GRAND VATAN HOTEL

I normally stay in a five star hotel when I come to Istanbul, but this time I decided to stay in the Grand Vitan because it was close to my favorite restaurant. When I checked in at the hotel at approximately 7:45 PM, I was greeted by a man at the front desk who didn't speak English. He gave me a room on the 4th floor of the hotel; the room seemed to be ok at first, even though it was outdated, which is normal for a low cost hotel. However, after staying there for 3 days, I noticed something crawling on my bed. I didn't know what it was, but after a close inspection, I realized that it was a bed bug. I checked around the mattress and the area and found more bed bugs. Actually, the room was infested with bed bugs. I took a video and pictures of the bed bugs and gathered my belongings and went downstairs to report to the front desk. The front attendant was nowhere to be found, but later I found him sleeping on the chair. I gathered my belongings and left the room. I had to wait for the morning manager to give me a different room. I was outside in the lobby till 10:00 a.m., waiting for a different room. That was about a 4-hour wait for a new room. It was a bad experience. The manager was ok, but he had no control over the situation. Anyway, I learned my lesson.

The worst hotel I have ever stayed at. Very old building, with a lot of noise coming from other rooms. No room cleaning was done at all during my stay. Overall, a very disappointing experience. أسوأ فندق أقمت فيه على الإطلاق. المبنى قديم جدًا، والأصوات من الغرف الأخرى تنتقل بشكل واضح ومزعج. ولم يتم تنظيف الغرفة نهائيًا طوال فترة إقامتي. بشكل عام، تجربة مخيبة جدًا للآمال.

Harika temiz güvenli tavsiye ederim

The room was disgustingly dirty. There was black mold all inside the bathroom. The bedsheets were disgusting. The room smelt of weed and cigarettes. The office staff were so disrespectful and rude. I didn’t last more than an hour and I left when bringing this situation to their attention to the staff. They were not helpful and refused to switch rooms.

Great place, very close to stations, the staff are very polite and friendly.
