Hotel and stuff is ok. But there were hot water in the suits. Hot tubs and sauna did not work as well. Swimming pool with the hot water is not allowed for children under 18 and there is nothing about this at the web site.

The spa was great, enjoyed an hour massage. Pool facilities were very good except the sauna was out of order and one hot tub was diwn 2 of 3 days. Restaurant was very good.

The resort is due for some upgrades. There’s a lot of wear and tear everywhere you go: gouges in the wall, leather peeling off chairs, and a pool shower that showers you with rusty water.

Very dated. And not the greatest for kids as the kids pool area was not well kept and most did not function properly. Either the jets or the water slide wasn’t to wet. Hot tub was out of order Could be a great place if the maintenance was kept up

The room was huge furniture was okd and not good for someone with mobility issues. Pool area was freezing outside doors were been blown open from the wind outside . People tied them shut with towels. Area was so cold people wore jackets as their kids swam.

Overall was a good experience, but there are a few issues. The small hot tub didnt work for the second day, the swimming area has worn out, dingy looking areas, although the water was clean and hot. That part was nice. The hallways are dark and in serious need of a vacuum, theres grass and bugs on the carpet, which smells bad. The room was nice, clean and fairly quiet, but theres a gap under the door so you hear EVERYTHING happening in the hall. Lights in the bathroom are also dark and bathroom just needed renovating. Good things: the grounds are nice, spa and restaurant were good.

The staff at the restaurant were great. The food was great as well The property is run down. The pools unclean . The dream is out of order. The hottub is filth and one was out of order as well. Sand in the pool and hottub. Dated and needs major work. Blood fro fishermen was on the floor for overnight until it was mentioned by us. No staff cleaning or checking building Lights and showers were not working properly

The room had mildew around the tub/shower and no hot water. Hot tub out of order, sauna out of order, fitness room taped up out of order, and warm pool area surrounded with scum against walls and leaves your skin with a coat of something like a layer of cooking oil. Salka Spa has esthetician giving massages without experience who then doubles as the hostess/server at the restaurant. Restaurant does not have a proper chef, shrimp served with shell, feet, digestive tract (unless you request to not have this which is conveyed after your food arrives) then when you peel and remove the feet, digestive tract, shell yourself you're left with no flavor as it was all on the shell. The tuna appetizer had no sauce/dry, pickerel not seared (menu describes as seared) and no sauce again so dry plate/rice etc... Beautiful scenery and comfortable beds and nice rooms. Whomever running just does not know how to properly run a hotel.

Our stay is great. Being there with my family and celebrating our 13th anniversary. The rule that you cannot plug stuff is the one i dont like. Because the plugs beside the bed are not working so i cannot use my CPAP machine.

The staff were very helpful and friendly, but our bath/shower was broken and they weren't able to fix it during our short stay. The restaurant isn't what it used to be, with limited options, small portions, and high prices. On the plus side, a lot of gluten-free options, and the desserts were great! Service was friendly but very slow.

No water for most the morning. Then when it came back on it was all rusty looking. Poor customer service and poor wait staff at the restaurant. Oven wasn’t working for 2 of the days we were there.

We had a lovely short stay at Lakeview. Ali at the restaurant was very thoughtful and took great care of us, making our dining experience wonderful. Jose at the front desk was very friendly and went out of his way to offer us a First Aid Kit when my friend slipped when we were hiking. Their kindness and attentiveness really made our stay special. The only downside was that the toilet flush didn’t work well, even after being checked by the engineer. But overall, we really enjoyed our stay and it was worth the trip!

When we arrived to the hotel, we learned there was a boil water advisory so we were advised not to use the room water for drinking, brushing tea, etc. Except no bottled water was placed in the room and we were not offered any. We woke up this morning to NO RUNNING WATER in the rooms at all. Four people unable to shower or do anything needing water. No notice from the hotel that the water was being shut off. We had to go and shower at the campground!!!! Over $200+ a night and no water. This is disgraceful.

Stay was good. Overall, the hotel need a good clean up. The pools are the best part. The staff is super nice. The location is spectacular. The bones of the hotel are so good, just needs a a good vaccum, maybe a coat of paint here and there, and an update to some amenities.

We travelled with our 3 kids (ranging from age 4-10). Our kids had a fantastic time in the pool area! We enjoyed the fountains and the lighthouse hike. We appreciated all the natural light and the size of the hotel room itself! Would definitely go back!

We didn’t like the carpet, it looks old and carpet in comum areas is not clean. We liked the food, the hospitality, nice space room.

No water for most the morning. Then when it came back on it was all rusty looking. Poor customer service and poor wait staff at the restaurant. Oven wasn’t working for 2 of the days we were there.

We had a relaxed, restful stay. Loved the trails, and the spa pool was amazing. The room was clean, and the bed was very comfy. The staff were accommodating, and the restaurant food was stunning.

Staff was very helpful, room was clean and comfortable with amazing view. We had a wonderful meal in the restaurant. There was lots to do nearby and although we didn't golf the course look wonderful.

The spa was great, enjoyed an hour massage. Pool facilities were very good except the sauna was out of order and one hot tub was diwn 2 of 3 days. Restaurant was very good.

We made the trip expecting something special, but the rooms and family pool were pretty rundown. The staff were very helpful and friendly, but our bath/shower was broken and they weren't able to fix it during our short stay. The restaurant isn't what it used to be, with limited options, small portions, and high prices. On the plus side, a lot of gluten-free options, and the desserts were great! Service was friendly but very slow.

It was amazing!! Felt better than ever after our spa service, food was awesome, only thing is rooms and spa pool area need some work. Just one temp in spa pool area, so don’t expect Nordic plunge, etc. overall though it was amazing!

It's not perfect, but it's amazing how well it's kept up in such a remote location all these years. The upgrades somewhat away from the old seventies feel is a shame but necessary. All around pleased with our stay.

Stay was comfortable , staff was accommodating , pools were not as clean as they should be lots of bugs and insects in the adult pool . Amenities were good and lots of trails to go on , over all a fun experience with the family would visit again

We greatly enjoyed our stay. Our room was updated and very clean, although not a lot of lights (which I personally prefer), if that matters to you. Even the bathroom was quite dim. All of the staff were friendly. The restaurant staff sat us outside but warned us it was going to rain and they would help us move inside when the time came. We lucked out and it only just started as we were ready to pay. Our food arrived quick and was delicious. The gift shop is small but handy. We were happy to find Tylenol! The adult pool area has a hot tub, warm tub, cold plunge and pool, which is both indoors and outdoors. Can’t speak to the kids’ area as we’ve never been. Bar service is a nice touch. The only negative thing this trip was no signage regarding the lighthouse trail being closed. We made it to the halfway point, where there was a fence announcing the remainder of the trail was closed. (the light out is being repaired). Lots of mosquitos so remember to have bug spray if you plan to be out in the trees.
