We were very impressed with Jack Pines Resort! We reserved a small cabin for a few days and did not realize all that this property had to offer! We didn't have a chance to rent an ATV but did enjoy walking some of their beautiful trails. The cabin was clean and comfortable. All of the staff we met were friendly and eager to help. Next time we visit, we will be more prepared to enjoy all of their amenities! This was a great place for us and our dog to get away and I would certainly recommend visiting!

Restaurant has limited hours during the week and weekends is 9-9. Kids playground was great fun. Sauna was broken but hot tub was in working order. Our beds were comfy in the lumberjack cabin. Stayed with our 2 kiddos and they loved to explore the grounds!

My favorite place to stay when I'm in the area! Cozy and comfy, great hosts and location. I am typically here for work and don't have much time to explore they have so many different recreational options that I hope to try in the future.

Lovely resort, super clean, well thought out, friendly, gem of a resort. The restaurant was really good too. We plan on coming back with our family every year at least once! Our kids loved the playground and the event center too! Would love to have an actual pool for kids instead of just a jacuzzi.

Excellent communication throughout the process beginning with making reservations to checking out. The cabins were clean, staff friendly, lots of activities to do on site. The breakfast was amazing! I loved the fire pits setup. Highly recommend this place. It was close enough to Detroit Lakes and other towns that had activity available like the beach.

Great stay. The game room kept the kids (teens) entertained with a pool table, ping pong, darts, and other games. We loved how secluded the resort was and it was exceptionally clean. Will stay again when visiting the area.

The on going construction of camp site is the only reason my rating of property is not excellent. Room was very clean and comfortable. Young woman at check in was extremely helpful. Other staff were very friendly. I liked the fact that I was within easy drive of Itasca SP and Tamarac Nat'l Wildlife refuge. I appreciated the laundry facility on site as I had been traveling/hiking for 1 1/2 weeks. I would definitely stay here again.

Other staff were very friendly. I liked the fact that I was within easy drive of Itasca SP and Tamarac Nat'l Wildlife refuge. This is a rustic cabin style hotel, but not cabins. They are clean and provide a place sleep and shower but they are not cabins as expected. They have a minifridge, microwave, tv, and coffee pot, heat/ac. No kitchens and are attached to other rooms. Parking is also separate from the lodging location. Clean and nice but was not what we expected we were paying for.

Queen bed looked like they might of missed changing the sheets. But I had brought my own so I was fine. We really liked the cabin overall and will be booking again next year perhaps a bigger one! Biggest drawback limited windows so you do feel like you are in a shed and it gets stuffy. Some items around the property need updating. Loved sitting outside in the morning just taking in the water feature and enjoying the landscaping.

Beautiful place to stay. Great atmosphere, restaurant on site, and parking was easy! We stayed in the small cabin and it still had 3 beds. Everything here was perfect for our stay. Great amenities too! Check-in was a little confusing, but we got it eventually.

Excellent communication throughout the process beginning with making reservations to checking out. The cabins were clean, staff friendly, lots of activities to do on site. The breakfast was amazing! I loved the fire pits setup. Highly recommend this place. It was close enough to Detroit Lakes and other towns that had activity available like the beach.

Beautiful place to stay. Great atmosphere, restaurant on site, and parking was easy! We stayed in the small cabin and it still had 3 beds. Everything here was perfect for our stay. Great amenities too! Check-in was a little confusing, but we got it eventually.

Jack Pines Resort was fabulous. It was clean, the staff was friendly, the room was comfortable, the restaurant had good food & friendly staff and the location was perfect for our trip.

Restaurant has limited hours during the week and weekends is 9-9. Kids playground was great fun. Sauna was broken but hot tub was in working order. Our beds were comfy in the lumberjack cabin. Stayed with our 2 kiddos and they loved to explore the grounds!

Lovely resort, super clean, well thought out, friendly, gem of a resort. The restaurant was really good too. We plan on coming back with our family every year at least once! Our kids loved the playground and the event center too! Would love to have an actual pool for kids instead of just a jacuzzi.

Loved my stay at Jack Pines Resort. I stayed by myself in the Depot cabin. Queen bed and a couple twin bunk beds. I used the bunk beds as storage to lay out my things. It had plenty of outlets, smart tv and really good wifi. I did a little work while I was there, but mostly used the wifi to watch a movie before bed. The restaurant on site has great food although the hours were a little limited for my purposes. The layout of the property is very welcoming and I enjoyed a couple very nice quiet morning walks on property. I will definitely stay here the next time i'm in the area.

When we travel things that are important to us are bed comfort, cleanliness, and the shower. Jack Pines met all 3 well. We were not sure if we were going to stay there or not and tired to get hold of the manager but she never got back with us, then we decided to stay but the reservation had been cancelled -- fortunately when we showed up the reservation was still ok, but it could have been a disaster. It's a lovely and nice cozy setting and the rooms were done nicely. For the price we paid, I would have expected a blow dryer in the room, but at least they got me one. A bit on the pricey side...

Great place for a family vacation. Needs a little renovation on the outside and inside. But other then that great place to vacation. Excellent staff and restaurant food was great! Definitely will vacation here again.

This is a nice little resort near Park Rapids! Check-in is via a friendly human in the resort shop and you get a physical key attached to a unique wood-carved key chain. The staff are kind, friendly, and helpful! The cabin had 1 large room and a full bathroom. There is a a coffee maker, refrigerator, and microwave as well as linens, towels, and toiletries. The cabin was clean, comfortable, and quiet. The grounds are beautiful! They have boardwalk throughout the property. The garden in the middle is landscaped with ponds, fireplaces, and outdoor seating. The event center has loads of activities if you need to get out of the weather. They have many wide, well-established trails throughout the property for walking, riding, or ATVing. Nice property for getaway with the family!
