We absolutely loved this lovely hotel! It was conveniently located and the staff were friendly and also accommodating. The rooms were beautifully decorated and we love the roof top lounging area. The views were breathtaking!

Location, location, location .Great hotel very close to the historic center of Arequipa. HOT Water, Comfortable beds and awesome service. Got breakfast bags ready to go for our early tours in the morning. Nice selection of tea in the lobby. So happy we chose Los Tambos Boutique. Highly recommend it. Thanks for the amazing service.

My stay was only one night but I wished I had more time to explore and enjoy all the amenities that Los Tambos and Arequipa offers. My room was spacious and the bathroom was clean. I especially liked how they offer airport pickup and transfer for guests to make everything more accessible and convenient. My only gripe is that without my driver I would have missed the hotel completely because it blends in with the scenery.

This one is an absolute gem! The evening front desk personal(don’t get his name) was super! Extremely helpful. The property was charming. Room was small which was no problem. It was well taken care of and very clean. Upstairs terrace and the observation area were a plus. I give 10+.

Front desk were always friendly, helpful and cheerful. Front door was accessed via a buzzer which made us feel safe. Great location near the main square with plenty of food options nearby. Breakfast was a little restrictive but tasty. Nice views from the rooftop terrace

Clean property. Amazing breakfast! A stone’s throw from the beautiful plaza de armas. The customer service was amazing and the laundry service was a reasonable price. We were thrilled with everything about this hotel.

Great location with everything from a dollar store to high end specialty stores, all level restaurants within walking distance. Friendly and accommodating staff and delicious breakfast options. Just note that the “laundry facilities” must be a translation error as they have a same day laundry service which was convenient, low cost and thorough. However, they do not have machines on site. Housekeeping was accommodating and even lending us a brush to clean our shoes after our canyon tour. Front desk staff was exception and gave great recommendations on dining and sites. Don’t miss the lovely terrace and roof top area with a view of the cathedral towers.

Location around the corner from Plaza de Armas, clean room, comfortable bed, wonderful staff, the beautiful view from the rooftop, taxi service to and from airport. The only reason I give this hotel 4 stars instead of 5 is because I was not impressed with the continental breakfast (even though the breakfast staff were lovely people). I need a buffet in order to feel full. For my last 2 days I walked to a nearby hotel on the plaza and had a buffet breakfast at my own expense.

We had a wonderful day in this hotel! The place is located in the heart of the historic district, super close to all the sites we wanted to visit. The room was extremely comfortable and spotless. Shower has very hot water and great pressure. The breakfast was restaurant level annd all the stuff, super friendly. I highly recommend this hotel.

Los Tambos Boutique was quaint. We were right on the street view for two nights which also made it quite loud with all the cars honking and people noise. Comfortable bed. We were then in a more remote room for 4 nights. Smaller room but quieter. Good breakfast choices. Excellent front desk service.

The staff was really helpful and nice! The room was nice, maybe a bit old. When it was raining, the water came in through the window (definitely don’t recommend keeping your luggage close to the window as everything will get wet, as ours did). The elevator was really loud, it could cleary be heard to the room. The breakfast was really nice! You can pick something from the menu every morning.

First off, the room is quite small. There isn’t a lot of room to move around. It may not be ideal for a long stay. Aside from the that, my husband and I enjoyed our stay of 3 nights. The hotel staff are exceptional. They went above and beyond to help us out with arranging transportation, recommending restaurants, and packing us food for an early tour! The breakfast options were great as well. The hotel is clean and cozy, and in a very good location, just a few minutes walk from the Plaza de Armas.

Good place to stay. Clean, very safe, and the breakfast is chef-like. I gave some fours for a little noise tthat comes from other rooms through the air duct. One guy in particular was a loud talker 24/7. Not much they can do about that.

If I could give this hotel 6 out of 5 stars, I would. We stayed here for a total of 3 nights, split amongst a trip to Chivay and the Colca Canyon. It's so close to the main centre of Arequipa that everything was in easy reach. The incredibly friendly receptionist José welcomed us with plenty of tips and a map and we soon went to our rooms, which are spacious and with good bathroom amenities, including suncream! The shower is great, the bed is very comfortable and we slept very well. Breakfast really needs a special mention because it far surpassed any of our other hotel breakfasts during our stay, including in more expensive locations. You get juice, tea or coffee, bread with jams and then choose what you want from cereal to eggs to sandwich or pancakes with quinoa in the actual batter and fruit inside. On the final day it was my Dad's birthday and I made a special request to ask if the hotel could adorn the room with birthday things that I would pay them back for so that he was surprised on entering. This was a big ask but José, Kimberly and Sally absolutely surpassed themselves. My Dad opened the door to many balloons (including on the ceiling), a big happy birthday sign and a card from the hotel. He was so happy that I'll remember it forever. They recommended a great restaurant for us to eat at that night and even offered to book a table for us. If you want a great hotel, with lovely staff, a superb location and a personal touch then I recommend this one!

Excellent location, very near the plaza. Breakfast was served well with a unique artistic style. Staff was very friendly. They even went above to help me book the Colca Canyon Tour a the very last minute for the next day. So appreciative of that. Overall, just an outstanding experience at this hotel.

Clean property. Amazing breakfast! A stone’s throw from the beautiful plaza de armas. The customer service was amazing and the laundry service was a reasonable price. We were thrilled with everything about this hotel.

Location, location, location .Great hotel very close to the historic center of Arequipa. HOT Water, Comfortable beds and awesome service. Got breakfast bags ready to go for our early tours in the morning. Nice selection of tea in the lobby. So happy we chose Los Tambos Boutique. Highly recommend it. Thanks for the amazing service.

Half a block from main plaza; the service is excellent and the breakfast was quite nice. Front desk was smiling and helpful the whole time. This is a small hotel with few amenities, but my stay was perfect in every regard. I’d stay here again with no reservations.

The front desk staff were super helpful and friendly. We really like the hotel location being next door to the main plaza and within walking distance of most interesting areas. You can easily pop back into the hotel for a bathroom break or a quick nap. Highly recommended and we certainly stay there again should we vist Arequipa again certainly

Location around the corner from Plaza de Armas, clean room, comfortable bed, wonderful staff, the beautiful view from the rooftop, taxi service to and from airport. The only reason I give this hotel 4 stars instead of 5 is because I was not impressed with the continental breakfast (even though the breakfast staff were lovely people). I need a buffet in order to feel full. For my last 2 days I walked to a nearby hotel on the plaza and had a buffet breakfast at my own expense.

Excellent location, very near the plaza. Breakfast was served well with a unique artistic style. Staff was very friendly. They even went above to help me book the Colca Canyon Tour a the very last minute for the next day. So appreciative of that. Overall, just an outstanding experience at this hotel.

Wow…..what a great place to stay! Everything they do is top notch! Their customer service is excellent, the rooms are cozy and have everything you need, the breakfast is EXCELLENT and the breakfast staff is so accommodating, the housekeeping does a great job! The location is PERFECT! Close to everything! I really can’t say enough positive about this boutique!!! Definitely would stay here again & again!!!

Prime location half a block from the Plaza de Armas. Close to everything. Breakfast was amazing, truly 5 stars. Comfortable rooms and beautiful rooftop for lounging and photos with perfect view of the Misty. Affordable price. My family and I are American but were born and raised in Peru. This hotel caters to both locals and tourists. Very happy with our stay.

We had an amazing stay at Los Tambos Boutique. It was only a 5-minute walk to Plaza de Armar, so it’s very central. We got a lot of help from José when we had booked the wrong dates for our trip, which we are very grateful for. The rooms were clean and the breakfast was good. When we had an early bus the day we left they also made a breakfast bag for us to take with us. I would also like to highlight the rooftop terrace with beautiful sunset views. We would recommend this place!
