooms and having 4 full baths was great. Gorgeous peaceful views from the porches and the feel is very secluded. Kids and adults both enjoyed the game room!

We've stayed at multiple locations while visiting the Gatlinburg area, but this home and the incredible views are unbeatable! You're surrounded by nature and very private. It was fun to watch and cheer on those that ziplined from the deck. There were 6 adults, which worked perfectly for each of us to have our own bedroom and private bath. We've stayed at multiple locations while visiting the Gatlinburg area, but this home and the incredible views are unbeatable! You're surrounded by nature and very private. This is our second time staying in this home and it was just as much fun! The kids (6 of them, ages 8-17) had everything they needed downstairs with the movie room, air hockey and pool table. There was room for all 9 of us comfortably. The best part of this house though is the views!! As soon as you walk in through the door you are greeted with a wall of floor to ceiling windows facing the Smokies. I love sitting outside every morning in the rocking chairs with a fresh cup of coffee.

The mountain view was spectacular! Beautifully decorated open concept cabin with plenty of space for everyone. So many areas for family to relax and have fun. The movie theater was used nightly. We were always on the deck just relaxing, enjoying the view or reading. The game room was fun, except the jukebox didn't work and a ball and chalk was missing for the pool table. The bedrooms were very nice and comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked with most everything you'll need. I loved sitting in the living room with the fireplace on and looking at the mountains. I felt very relaxed and happy to be there. We grilled out a couple times with no bear sightings. The porch swing out front was a nice place to catch up and enjoy the outdoors. I would definitely stay here again. You won't be disappointed.

The view from the cabin is breathtaking. The cabin was spacious and had plenty of entertainment for all ages. I would come back in a heartbeat. The view made it hard to leave. Perfect family vacation.

You WILL NOT beat this view!! The moment you walk into Cloud Dancer you will be in awe of the incredible view of the Smoky Mountain National Park. My favorite thing about this cabin is that you can enjoy the breathtaking view from almost every room. We had 9 people in our group (4 adults, 5 kids ages 8, 7, 6, 6, and 4) and had plenty of space. The kids had a great time in the basement game room and we enjoyed a couple movie nights in the theater room. The layout of the cabin was ideal for 2-3 families to stay together. We never felt cramped or crowded. We cooked most meals and found the kitchen to have just about everything we needed. We brought an air fryer and crock pot which definitely came in handy. One thing to note - you are provided with (very) limited number of dishwasher soap and pods, trash bags, kitchen towels and paper towels. They clearly communicate this prior to arriving, so we were sure to bring extras. If you're staying longer than 1-2 days, I would recommend you do the same. We had a run-in with a mama bear who decided to break the outdoor trash cage one night, I reached out to the owner who was responsive almost immediately. We also reached out to the neighborhood security who came to the cabin and helped us tremendously. The neighborhood is beautiful & quiet. After several bear sightings I didn't feel comfortable taking walks around the area, but it is a beautiful setting to do so.

This cabin has everything you need and more. It is very spacious. Plenty of room to breathe and space for the kids to play. In our case for the kids and dogs to play. The kitchen is huge and has everything you need to cook. We did. The furniture throughout is comfortable and there is plenty of it.The master bedrooms are huge and the beds are comfy. There is plenty of blankets if needed. The gameroom and theater room were awesome! We enjoyed a few family movie nights in the comfy theater style recliners. The adults enjoyed pool and the jukebox. Loved the music collection. The kids enjoyed the airhockey and video gaming systems. The bunks in the game room were comfy and perfect for the kids. The entire cabin was beautifully decorated. Not overboard just enough. The decks are spacious and long. Plenty of sitting to look at those beautiful mountains. They are literally in your face at this cabin. The location is perfect. Away from the noise and tourist traps of downtown. It's quiet and so peaceful. We saw snow on the mountain tops the entire time. We also watched alot of people on the ziplines from the decks. We saw no bears on this trip. We had some weather while there. The roads to get there are fine. A little narrow in some parts but you are in the mountains. Take your time and it will be fine. Chris immediately responded to a few questions/concerns we had. It was a great stay. We will be back. We visit the Smokies often! You will not regret booking this cabin! Enjoy!

Chris was so easy to work with - very organized and full of info about the cabin and the area. The cabin is well stocked, very clean and very well described. No surprises at all. The view is stunning and even though it's only 2 miles off the main road, it feels much more remote. The kids loved all of the basement games and we saw a giant bear while driving down the mountain one morning. Very pleased with the whole stay.

Easily the best Mountain View’s we have had the pleasure of enjoying from the cabin! Cabin was clean and as advertised. We had an issue with the login on the tv and the owner responded to my email within a few minutes and gave us the remedy. The hot tub is getting close to needing an upgrade but we all enjoyed it. It was a great experience watching the zip lines running through the mountains from the deck. I would highly recommend Cloud Dancer to anyone who is looking for amazing Mountain View’s!

The cabin was exactly like the pictures - the views were awe inspiring! We especially loved the huge wrap around balcony. The game room was awesome and we enjoyed movie night in the theater room. We did see a few bears too! Overall we highly recommend Cloud Dancer! The hosts provided such great detailed info that everything was a breeze!

Absolutely amazing views. Saw bears daily. Small issue with alarm system and managirrs didn’t respond but actual owners were responsive when we communicated with them. You won’t regret booking this cabin!!!

This cabin is extremely spacious for everyone to spread out and have their own space. It is well taken care of and very clean upon arrival. Chris, the host/owner, is available if something is wrong or goes wrong and will rectify it ASAP. This was our second stay at one of his 6 cabins, and we are about to book a third. We know when we book one of his cabins we will be satisfied even if it did cost a little more.

We take a yearly vacation with my parents, my brother and his family and myself, my husband and son every January. Cloud Dancer was an awesome cabin with more than enough room for the 10 of us. The teenagers loved the game room and movie room and the juke box was a hit. We had an issue with being able to turn the hot tub on, but called Chris and he was more than helpful. We found the problem, which was due to a breaker being put in upside down and it worked great after that. The view was beautiful, so it stands to reason that the road up was a bit curvy and quite steep at times. Because of the steep roads and the impending snow storm, we opted to leave on Saturday night instead of Monday morning. We were pretty bummed, but based on the snow that came in, we made the right decision. We hated leaving early, because it was such an awesome cabin plus, it was hard to leave knowing the cost per night of the cabin, however, I guess that’s the chance you take when booking at the top of a mountain in January. We may change our annual January trip to a hopefully less snowing time of year next year!

This was a wonderful spring break trip for my family and our friends. The cabin is beautiful with plenty of room for everyone to spread out and plenty to do on a rainy day. The drive up is a small winding road that could be difficult to navigate in the dark, but once at the cabin the views are well worth it. Even on the rainy days the clouds around the mountains were pretty. We had a terrific time exploring and relaxing at Cloud Dancer.

We had a fantastic stay at the Cloud Dancer. It was plenty of room for our party of 11 to spread out. Nice large bedrooms and having 4 full baths was great. Gorgeous peaceful views from the porches and the feel is very secluded. Kids and adults both enjoyed the game room!

The view from this cabin is better than the pictures and the cabin itself exceeded expectations. Everything that was provided in the kitchen, hot tub, game room, etc. made things easy to use. Looking out from the deck at mountains across the horizon was the best part. The road getting up to the cabin is steep and narrow but you get used to it once you see where to go. I highly recommend staying at this cabin.

Our family, spanning three generations, found Cloud Dancer to be the perfect place to enjoy an extended holiday in the Smokies. Close enough to the attractions yet far enough away as to be a welcome retreat from the congestion and crowds. Stunning views from the rear veranda provided a peaceful back drop to enjoy an evening cocktail or a relaxing hot tub. Plenty of games for the kids and the home theater provided a fun family movie night. Bears emerging from the woods were always exciting to watch. The owners are attentive and responsive and clearly exhibit pride in their property.

PRIVATE FAMILY GET AWAY was excellent more than enough room for multi generational family stay with private separate multi masters making it very good for our group getaway, can’t beat the views or the privacy and still easy access to go into Gatlinburg within just a few minutes, highly recommended!

The cabin was more stunning than the pictures. and is well stocked with cooking supplies and tons of things to keep your family entertained. I do highly recommend checking the weather If you’re going in the winter. The drive up to the cabin is very steep and very narrow and I understand why they suggested you may need chains if it snows. We can’t wait to come back and stay again. My family fell in love with the mountains and the cabin!

The cabin was beautiful and had a lot of great amenities! The views are incredible and well worth the trek up the mountain! We cooked every morning and a few evenings in the large and well-stocked kitchen. The kids especially loved the hot tub, movie room, jukebox and all the games in the basement. We would definitely recommend staying at this cabin!

We also reached out to the neighborhood security who came to the cabin and helped us tremendously. The neighborhood is beautiful & quiet. After several bear sightings I didn't feel comfortable taking walks around the area, but it is a beautiful setting to do so.
You WILL NOT beat this view!! The moment you walk into Cloud Dancer you will be in awe of the incredible view of the Smoky Mountain National Park. My favorite thing about this cabin is that you can enjoy the breathtaking view from almost every room. We had 9 people in our group (4 adults, 5 kids ages 8, 7, 6, 6, and 4) and had plenty of space. The kids had a great time in the basement game room and we enjoyed a couple movie nights in the theater room. The layout of the cabin was ideal for 2-3 families to stay together. We never felt cramped or crowded. We cooked most meals and found the kitchen to have just about everything we needed. We brought an air fryer and crock pot which definitely came in handy. One thing to note - you are provided with (very) limited number of dishwasher soap and pods, trash bags, kitchen towels and paper towels. They clearly communicate this prior to arriving, so we were sure to bring extras. If you're staying longer than 1-2 days, I would recommend you do the same. We had a run-in with a mama bear who decided to break the outdoor trash cage one night, I reached out to the owner who was responsive almost immediately. We also reached out to the neighborhood security who came to the cabin and helped us tremendously. The neighborhood is beautiful & quiet. This cabin has everything you need and more. It is very spacious. Plenty of room to breathe and space for the kids to play. In our case for the kids and dogs to play. The kitchen is huge and has everything you need to cook. We did. The furniture throughout is comfortable and there is plenty of it.The master bedrooms are huge and the beds are comfy. There is plenty of blankets if needed. The gameroom and theater room were awesome! We enjoyed a few family movie nights in the comfy theater style recliners. The adults enjoyed pool and the jukebox. Loved the music collection. The kids enjoyed the airhockey and video gaming systems. The bunks in the game room were comfy and perfect for the kids. The entire cabin was beautifully decorated. Not overboard just enough. The decks are spacious and long. Plenty of sitting to look at those beautiful mountains. They are literally in your face at this cabin. The location is perfect. Away from the noise and tourist traps of downtown. It's quiet and so peaceful. We saw snow on the mountain tops the entire time. We also watched alot of people on the ziplines from the decks. We saw no bears on this trip. We had some weather while there. The roads to get there are fine. A little narrow in some parts but you are in the mountains. Take your time and it will be fine. Chris immediately responded to a few questions/concerns we had. It was a great stay. We will be back. We visit the Smokies often! You will not regret booking this cabin! Enjoy!

Beautiful, clean, lots of space, great kitchen and bar, fun game and movie rooms! Great view of the moutains and Zip liners were seen in a distance, nice hot tub and 3 levels of decks. Great internet service. Well stocked kitchen and nice size washer and dryer. All of our family had a great time!

Beautiful cabin that exceeded all of our expectations. Great location, magnificent views, extra clean, lot's of space. We've had good experiences with VRBO rentals in the past, but this property was the best by far. Truly was better than advertised.

Chris was so easy to work with - very organized and full of info about the cabin and the area. The cabin is well stocked, very clean and very well described. No surprises at all. The view is stunning and even though it's only 2 miles off the main road, it feels much more remote. The kids loved all of the basement games and we saw a giant bear while driving down the mountain one morning. Very pleased with the whole stay.

The mountain view was spectacular! Beautifully decorated open concept cabin with plenty of space for everyone. So many areas for family to relax and have fun. The movie theater was used nightly. We were always on the deck just relaxing, enjoying the view or reading. The game room was fun, except the jukebox didn't work and a ball and chalk was missing for the pool table. The bedrooms were very nice and comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked with most everything you'll need. I loved sitting in the living room with the fireplace on and looking at the mountains. I felt very relaxed and happy to be there. We grilled out a couple times with no bear sightings. The porch swing out front was a nice place to catch up and enjoy the outdoors. I would definitely stay here again. You won't be disappointed.

Cabin was beautiful and perfect for our annual family trip to the mountains. Not far fromGatlinburg and Pigeon Forge which have plenty of restaurants but no need to leave the cabin for meals as the kitchen is perfect to cook at home. Definitely recommend for a fun, family trip as well as a great place to getaway and enjoy the views and the mountains!

We rented the cabin to bring extended family together and a great time was had by all. The cabin has the most amazing and extremely private views. We could see people zip lining through the trees in the distance. We brought all of our food and even used the charcoal grill for steaks. We had all the kitchen essentials to make our meals and enjoy time together. We didn’t watch TV but the sets were big and had what you needed. The movie theater was cool-tested the sound and wished we had had time to watch a movie. We listened to the jukebox and played pool and ended our second night with a beautiful double rainbow. Beds were soooo comfortable as well as the pillows. The best ending was on our way out, we saw a mama bear and he cub crossing the road to the creek. It blew our mind away…..We will definitely stay here again. The hosts were super easy and the whole experience is going to be a memorable one!

Cabin was beautiful...loved all the ammenities and the gorgeous views! It was a nice space for the week for family to spread out and enjoy all three floors of the cabin. We ended up with a larger rental car so the roads leading to the cabin were interesting to navigate initially until we became familiar!

Incredible property! From the moment we walked in the front door it was breathtaking! The kitchen was huge, easily fits 4 people while meal prepping, tons of seating outside and inside, theater room was super cute, no dvds or dvd player so you will have to stream movies. Very solid home we couldn’t hear noise on different floors or in bedrooms, which was a plus. All the rooms were huge. Hot-tub was great and clean. Worst part was leaving the view of the mountains every day. Be prepared for the drive to the cabin it is up a mountains and nerve wracking at times even for the best drivers!

The cabin was everything advertised and more! We were in awe from the minute we pulled in the driveway in the dark and opened the front door. We woke up in the morning and saw the amazing view. What a place! It had everything we needed and kept our family entertained and comfortable. The worst part was that we only had one bear sighting!
