Alles ok. Sehr schöne, aber wohl eher kühle Lage an der rauen Steilküste nahe dem Hafen Puerto de las Nieves und der schönen Ortschaft Agaete. Spa überteuert. Pool sehr windausgesetzt.

Nice view and very calm hotel. Delicious food at the pool bar. Some odd restrictions on the all inclusive drink list, compared to other similar hotels.

The location was good. Walkable to Nieves where there’s a selection of shops ( need to buy water) or ferries to Tenerife. Parking on the roads nearby, no difficulties with that. Nice pool and adequate gym. Spa nice and recommend. The sofas and carpets need replacing, they look old and not very clean now. Otherwise rooms clean and bed comfortable. Good shower. The first evening meal was a scramble, too many guests per staff member. I couldn’t get a glass of wine, they were too busy:-( . Food was ok and on a couple of days pretty good. They ran out of black tea bags two mornings completely and plain yogurt also two out of our four mornings. Efficient check out.

Es gab zwar keinen Strand vor dem Hotel, man konnte aber schnell zu 3 Felsen-Bädern im Ort hinabsteigen. Der Service an der Rezeption und die Zimmerreinigung waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Im Restaurant waren die Servicekräfte sichtlich bemüht, waren aber in Stoßzeiten einfach zu wenige Personen. Das Restaurant hatte dann auch eher Kantinen-Flair. Die Essenauswahl war hingegen super bei guter Qualität. Die Größe des Pools war prima zum Schwimmen. Wir hatten das Auto in der Garage geparkt; sie ist etwas eng - war aber OK. Außerdem war die Sicht von der Rooftop-Bar auf den Sonnenuntergang und die Nachbarinsel Teneriffa grandios.

Very good hotel with excellent views over the cliff and beaches. The hotel is somewhat remote from the town and a steep climb back up. Food was ok but not the best I've had in a 4 star hotel. Vegetarian choices were available but not great for main courses. The terrace bar on the rooftop was great for drinks and watching the sunset but was taken over by a film crew for 3 days which was disappointing. Didn't try the spa. I would go again.

The most I like breakfast and dinner buffet, spa and views ftt try on the roof and balcony. I would like the water in the pool or jacuzzi were warmer or heated. Was a little chilly in May.

We had a lovely stay at Occidental Roca Negra. The hotel is peaceful with beautiful, quiet surroundings—perfect for relaxing. The spa and pool area were highlights, and the food was delicious with plenty of variety. Staff were friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. The only minor downside is that there isn’t much nearby in terms of shops or markets, but if you’re looking for a place to unwind and disconnect, this hotel is ideal.

It is a beautiful area and a nice hotel. Very limited options for meals around and the hotel does not have the most varied offerings. The room is spacious and clean. pool bar is under renovation. Breakfast was great in the buffet, dinner depends on the night on the buffet, options are limited in the rooftop area. Room serviced is advertised throughout the property but does not exist.

Très bel hôtel avec une vue incroyable dur la mer. Le séjour a été contrarié par la maintenance de la piscine qui a duré 4 jours sur les 6 jours de notre passage. Accès qu'à la moitié du bain. De plus l'état de propreté de cette piscine laisse à désirer, sol sale, carreaux cassés....

Hôtel très agréable , belle piscine, belle vue sur la mer, installation originale sur une coulée de lave prismée...Belle promenade le long de la mer jusqu'à Puerto Nieves en passant par les piscines naturelles.

A very nice and clean hotel with a beautiful view of the sea. The staff was always friendly and available at any time. The room was very clean and nicely furnished. It was a wonderful time. Thank you very much!

Les chambres (323 la nôtre) sont agréablement grandes, petit balcon et superbe vue sur la mer. La douche est bien agencée. Cependant tous les joints sont vieux, pleins de calcaire et de couleur jaune ou grise ! De plus, marcher pieds nus dans la chambre vous salit la plante des pieds. Il y a donc de l'amélioration à prévoir. Le personnel est très agréable et à notre service. Les repas sont variés et bien fournis. Emplacement de l'hôtel assez facile d'accès depuis l'aéroport par des routes à 4 voies presque continues.

Fabulous location on the coast with lovely views. Easy walk down to the port and to the sea pools. Breakfast - lots of choice including lots of lovely fresh fruits etc. Dinner - a weird selection of things - perhaps themed nights would be better to prevent the general mish mash. Lovely big pool, lots of sun loungers but very few (approx 10!!) parasols. Some very negative points however No drawers at all in the bedroom so it got very cluttered. (Very strange in a good sized bedroom - masses of room for drawers) Two separate beds with no zip link facility so big gap. Dreadful smell of damp and the air conditioning was not working. Engineer said all over the hotel was an issue. The damp was really bad - I partially cured it by putting laundry detergent down the drain and pouring boiling water down. Bedroom was not well cleaned - lots of grime generally. The strangest thing was that above the bed there was a huge rectangle of glowing light when we put the lights out.. so irritating as it made the room light. Also because of no air con we had sliding balcony door open and there was lots of light pollution from lights outside. Getting a bath towel - the most ridiculous procedure.. have to pay ten euros cash, go and get a voucher then go and get a towel from reception... what a performance. No live music as promised on rooftop terrace (which is lovely) Waitresses were lovely but other staff surly and did not seem well trained. Restaurant is like underground car park

Der Service am Empfang und im Restaurant waren super. Sehr freundlich, hilfsbereit. Eine Servicekraft (Angela) super nett, hat sich auch mal mit den Gästen unterhalten (die es auch wollten), damit man sich wohlfühlt, sehr empathisch, hilfsbereit, freundlich, nett etc. . Wir haben uns immer gefreut, wenn sie da war. Einziges Manko an diesen Hotel ist wie immer der Zimmerservice. Nachdem wir innerhalb einer Woche 2x das Zimmer gereinigt bekommen haben, haben wir 10 EUR Trinkgeld gegeben, danach wurde nochmal 2x gereinigt und dann 5 Tage nicht mehr (es wurde nur das Bettlaken strammgezogen und Mülleimer geleert), bis wir uns beschwert haben, da wir dann gegen 22 Uhr eine Kakerlake im Zimmer gefunden haben. Am nächsten Tag wurde dann endlich mal die Handtücher wieder gewechselt und das Zimmer gereinigt. Also an unseren letzten Tag. Den Abfluss im Waschbecken wurde nie sauber gemacht, da das Wasser seit wir in das Zimmer eingezogen waren sehr langsam ablief. Wir haben den Deckel gleich am ersten Abend abgeschraubt, da haben wir soviel Haare, Seifenreste gefunden (wer weiß wie lange da keiner mehr reingeguckt hat). Spiegel wurde auch nie sauber gemacht, da jmd. vor uns was auf den Spiegel geschrieben hat (wer weiß wer und wann) und wir das bis zum letzten Tag noch sehen konnten.

Schönes, ruhiges Hotel mit toller Lage. Sehr freundliche Mitarbeiter Zimmer leider etwas in die Jahre gekommen, und das Bad nicht instand gehalten. Wir hatten ein Upgrade auf eine Suite, 203. Diese war sehr groß mit Blick aufs Meer und grundsätzlich sehr komfortabel. Leider war das Bad, insbesondere das Silikon voller Schimmel und wirkte sehr ungepflegt. Des Weiteren war die Türzarge zum Bad notdürftig repariert, ein wirklich schönes Hotel, ruhiges Ambiente und das Essen war auch in Ordnung. Qualität des Essens war gut leider war am zweiten Tag bereits um 19:30 Uhr an der Grillstation das Entrecôte nicht mehr verfügbar. Grundsätzlich empfehlenswert Die Dachterrasse ist sensationell

We stayed here for 10days and had two connecting rooms. Both were a great size and as a young family of 5 had so much space. We were on the same floor as the pool and access to the pool was brilliant. It was a lovely pool area, with a small childrens pool and an adult only bubble pool. There is also a pool side bar which you can get drinks and light snacks from the day and carlos was brilliant-friendly. I have to mention all the hotel generally appeared clean there was an issue with cockroaches. We found main dead in the corridor outside our room and had to kill two ourselves inside the room. We notified management, and "extra cleaning" offered for the next day although we had to remind them and follow this up due to staff stortage. I also spoke about this on check out and after the reception staff told management whilst we sat in reception for 45 mins waiting for taxi, no further interaction was made to us. That was very disappointing. We also did notice many smaller "baby" cockroaches which we exterminated after the two huge invaders. This was a shame as most other things were fine. It could have helped if the door had a brush on the bottom but it looked like this was removed and not replaced (both rooms). Breakfast was well-stocked and pretty much the same for 10days. Would have liked poached eggs and hollandaise to be an option but couldnt see this. The hotel is a fairly long way to the village area bit is worth it. The walk back has a very steep hill. Good 3 star not a 4

The rooms were very clean and tidy, the staff were very helpful, even though some of them didnt speak great english. The pool area was kept nice and tidy. Food was nice too with a big variety.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The view from our room was absolutely stunning – we could see the ocean and the nearby cliffs, which made every morning feel special. The location is excellent, right in next to the town, and the ferry terminal is just next door, making it very easy to take a trip to Tenerife. The service throughout our stay was friendly and professional. My wife and I also booked a massage at the spa. I really enjoyed mine – it was relaxing and well done – but my wife was hoping for a deeper, more sports-style massage, so it didn’t quite meet her expectations. The spa area itself was very nice and peaceful. The outdoor swimming pool was a bit colder than we expected; I’m not sure if it was advertised as heated. For me it was refreshing Overall, we had a great experiene and I can definitely recommend this hotel

Cama cómoda. La junior suite no tiene todas las comodidades que se esperan de esta categoría salvo albornoz. Habitación muy amplia pero desaprovechada y en un extremo del hotel con vistas mejorables. Buffet del desayuno bien pero mejorable por su variedad en la cena.

Good hotel with big spacious room and bathroom. Lovely power shower. Pool was nice and not too crowded. Food was average and restaurant could be busy (especially for February) but absolutely fine. Nice sea views, quiet place, near to rock pools.

Chambre vue sur mer et les 3 piscines (une a fermé pendant notre séjour et n’a jamais rouvert), spacieuse globalement bien équipée, assez propre. Un plus pour la literie très confortable mais notre chambre, sous le bar en terrasse, était mal insonorisée, nous entendions marcher et déplacer les meubles. Le buffet du petit déjeuner permet un grand choix entre le salé et le sucré, diversifié mais sans variation durant 5 jours. Quel dommage qu’en pleine saison il n’y ait pas eu d’ananas frais (mais en boite, ainsi que d’autres fruits). Pris forfait spa (hamam, sauna, diverses douches d’hydromassagr), avec massage en couple. Un vrai plaisir. Dans le forfait le dîner buffet. À nouveau, grande diversité : hors d’œuvre, poissons, épaule d’agneau, salades, etc, fromages et desserts. Mais qualité moyenne des produits. L’espace piscine agréable (bcp de transats, moins de parasols). 4 matelas soleil uniquement. Installés sur un matelas l’avant-dernier jour (enfin après attendu 4j !). Ensuite un saut de 20mn en bas aux piscines naturelles et surprise ! Nos affaires avaient été virées par le « surveillant piscine ». De quel droit déplacer les effets personnels de clients, alors qu’aucune consigne affichée, contrairement aux instructions de sécurité. Remarque à la réception qui nous a assuré le faire remonter et nous tenir au courant. Elle a effectué notre check-out sans aucune réponse reçue ni par elle, ni par le management pas plus lors du checkout Service client pas digne hôtel 4*

Some of the rooms basically have no access to daylight as the rooms face a wall of rock. I was not informed on Expedia that the room has no view at all. There is a window but quite useless. Very dark all day. I would not recommend. Lots of options for breakfast but nothing particularly tasty. The service at the reception takes no actions on any complains and pretend they don’t speak good English.

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The reception staff, particularly Alfredo and Edwardo (I may their names wrong) helped us when I accidently booked your two day stay for one person, when it should have been two people. Quite frankly they could have ripped us off to make the change but they did not do that. Instead they waived a penalty and provided us with a comparable price that we previously had, adjusted up for the extra meals. The location is terrific, we enjoyed the entertainment, grounds, pool and especially the walk across the sand doons to the beautiful beach.

Unfortunately, my stay at this hotel was far below expectations. While the room was lovely and the surroundings beautiful, several issues made the experience disappointing. We opted for the all-inclusive package, but the food was consistently poor, often inedible. Both my boyfriend and I experienced stomach aches and diarrhea every day after dining, and we saw cockroaches in the kitchen. We were also charged extra for burgers at the rooftop bar, which were supposed to be included and arrived cold and inedible. Additionally, the hotel does not clearly label food or allergens. My boyfriend, who is lactose intolerant, had a bad reaction after eating a soup containing dairy, which staff failed to mention. To add to the disappointment, my boyfriend made special arrangements with the hotel staff for my birthday and followed up multiple times. Despite his efforts, on the day of my birthday, none of the planned surprises were delivered. He had to remind the staff again, which really detracted from the celebration. While some staff were friendly, the manager was dismissive and seemed uninterested in addressing our concerns. Overall, the poor dining experience and unprofessional service overshadowed our stay. I would not recommend eating at this hotel, especially if you have dietary restrictions.

On the surface, the resort looks nice. Upon further inspection much is in need of a deep clean, fresh paint, or complete replacement of some items. We booked all inclusive but they were so strict about when and where you could get food or drinks. We tried to order a bottle of Cava to our room, but that wasn’t allowed. We wanted to grab a piece of fruit from the buffet to take on a hike, again not allowed. Wanted to mix a couple of the included alcohols to make an Aperol Spritz, not allowed. Asked house keeping for a bottle of water, not allowed. It was frustrating and disappointing. Finally, the food was nearly tasteless. We gave up and went to town for most of our meals. On a positive note, the staff were very kind despite being held back from being helpful. The view from our balcony was beautiful and Agaete is an adorable little town. Overall, we were disappointed and will not be going to another Occidental resort

Great view over the Atlantic Ocean towards Teneriffa. Sea pools within walking distance, restaurants a bit farther away but a nice walk along the oceanside.

No lights on the path from the Puerto to the hotel After 8 pm it is very very dark to walk the path Not good at all taken into account that the cousy fish restaurants in the puerto is a part off what drives you to the location

Leider kein 4 Sterne Niveau. Das Bad hat unangenehm gerochen und das Zimmer roch muffig. Speisenauswahl war sehr begrenzt und hat sich oft wiederholt. Qualität der Speisen war aber gut. Lage des Hotel ist schön, allerdings ohne Leihwagen dann doch etwas ab vom Schuss.

Tres bel hotel mais hélas contrairement à ce que laisse penser les photos toutes les chambres ne donnent pas sur la piscine ou la mer. Pour la notre , nous donnions sur les parties communes ... bof... Diner en buffet moyen mais correct mais salle de restauration qui me donnait l'impression de diner au self du bureau ; salle bruyante et décoration insipide . Juste quelques places donnant sur l'exterieur ... mais pour le breakfast , supplement de 15 euros à payer pour s'y asseoir! pas tres malin , cette unique partie agréable de la salle est VIDE; En conclusion bel hotel mais frustation et déception ; çà fait luxe mais on n'y a pas droit

Despite his efforts, on the day of my birthday, none of the planned surprises were delivered. He had to remind the staff again, which really detracted from the celebration. While some staff were friendly, the manager was dismissive and seemed uninterested in addressing our concerns. Overall, the poor dining experience and unprofessional service overshadowed our stay. I would not recommend eating at this hotel, especially if you have dietary restrictions.

Die exponierte Lage des Hotels mit tollem Ausblick auf das Meer und das geräumige Zimmer haben uns besonders gefallen. Es gab zwar keinen Strand vor dem Hotel, man konnte aber schnell zu 3 Felsen-Bädern im Ort hinabsteigen. Der Service an der Rezeption und die Zimmerreinigung waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Im Restaurant waren die Servicekräfte sichtlich bemüht, waren aber in Stoßzeiten einfach zu wenige Personen. Das Restaurant hatte dann auch eher Kantinen-Flair. Die Essenauswahl war hingegen super bei guter Qualität. Die Größe des Pools war prima zum Schwimmen. Wir hatten das Auto in der Garage geparkt; sie ist etwas eng - war aber OK. Außerdem war die Sicht von der Rooftop-Bar auf den Sonnenuntergang und die Nachbarinsel Teneriffa grandios.

Very good hotel with excellent views over the cliff and beaches. The hotel is somewhat remote from the town and a steep climb back up. Food was ok but not the best I've had in a 4 star hotel. Vegetarian choices were available but not great for main courses. The terrace bar on the rooftop was great for drinks and watching the sunset but was taken over by a film crew for 3 days which was disappointing. Didn't try the spa. I would go again.

It is a beautiful area and a nice hotel. Very limited options for meals around and the hotel does not have the most varied offerings. The room is spacious and clean. pool bar is under renovation. Breakfast was great in the buffet, dinner depends on the night on the buffet, options are limited in the rooftop area. Room serviced is advertised throughout the property but does not exist.

The rooms were very clean and tidy, the staff were very helpful, even though some of them didnt speak great english. The pool area was kept nice and tidy. Food was nice too with a big variety.

Hotel con todas las comodidades muy nuevo, personal excelente amable, habitación espaciosa y buffet del desayuno y cena rico y variado! Noches temáticas!
