Room was not only super clean but well appointed. Two picnic areas each with its own gas barbecue and fire pit offers an alternative to finding a restaurant. The television in our room wasn’t the best with audio and channel fibrillation. However, this was far from a deal breaker!. :) Overall a great place that we look forward to coming back to in the winter months for Xcountry skiing and snowshoeing in Algonquin! 😊

Great little motel in a beautiful area. We were looking for a quintessential Canadiana cottage type experience and this was great. Thoroughly enjoyed the sightseeing followed by an evening in front of the campfire. Great breakfast place at Erika’s just down the road. Thanks for a great stay!

the only thing was the tv was a little far ftom the bed they could have made it easier to watch. But the place is really cool theres fire pits barbecue s for prople lots of places to sit around outside.Not just this place everyplace along the highway they have picture windows to the parkinglot and the back window was small but there was a beautiful forest behind the place..But luckily this place has a nice front yard and a nice view of the woods across the road..Its close to Huntsville which is very cool just 13 mins away.Theres a lake just around the bend with a boat ramp nice big lake. Algonquin park west gate entrance was15 min East and its a senic drive wherever you go around there.They were cool at checkout let me stay a little extra for free.He offererd they were not real busy.If i ho to Halliburton wildlife to see the wolves again I will stay there.Its a bit of z drive from there to Haliburton but it really beutiful all through the land of lakes .On a motercycle it would be also a nice ride lots of places to stop for drinks and food .

The room was clean and fortunately sound proofed as Hotel is just off HWY 60. The bed and bedding comfortable. The outdoor area was just adequate and the outdoor seating old and broken, but it was the end of the season so maybe it is upgraded in the spring.

called ahead letting them know i'd be coming past their check-in time. they were friendly and accommodating and had no problem letting me arrive at nearly 10pm. i've stayed here once before and had a great experience last time as well. the motel is clean and tidy and being able to have a fire at their pits at night will always bring me back.

The owner and cleaning staff were friendly. The room was comfortable and had everything we needed. The firepit and horse shoe pit came in handy. Over all we had a nice stay .

Dwight Village Motel is a quiet spot off Highway 60 with a place to read and have a cup of coffee in the morning and sit around a campfire in the evening. The owners are onsite and are very helpful, ensuring the facility is clean and well maintained. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

We stayed for two nights, the owner was super friendly and made our check in a breeze We asked about ice, he didn’t have a machine, but ran into town and grabbed us a bag Community fire pit had tons of wood and seething and the bbqs were convenient

Second time staying here before heading into Algonquin for backcountry camping. Great launching off point to get into the park early. Staff are friendly and have accommodated my late check in each time. Rooms are clean, simple and the price point is spot on.

First time staying at this place and me and wife loved it. Nice, clean, and comfortable. Located perfectly between Huntsville and Algonquin park. You get the best of both worlds. Staff was super helpful. Would definitely stay here again when in the area.

Room was clean but very dated, old carpet, had to leave windows open as a musty smell. Manager was hard to understand when speaking,but he did get the TV working. Motel next to Hwy.

The great reviews are true - this place is fantastic! Clean, renovated bathroom, comfortable beds, extremely close to the gorgeous Dwight Beach, quiet and peaceful despite being by the road, and a lovely drive away from Algonquin Park’s West Gate. We would definitely go back!

It appears clean and they are very friendly however there is a musty smell and possibly mold in the room we where in - we where they for two hours and I had to leave due to breathing problems from the air in the room - it was late and couldn’t get ahold of anyone at the front as they where sleeping because it was 11pm not a place I can stay again we had to go into Huntsville and book another motel not very happy at all

This was the second time staying at the Dwight Motel. It’s always clean and well kept. The rooms are cute and very clean and air conditioned. Our bed was a little uncomfortable though. We loved the smart tv and Roku for streaming movies. Overall a very nice stay and close to the park. Recommended.

Great location less than an hour away from Algonquin Park. Rooms are clean, beds are very comfortable. Brad is super responsive.

Dwight village motel. Owner very friendly , clean and quiet. Perfect lical for jumping off to Algonquin Park. The boiler room restaurant great and only 3 km away.

Second time staying here before heading into Algonquin for backcountry camping. Great launching off point to get into the park early. Staff are friendly and have accommodated my late check in each time. Rooms are clean, simple and the price point is spot on.

First time staying at this place and me and wife loved it. Nice, clean, and comfortable. Located perfectly between Huntsville and Algonquin park. You get the best of both worlds. Staff was super helpful. Would definitely stay here again when in the area.

The great reviews are true - this place is fantastic! Clean, renovated bathroom, comfortable beds, extremely close to the gorgeous Dwight Beach, quiet and peaceful despite being by the road, and a lovely drive away from Algonquin Park’s West Gate. We would definitely go back!

the only thing was the tv was a little far ftom the bed they could have made it easier to watch. But the place is really cool theres fire pits barbecue s for prople lots of places to sit around outside.Not just this place everyplace along the highway they have picture windows to the parkinglot and the back window was small but there was a beautiful forest behind the place..But luckily this place has a nice front yard and a nice view of the woods across the road..Its close to Huntsville which is very cool just 13 mins away.Theres a lake just around the bend with a boat ramp nice big lake. Algonquin park west gate entrance was15 min East and its a senic drive wherever you go around there.They were cool at checkout let me stay a little extra for free.He offererd they were not real busy.If i ho to Halliburton wildlife to see the wolves again I will stay there.Its a bit of z drive from there to Haliburton but it really beutiful all through the land of lakes .On a motercycle it would be also a nice ride lots of places to stop for drinks and food .

This was the second time staying at the Dwight Motel. It’s always clean and well kept. The rooms are cute and very clean and air conditioned. Our bed was a little uncomfortable though. We loved the smart tv and Roku for streaming movies. Overall a very nice stay and close to the park. Recommended.

The rooms were well maintaimed Newell renovated very clean. The staff were friendly, very close to Dwight beach beautiful motel located just off highway 60.

Room was not only super clean but well appointed. Two picnic areas each with its own gas barbecue and fire pit offers an alternative to finding a restaurant. The television in our room wasn’t the best with audio and channel fibrillation. However, this was far from a deal breaker!. :) Overall a great place that we look forward to coming back to in the winter months for Xcountry skiing and snowshoeing in Algonquin! 😊

Great little motel in a beautiful area. We were looking for a quintessential Canadiana cottage type experience and this was great. Thoroughly enjoyed the sightseeing followed by an evening in front of the campfire. Great breakfast place at Erika’s just down the road. Thanks for a great stay!

Picked the place due to its high rating and it did not disappoint - cute exterior and clean rooms (beds, floor, bathroom). Webster’s Beacon, a grocery/café 3 km east (open till 7pm), sells yummy warm sandwiches and pizza.

The owner and cleaning staff were friendly. The room was comfortable and had everything we needed. The firepit and horse shoe pit came in handy. Over all we had a nice stay .

Dwight Village Motel is a quiet spot off Highway 60 with a place to read and have a cup of coffee in the morning and sit around a campfire in the evening. The owners are onsite and are very helpful, ensuring the facility is clean and well maintained. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

We stayed for two nights, the owner was super friendly and made our check in a breeze We asked about ice, he didn’t have a machine, but ran into town and grabbed us a bag Community fire pit had tons of wood and seething and the bbqs were convenient

This is a really nice motel at the top of the Muskoka region and the gateway to the Kawarthas. It has large rooms with a table and chairs, and all the usual hotel amenities +, fridge, microwave, coffee etc. The bedding, towels and bathroom were immaculately clean. I’ve noticed in Northern Ontario that a lot of the motels that are getting bought up and refurbished are a lot better value than the chain hotels up here, which are usually shabby and are often pretty gross to stay at. The motels are much better and are also cheaper. This is a very good one.
This is a really nice motel at the top of the Muskoka region and the gateway to the Kawarthas. Room was clean but very dated, old carpet, had to leave windows open as a musty smell. Manager was hard to understand when speaking,but he did get the TV working. Motel next to Hwy.

The room was clean and fortunately sound proofed as Hotel is just off HWY 60. The bed and bedding comfortable. The outdoor area was just adequate and the outdoor seating old and broken, but it was the end of the season so maybe it is upgraded in the spring.
