Vale la pena! Ubicación estupenda, el barrio muy bonito, muy seguro. Habitación grande, con una cocina (pero no tiene utensilios para cocinar), bañera, cama muy muy cómoda. Personal muy amable, nos ayudó mucho. Hemos dormido muy bien, muy tranquilo. No nos gustó la limpieza, no cambiaban las toallas durante nuestra estancia. Cuando lo pide, nos dejo otras toallas pero manchadas. Durante 8 días no nos cambiaron las sábanas que se manchó el tercer día. Desayuno horrible, no vale la pena pagarlo. Mejor desayunar en una de las muchas cafeterías que quedan por allí cerca.

I picked this hotel for a short stay because of its web site and location. The web description and photos do not match the facility. It was the third and last hotel in our trip to Argentina. The room and its furnishings need to be updated. The room had a musty smell and water stains. The lighting was dim. The toilet flapper valve needed to be replaced, because water ran slowly after the tank was full. The hair dryer ran for 9 seconds and shut off. We had to get another one from the front desk, I asked for a US adapter plug, and they told me I could buy one in the morning. We had a substandard breakfast the next morning. The food did look anything like the web. We discovered that the front desk people did not understand English. On the second day of our stay, I tried to open the room safe. It did not open. The owner changed the batteries. I am not sure what would have happened if he was not there. I had to get a replacement for the air conditioning remote because the one in the room did not work. When I asked about printing my boarding passes I Was told the printer was broken. When I asked when it would be fixed the answer was “I do not know, I am only an employee.”

Excellent location Close to everything. The building however needs some love. Our toilet kept not working. Kept having to tell them to fix it. It was endlessly running water. The room was supposed to be a “suite” for 3 but it was a typical room with some bedding on a sofa they were calling a twin bed. Definitely priced higher than comparable properties that are in better condition

Hotel antigo, com banheiro HORRÍVEL mto velho, banheira descascando, lixeira sem tampa. Cozinha MUITO velha , amarelada, chão de taco precisando manutenção. Uma coisa boa: chuveiro ótimo, lençol de cama novo e limpo e atendimento ótimo dos funcionários .

caro para o que oferece, paga-se pela excelente localização. Hotel fica nos fundos do famoso e chique hotel Alvear, perto de ótimos restaurantes e lojas, numa parte linda da Recoleta. O prédio é antigo, os elevadores são bem estreitos e antigos. Para quarto quádruplo é preciso reservar um quarto com dois andares, muito caro. Ficamos no 603: o banheiro do primeiro andar tem chuveiro mas não se pode tomar banho porque não tem box, molharia o banheiro todo. Os cômodos são estreitos, a escada é perigosa e há o inconveniente de ter que subir com as malas para quem vai ficar no andar superior, aonde há a cama de casal. No andar inferior as camas de solteiro são na verdade um sofá cama, sendo que uma parte é um colchão bem frágil, sorte que minha filha é pequena e leve. Mas há uma mini “cozinha”, além do frigobar, com microondas, pia e pratos e talheres, o que é útil. Wi-Fi funciona bem e aquecedores do quarto também. A limpeza é boa. O café da manhã é bem mediano, não há variedade de comida, basicamente pães (salgados e doces), as frutas são de péssima qualidade, e não há ovos mexidos (são cobrados a parte e não são gostosos), há apenas uma variedade de suco. O espaço aonde é servido é bem estranho, numa saleta que parece improvisada, é super pequena e estreita, as mesas ficam coladas, uma ginástica para não esbarrar na mesa ao lado e pegar as comidas no minúsculo bufê. A educação dos funcionários varia, em geral, na recepção, os homens eram os mais educados.

Location location location, thats all Hotel small, elevator for 3 people max to start. 1 towel for 2 people. Very few electric outlets. Carpet stained. Spa tub didnt work. Breakfast toast and instant cofee.hotel door locked and sometimes had to wait for the lady to open it .

Excellent location, friendly staff. A tad run down; poor breakfast (at additional free from $15). Plumbing needs a bit of work (toilets keep running--they function fine, but that running water sound was impossible to stop in our room and the room next door). Suite comes with small stove, microwave, fridge, and few plates etc. Friendliness and proximity to Recoleta cemetery and other sites made it a good choice, particularly given low price (at least by US standards).

O hotel tem excelentes qualidades, é MUITO antigo e a vista é para o fundo de diversos prédios, no entanto as camas são confortáveis e o enxoval de qualidade. Toalhas grandes e quartos bem limpos. Localização fenomenal e atendimento impecável.

La ubicación era excelente, las instalaciones muy cómodas y la disposición de la administración fue excelente: nos ayudaron a resolver problemáticas así q les agradecemos mucho. Pero el desayuno no es de los mejores, es repetitivo y pobre, además la disposición del personal tampoco ayuda mucho. La limpieza también mostró problemas: en ninguno de los días aspiraron o limpiaron insumos de la kitchenette. Hay mucha diferencia en la disposición del personal

Great location and a very comfortable bed. The staff was very friendly and I felt welcomed. However, I stayed at this hotel before but this time it was disappointing. The hotel is being refurbished and it certainly needs it. I would recommend to stay after renovation. Key issues: 1. wifi was intermittent which meant I couldn’t work properly as I was planning. 2. Air condition unit was old and very noisy. It’s on its last legs and it doesn’t cool the room very fast. 3. The socket next to the mirror in the bathroom was missing part of its cover which could be dangerous for kids. This can be fixed easily. 4. The shower head has seen better days and it’s easy to replace. I appreciate they are renovating the hotel and the price reflected the condition but I would expect issues with basic things like sockets, air con and wifi should be sorted. I would go back after renovation because the area is excellent.

I picked this hotel for a short stay because of its web site and location. The web description and photos do not match the facility. It was the third and last hotel in our trip to Argentina. The room and its furnishings need to be updated. The room had a musty smell and water stains. The lighting was dim. The toilet flapper valve needed to be replaced, because water ran slowly after the tank was full. The hair dryer ran for 9 seconds and shut off. We had to get another one from the front desk, I asked for a US adapter plug, and they told me I could buy one in the morning. We had a substandard breakfast the next morning. The food did look anything like the web. We discovered that the front desk people did not understand English. On the second day of our stay, I tried to open the room safe. It did not open. The owner changed the batteries. I am not sure what would have happened if he was not there. I had to get a replacement for the air conditioning remote because the one in the room did not work. When I asked about printing my boarding passes I Was told the printer was broken. When I asked when it would be fixed the answer was “I do not know, I am only an employee.”

Excellent location Close to everything. The building however needs some love. Our toilet kept not working. Kept having to tell them to fix it. It was endlessly running water. The room was supposed to be a “suite” for 3 but it was a typical room with some bedding on a sofa they were calling a twin bed. Definitely priced higher than comparable properties that are in better condition

Es un hotel miy bien ubicafo pero muy ruidoso, se escucha todo de los cuartos vecinos, el.baño y regadera es muy ruidosa de tal mamera que no.podiamos dormir una noche porque los del cuarto de a lado estaban usando el baño. Buen desayuno incluido

O prédio é antigo, os elevadores são bem estreitos e antigos. Para quarto quádruplo é preciso reservar um quarto com dois andares, muito caro. Ficamos no 603: o banheiro do primeiro andar tem chuveiro mas não se pode tomar banho porque não tem box, molharia o banheiro todo. Os cômodos são estreitos, a escada é perigosa e há o inconveniente de ter que subir com as malas para quem vai ficar no andar superior, aonde há a cama de casal. No andar inferior as camas de solteiro são na verdade um sofá cama, sendo que uma parte é um colchão bem frágil, sorte que minha filha é pequena e leve. Mas há uma mini “cozinha”, além do frigobar, com microondas, pia e pratos e talheres, o que é útil. Wi-Fi funciona bem e aquecedores do quarto também. A limpeza é boa. O café da manhã é bem mediano, não há variedade de comida, basicamente pães (salgados e doces), as frutas são de péssima qualidade, e não há ovos mexidos (são cobrados a parte e não são gostosos), há apenas uma variedade de suco. A bit dated but our executive suite was roomy and comfortable, with a fridge and microwave, dishes, cutlery etc at a very reasonable cost. Staff were all great and friendly - front desk, breakfast room, cleaners all! Breakfast can be included but is the same everyday with small variations, and a bit boring after a few days.

Plumbing needs a bit of work (toilets keep running--they function fine, but that running water sound was impossible to stop in our room and the room next door). Suite comes with small stove, microwave, fridge, and few plates etc. Friendliness and proximity to Recoleta cemetery and other sites made it a good choice, particularly given low price (at least by US standards).

Vale la pena! Ubicación estupenda, el barrio muy bonito, muy seguro. Habitación grande, con una cocina (pero no tiene utensilios para cocinar), bañera, cama muy muy cómoda. Personal muy amable, nos ayudó mucho. Hemos dormido muy bien, muy tranquilo. No nos gustó la limpieza, no cambiaban las toallas durante nuestra estancia. Cuando lo pide, nos dejo otras toallas pero manchadas. Durante 8 días no nos cambiaron las sábanas que se manchó el tercer día. Desayuno horrible, no vale la pena pagarlo. Mejor desayunar en una de las muchas cafeterías que quedan por allí cerca.

Great location and a very comfortable bed. The staff was very friendly and I felt welcomed. However, I stayed at this hotel before but this time it was disappointing. The hotel is being refurbished and it certainly needs it. I would recommend to stay after renovation. Key issues: 1. wifi was intermittent which meant I couldn’t work properly as I was planning. 2. Air condition unit was old and very noisy. It’s on its last legs and it doesn’t cool the room very fast. 3. The socket next to the mirror in the bathroom was missing part of its cover which could be dangerous for kids. This can be fixed easily. 4. The shower head has seen better days and it’s easy to replace. I appreciate they are renovating the hotel and the price reflected the condition but I would expect issues with basic things like sockets, air con and wifi should be sorted. I would go back after renovation because the area is excellent.
