Excellent communication with the host for arrival and setting up transportation from airport. Super modern and spacious apartment so it’s less of a hotel feel. You have your own kitchenette in the room and really feel like you’re living the apartment life in the city of Athens. Walkable to main streets. Very secure and safe. There is an elevator in the building.

It was my Fiancés birthday and our engagement anniversary so we stayed at the penthouse as it overlooks the acropolis and has a spa on the roof. It was great, modern, clean and very nicely appointed. We work in yachting so our expectations are high and this did not disappoint! There was plenty of good coffee laid on and a bottle of complimentary wine which was a nice touch. Very friendly and professional handling of the booking and check in, full marks and thank you for a wonderful stay in the hub of Athens.

We only had a few day in Athens before our cruise and this was very convenient for us. Very nice apartment, cold AC, close to many restaurants and could walk to landmarks. No laundry on site but there's a self service laundry about a block away. Would definitely stay here again.

Fantastic location a couple of blocks from the acropolis and the acropolis museum. There is a market within a block and multiple restaurants within 5-min walk. Apartment is great, it has a full kitchen and washer dryer. There is an elevator if needed and the apartment is noise free.

Had a couple days in Athens and needed a one night stay before our flight. Urban Stripes was the perfect spot. Great location, huge well kept apartments compared to a small room from a hotel, and the check-in office allowed us early checkin and late check out while holding our bags on both ends while we explored the city. Incredible hosts. Highly recommended and will use again next time we're in Athens!

We started our trip to Athens from this apartment and it was a fantastic choice for our family of 4 with two teen boys. We booked the family massionette. Great location within a short walk to Acropolis and metro. Safe neighborhood. Why you should book this hotel when traveling with teens: -one king bed and two twins (2 bedrooms) -two washrooms -two floors for noise control -contains in room laundry (washer) -kitchenette with everything you can need. My son even cooked noodles for a midnight snack -large apartment where you arent right on top of each other

Stayed in the two-bedroom apartment. The pros: The apartment I stayed in is very nice and clean. The area where the hotel is located is very quiet and safe. At the same time, the hotel is a very short walk from Plaka neighborhood and Acropolis area. The Cons: Not a traditional hotel, so there is no traditional lobby, swimming pool or other traditional hotel amenities.

Jättetrevlig personal som svarade snabbt på mina frågor före vistelsen samt de var otroligt trevliga när vi var på plats. Hög servicenivå. Anledningen att inte städ fick full pott var att det låg dammråttor under sängen i övrigt var det kanonfint städat. Lägenheten hade bra utrustning i köket och det allmänna intrycket var toppen.

Beautiful apartment. Very clean, lots of room for everyone (family of 4). In a great location. Only a 8 minute walk to acropolis museum. Breakfast was incredible!! Staff was so friendly upon check in and was available throughout our stay. Highly recommend!

We loved how much space we had in this apartment hotel. The window that fully opened along the whole wall was very cool. Super comfortable beds and pillows, AC was great and everything was clean.

This was a great place to stay. Although the front desk is not 24hr we never had an issue getting in touch with someone for assistance (WhatsApp). We arranged our airport pickup through them and arrived at 10:30pm and they contacted us to make sure we were met and taken care of. The housekeeping staff was one of the friendliest I have encountered. Our room had a great view of the Acropolis (not sure if all of them do??). The location is very convenient to the Acropolis Museum (under 10min walk) and in a very quiet neighborhood. Highly recommend!!!

Our stay at Urban stripes was excellent. We stayed in the acropolis suite 2 on the fifth floor. We arrived early as we were coming off a cruise and the room was ready for us by 12.30. The room itself is spacious with a kitchen area with sink and fridge, sofa and coffee table, then the bed. The bed was very comfortable and there was plenty of storage. Much more space than a hotel room. We loved sitting on the sofa after being out exploring with a perfect view of the acropolis out of the window. There is a very small balcony with the same view. We also appreciated the great AC and our room was always cool when we returned. We found that we could walk easily to Plaka and the acropolis. There were also several restaurants close by that we visited and also a bakery just down the street. We would definitely return to Urban Stripes and would recommend to friends visiting the city.

This is a charming, lovely space - I would come back to Athens just to stay here! Spacious and calm, yet well-equipped, immaculately clean and with plenty of storage space. There are even resources to do some hand laundry and drying on the balcony. Beds and sofas are comfortable, with a kitchen space and large table inside, and a small table and chairs out on the balcony. Large windows give a beautiful view of the blue Greek sky and the Parthenon. The kitchen could do with a little more equipment, such as cutting knives, and a towel for the toilet and more hooks or towel rails in the bathroom area would be nice. The staff are exceedingly helpful regarding directions, tourist advice, taxis and keeping luggage after check-out. They are a pleasure to talk to.

Comfortable layout, roomy, and clean. 15 minutes walking to main tour sites. We love the kitchen, dining are and separate rooms for shower and toilet. Feels cozy like home. We will definitely stay again if we visit.

The staff was what made this stay pleasant. I was able to check in early, I was given fantastic restaurant recommendations, and the communication with the onsite team was top notch. Also, the breakfast delivered to the room both mornings was A+.

Exceptional good service and very easy information for accessing the apartment when arriving late hours. The apartment is just walking distances to all the historical attractions. All though its in the busy center, you couldn't hear anything noise. It's absolutely recommended.

Wonderful location, close to tram, Acropolis, Plaka, good restaurants nearby. Very comfortable to come "home" to after a busy day of sightseeing or enjoying the beach. Great communication coming and going with Marisa. Highly recommended!

I cannot say enough good things about our stay at Urban Stripes. Our stay was enjoyable and effortless. We had clear communication with our host the whole time. We landed in Athens around 0900. Our check in time wasn’t until 1400, but we received a message from our host the day before that we could leave our bags at the hotel once we arrived so we could explore Athens without them while we waited for our room to be ready. We received a call as soon as our room was ready (about an hour before our official check in time). When we arrived our host gave us a map with sights on it that’s common for tourist, she took the time to highlight areas and routes that we should take and areas to avoid! The room itself was great! It was VERY clean and VERY spacious for the two of us. It was a 2 level apartment with a living area, kitchen, dinning room table, balcony, and restroom downstairs. Upstairs was the bedroom, closet hallway that lead to the restroom with a shower and toilet, and an additional balcony! The location was extremely convenient as well. We were just enough out of the super crowded area that our room was quiet but a quick 5 minute power walk to the area surrounding the acropolis with all the cute shops and delicious restaurants. 10/10 would recommend Urban Stripes to anyone staying in the Athens! I would book here in a heartbeat when I return!

I cannot say enough good things about our stay at Urban Stripes. Our stay was enjoyable and effortless. We had clear communication with our host the whole time. We landed in Athens around 0900. Our check in time wasn’t until 1400, but we received a message from our host the day before that we could leave our bags at the hotel once we arrived so we could explore Athens without them while we waited for our room to be ready. We received a call as soon as our room was ready (about an hour before our official check in time). Reception was extremely helpful, highlighting what to see, where to eat, answering all our questions. Thank you Alex.. The only downside was that the reception was closed when we arrived, which was a bit stressful. But it was only for less than 5 minutes and we arrived earlier than expected. We really liked the breakfast, delivered at our door!

Fantastic stay! Perfect location within walking distance to all the main attractions. Spacious room with a separate bedroom, living area, and mini-kitchen – felt like home. Staff were super friendly and the manager personally welcomed us. We could even leave our luggage after check-out, which was a big help. Highly recommended!

I cannot say enough about this property. I stayed here with my family (2 adults and 2 teens) and we had a fabulous time here. The view of the Acropolis at night from here was unbeatable. The location is fabulous with a 5-10 minute walk to the Acropolis metro and to the Acropolis museum and the Acropolis. The best thing about this place is the staff. Alex went out of his way to drop off a personal item that I had left behind to drop it off to my friend a little drive away. I cannot thank him enough for going above and beyond his normal responsibilities to do this for his guests. I am very appreciate of this and I hope the staff at Urban Stripes recognizes a good employee like him. Maria was great as well helping us check in with a warm hospitable smile and Anna was our main person helping us with all our pre-travel arrangements. Kudos to the staff at Urban Stripes. We will definitely stay here again and recommend them highly to whoever is visiting..

So this was our first time to Athens, and can I say that this place far exceeded my expectations! When I initially booked, Alex from Urban Stripes reached out to see if we needed any help with anything and also arranged a ride from the airport to the hotel for us which made it so easy for us, especially after a long flight, we were picked up in a really nice luxury sprinter van , and our driver Yanis was awesome! Our room was actually a good size apartment that looked brand new, i mean pristine clean, and it was super comfortable, we were a 10 min walk from the Acropolis and close to the Plaka neigborhood, and the museum was like 3 min away. I would highly recommend , especially if its your first time in Athens:)

This was the perfect spot for a layover and close enough to walk to the Acropolis. Our room was ready early and it made for a perfect stay. I would highly recommend this place for either a short term or long term stay.

The staff was what made this stay pleasant. I was able to check in early, I was given fantastic restaurant recommendations, and the communication with the onsite team was top notch. Also, the breakfast delivered to the room both mornings was A+.

Beautiful apartment, great location. Clean and comfortable! Alex was very helpful throughout our stay. Breakfast was delicious (so much food—we had a lot of leftovers every day). We would definitely consider staying there again if we ever return to Athens.

This property was everything and more! The location couldnt have been better and all of our drivers that picked us up for excursions told us we chpse a great and safe neighborhood to stay in. The view from the signature suite was stunning as well! The service was fabulous and the breakfast boxes were plentiful and really... too much food. I felt bad not being able to eat it all. Any questions we had, they answered. The metro was also close by to take us anywhere outside of walking distance. Yes... there is graffiti around but this is not a location of the hotel problem, it is an all over Greece challenge. This location and the service were top notch!

Excellent location within short walking distance to Acropolis. Apartment is modern and beautiful, the view from the rooms and balcony is breathtaking! We were sorry to leave! The breakfast was excellent and quite frankly a bit too much food. Everyone working there was friendly and helpful. Highly recommend!

We needed a place to stay for our last night in Greece after returning from Santorini. Urban Stripes was an excellent choice. It was close to great restaurants (tip: make reservations at Mani Mani or you won't get a table), the Acropolis, and in a nice neighborhood with locals so it was quieter than other locations in the city. It was the perfect place to end our trip. The room was spacious, clean and had a small kitchen with a fridge, nespresso machine, and other utensils, etc. One could easily stay for a while comfortably. Staff was friendly and check-in/check-out was easy at their front office.

Our Urban Stripes apartment overlooking the fabulous Parthenon/Acropolis was stunning. Everything, and I mean everything, was provided for in the very spacious property and the representative for the property was very responsive to our questions and prompt with recommendations. It was truly our home away from home for the time we were there, and the restaurant options were never ending. Within steps of the property or within a 15 minute walk you had your choice of cafes, restaurants, archaelogical ruins, shopping, etc. Truly a gem for sure. You will not be disappointed at the Urban Stripes!

This is a very cool spot. We only had this booked for one night, our last before departing Greece, and because of a delayed ferry returning from the islands, we didn't get to the apartment until late in the night. The check-in process could not have been smoother, we were able to quickly drop our bags before finding a late dinner. The beds were comfortable, the apartment was very clean, the view of the Parthenon was pretty cool too. Wish we could've spent some more time here, as the location seemed worth exploring further. We would not hesitate to stay here again and would recommend it to others.

We arrived late at night and the code provided to the lockbox was not correct! The telephone numbers provided did not work and hotels.com has no emergency number. So we ended up waiting for 30 minutes with 2 kids and suitcases where we couldnt get into our room. The room is otherwise very nice and the area is cool. But i think its completely unacceptable that the hotel can provide incorrect code for your key and if it had been in the middle of the hight i am not sure what we should have done! The hotel offered us free breakfast as compensation and we asked that it should be delivered at 0830 since we had to leave for the airport. At 0845 we had to call them since breakfast had not been delivered yet. So all in all a nice and cool hotel but the hotel management is clearly not working.
