Villa Carlotta Resort

The set-up is very pretty, the pool area is beautiful, the gardens well-maintained and the rooms were comfortable. The breakfast was excellent, the tortilla was amazing. The host could be a little more communicative as we didn't realize we could use some of the utensil and space to prepare ourselves our meals (just no cooking), we saw guests doing it so we asked and it was permitted. It would be nice to have a little more information on the amenities when we check-in. The location is ideal 10 min for Valley of the Temple and 25 min to Scala Dei Turchi.

Tranquil and relaxing villa. Great pool area and rooms are nice. Breakfast and the caffe are amazing. Few items need repair, but mostly small items like door pulls...etc. Overall an enjoyable stay.

Escolhemos este hotel perto de Agrigento pela facilidade de estacionar o carro e poucos quilômetros do Vale dos Templos e Scala dei Turchi. A localização entretanto, no que se refere a opções de restaurantes é bem limitada. Saímos para jantar as 20:00 de uma terça-feira em um restaurante recomendado e, apesar de aparecer no Google como aberto até as 23:00, estava fechado. Procuramos mais outros dois, também fechados. Acabamos parando num que porventura estava aberto e tinha um bom aspecto. Acreditamos que a zona de praia naquela região é pouco frequentada por estrangeiros pois ninguém falava língua diferente de italiano. Acabamos comendo uma pizza, até porque não tinha outras opções que pudessem nos agradar. O cardápio era apenas online e extremamente enxuto e ninguém se mostrava muito solícito a nos ajudar. O “Resort” em si é um B&B, só que instalado em um amplo terreno e com amplo espaço para estacionar. A piscina tem boas dimensões, mas não tem serviço de toalhas, oferta de bebidas ou o que for. Bom para familias com crianças. O café da manhã é bem sortido e bem servido em um ambiente muito agradável. Uma coisa que incomodou no quarto eram as luzes instáveis, piscantes, dando um efeito estroboscópico bem notório. O banheiro exalava um cheiro ruim, mesmo sem uso, aparentemente por falta de limpeza nas caixas de gordura. Em suma, bom, mas longe de ser excelente.

We loved our stay at this property. The staff were warm, welcoming, and genuinely helpful throughout our visit. The atmosphere felt relaxed and authentic, with plenty of Italian families enjoying the resort rather than it being geared solely toward tourists. The pool was excellent and a perfect place to unwind. The property’s smaller size created an intimate, charming feel that captured the spirit of la dolce vita. We would happily stay here again.

Klein und fein, ruhige Umgebung und guter Frühstück. Wir haben es dort genossen, etwas abseits und doch sehr gut gelegen in der Nähe von Agrigento. Für einen kurzen Aufenthalt sehr zu empfehlen.
