The dining and bar areas are like many other pubs but the food I had for dinner was excellent, especially the chicken tikka with homemade paratha. The bedroom/bed was very comfortable with a coffee machine, which was a nice bonus. The bathroom had a great shower and bath with really good pressure and lovely hot water! Would certainly consider staying here again

Lovely room but very dark hotel, decorated in dark colours. Breakfast excellent . Wifi not working. Restaurant closed (Tuesday) with no prior warning. Had to drive out to find a restaurant which we didn’t want to have to do

We had a lovely last minute stay. The hotel was beautifully restored. Our room had retro Art Deco chief finishing. We had dinner in the restaurant which was delicious and breakfast was equally brilliant.

We had a great stay. Loved the Art deco feel to the rooms. We enjoyed our dinner and breakfast. Only niggle was the sound of a refrigerator compressor coming on and off through the night but I am a very light sleeper.
