Such an inviting jungle like retreat! A staff member met us at the train station and walked us to the hotel. The superior suite room was wonderful, especially with the natural hot springs hot tub! Would have liked a little more attention advertised as special services that go along with the room choice. Food was bountiful and tasty! Staff very attentive in the dining room!

Overall a relaxing stay in the laps of nature after visiting Machu Pichu. The hotel is conveniently located next to the Train station. If you are visiting Machu Pichu straight on arrival, do request the hotel to kindly collect your luggage whilst you make the trip up and return as only backpacks will be allowed on the bus to the site or on safe storage area at the entrance to Machu Pichu. Staff were courteous and took all the care to make your stay restful. Breakfast buffet spread is reasonable but the ala-carte options (included)are really good. Dinner options are also good hence we had it at the hotel on both nights. A special mention to Maiteh who are tended to us who always had a smile and was courteous and helpful in selecting the relevant dishes as well taking care of the gluten free options for my missus. A big shout to the Laundry team who returned the laundry in few hours instead of requested next day much to my surprise . They had a big smile when I was amazed on handing over the pack Tips to fellow travellers 1. Do take the option for Nature walk around the property as the in-house forest rangers are great. We thoroughly enjoyed the Twilight walk with Shan who enlightened us about the hotels’ history, Inca culture, constellations and the hotels’ onsite tea plantations. 2. Shoe cleaning is free :)

Magical, beautiful establishment. The staff was amazing - they helped us with travel plans beyond Aguas Calientes, as well. The food is divine - truly, some of the best we had in the country. The two issues we had were as follows: the rooms, unless you get one up the hill, aren't particularly private. Ours wasn't too bad - there were plenty worse - but we had to close all of our shades to have any true privacy, which deprived us of natural light. Many rooms, including ours, are in the walkway, so guests and staff walk right by your room with regularity. Also, we were eaten alive after only five minutes by the pool - over 50 bites on each leg. Obviously, a hotel can't control the insect population, but by the next day the pool had been drained. Too bad that it hadn't been the day before. At over $500 per night, I have no complaints about the food or service or the hotel setting - all were absolutely elite - but between the room issue and the pool disaster, it didn't end up being a great value.

Inkaterra Machu Picchu Pueblo Hotel was magical. The setting is peaceful and lush, with beautiful trails and gardens throughout the property. The staff were kind, attentive, and went above and beyond to make our stay special. Our room was cozy and clean, and the restaurant food was outstanding. Perfect location—close to town and the train, yet quiet and serene. Highly recommend!

Nice rooms with comfortable beds. Our suite had an outdoor patio with a sofa, mineral water pool and outdoor shower. Bathroom was large and had a towel warmer that was handy for drying clothes. Pros: Housekeeping did a great job with keeping our room spotless. Nature tour was amazing and took about 1 1/2 hours. Pool bartender was attentive. Great location. Breakfast was good and with a nice selection. Lunch was delicious although limited. Great lunch staff. Cons: Met the hotel staff at the train station but they didn’t offer to help carry our luggage (uphill to the hotel with stairs). Staff doesn’t communicate well. Breakfast was ordered night before for 6:15am as we had a 7am train for 7 hour hike. Didn’t arrive do we had to get coffee and a snack at the park entrance. Restaurant manager told us that we can get postage and mail postcards at the front desk but they don’t. Turndown service showed up twice out of 4 nights and when they did, they didn’t toss out the toilet paper and garbage can. Only ate dinner the first night as it was like cafeteria food (undercooked risotto and chicken breast was an overcooked ball of dry meat with skin on the outside).

If you are looking for a luxurious and relaxing place to stay near Machu Picchu, this hotel is perfect for you. My husband and I stayed for two nights and enjoyed every aspect of it. If you stay there, make sure to take advantage of their tours from the activity center. You will enjoy walking around the property, which is quite expansive. The dinner was also excellent. Additionally, they pick you up from the train station and bring your luggage to your room – wow! It is just a two-minute walk from the bus stop to Machu Picchu.

Kind of like a lodge style of property on lovely grounds. At some times of year I'd wonder if bugs might be an issue, but it was nice when we went. Staff was amazing, very helpful. The picked up our luggage from the train and dropped it back off- first rate service. Breakfast and dinner were great. We enjoyed the tour of the gardens to see the orchids and learn about the birds.

We were very pleased with the accomodations. It was very relaxing. The atmosphere was spa-like. The spa massage was excellent. The bottom of the pool was not clean- we only saw it was cleaned the morning we checked out.

A expectativa era grande, porém frustração foi muito maior. Chegamos 12:30 e não nos deixaram entrar pq o check in e 13:00, nos convidaram a um welcome drink no bar, ficamos 25 mim esperando e nada de chegar o drink. Upgrade de quarto não disponível, mesmo com diversos quartos vazios( observado durante caminhada da noite). Chegamos ao quarto, para minha surpresa um quarto Velho , banheiro escuro, azulejos com aspecto de sujo, fomos lavar as mãos e não tinha água na torneira, na mesma hora liguei na recepção e resolveram. Logo depois minha esposa foi tomar banho e a parte superior do choveiro despencou sobre ela, sorte que era leve. Enfim o jantar , fraco pouca opção , sobre mesa horrível !!!! , café da manhã péssimo sem opções , sem pratos quentes , pouca opção de pães e doces!!! Fraco muito fraco para um hotel com diárias de $500, e com 5 estrelas !!!! Não merece sequer 2!!!! PÉSSIMO!!!! Jamais vou recomendar ou indicar

Positive: the guides. Eric for Machu Picchu was excelent. And the guy in the orchid tour was also good. Negative: dinner service does not deserve 5 stars. Also, the shower changed from ice cold to boiling all the time.

Magical, beautiful establishment. The staff was amazing - they helped us with travel plans beyond Aguas Calientes, as well. The food is divine - truly, some of the best we had in the country. The two issues we had were as follows: the rooms, unless you get one up the hill, aren't particularly private. Ours wasn't too bad - there were plenty worse - but we had to close all of our shades to have any true privacy, which deprived us of natural light. Many rooms, including ours, are in the walkway, so guests and staff walk right by your room with regularity. Also, we were eaten alive after only five minutes by the pool - over 50 bites on each leg. Obviously, a hotel can't control the insect population, but by the next day the pool had been drained. Too bad that it hadn't been the day before. At over $500 per night, I have no complaints about the food or service or the hotel setting - all were absolutely elite - but between the room issue and the pool disaster, it didn't end up being a great value.

Absolutely beautiful facility. Dinning was excellent and the staff were friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable with a beautiful view. Would stay here again.

Nice rooms with comfortable beds. Our suite had an outdoor patio with a sofa, mineral water pool and outdoor shower. Bathroom was large and had a towel warmer that was handy for drying clothes. Pros: Housekeeping did a great job with keeping our room spotless. Nature tour was amazing and took about 1 1/2 hours. Pool bartender was attentive. Great location. Breakfast was good and with a nice selection. Lunch was delicious although limited. Great lunch staff. Cons: Met the hotel staff at the train station but they didn’t offer to help carry our luggage (uphill to the hotel with stairs). Staff doesn’t communicate well. Breakfast was ordered night before for 6:15am as we had a 7am train for 7 hour hike. Didn’t arrive do we had to get coffee and a snack at the park entrance. Restaurant manager told us that we can get postage and mail postcards at the front desk but they don’t. Turndown service showed up twice out of 4 nights and when they did, they didn’t toss out the toilet paper and garbage can. Only ate dinner the first night as it was like cafeteria food (undercooked risotto and chicken breast was an overcooked ball of dry meat with skin on the outside).

On the morning of October 1st we were caught in a heavy downpour at Machu Picchu and ended up completely soaked. Even though we had already checked out, we went back to the Inkaterra front desk in the afternoon to ask for help. The two ladies and one gentleman who received us were absolutely wonderful — warm, attentive, and very efficient. They quickly arranged access to the spa so we could take a hot shower, and the front desk kindly helped dry our coats and shoes. Thanks to their thoughtful assistance, we didn’t catch a cold after being drenched, and our trip continued smoothly. We are deeply grateful for their kindness and efficiency, and would like to extend our sincerest thanks to all three of them. Truly outstanding service that made a real difference in our journey!

Overall a relaxing stay in the laps of nature after visiting Machu Pichu. The hotel is conveniently located next to the Train station. If you are visiting Machu Pichu straight on arrival, do request the hotel to kindly collect your luggage whilst you make the trip up and return as only backpacks will be allowed on the bus to the site or on safe storage area at the entrance to Machu Pichu. Staff were courteous and took all the care to make your stay restful. Breakfast buffet spread is reasonable but the ala-carte options (included)are really good. Dinner options are also good hence we had it at the hotel on both nights. A special mention to Maiteh who are tended to us who always had a smile and was courteous and helpful in selecting the relevant dishes as well taking care of the gluten free options for my missus. A big shout to the Laundry team who returned the laundry in few hours instead of requested next day much to my surprise . They had a big smile when I was amazed on handing over the pack Tips to fellow travellers 1. Do take the option for Nature walk around the property as the in-house forest rangers are great. We thoroughly enjoyed the Twilight walk with Shan who enlightened us about the hotels’ history, Inca culture, constellations and the hotels’ onsite tea plantations. 2. Shoe cleaning is free :)

We were originally staying on top of the mountain, but that particular hotel closed. I scrambled to find an equal and the Inkaterra fit the bill. This is a great hotel. Beautiful, great rooms, amazing staff.

If you are looking for a luxurious and relaxing place to stay near Machu Picchu, this hotel is perfect for you. My husband and I stayed for two nights and enjoyed every aspect of it. If you stay there, make sure to take advantage of their tours from the activity center. You will enjoy walking around the property, which is quite expansive. The dinner was also excellent. Additionally, they pick you up from the train station and bring your luggage to your room – wow! It is just a two-minute walk from the bus stop to Machu Picchu.

Kind of like a lodge style of property on lovely grounds. At some times of year I'd wonder if bugs might be an issue, but it was nice when we went. Staff was amazing, very helpful. The picked up our luggage from the train and dropped it back off- first rate service. Breakfast and dinner were great. We enjoyed the tour of the gardens to see the orchids and learn about the birds.

The front desk staff is not very hospitable. The restaurant staff did not even notice when I ordered wine and it was ready on the counter, but only served it when I pointed it out. It's the worst even though it's not crowded. Cost-effectiveness is poor.

Amazing!! The staff, grounds and rooms make this place shine! We were greeted by a lovely member of staff (Joel) at the train station who walked us back to the hotel and explained all the facilities and timings of breakfast etc… he was fantastic. The room was lovely and spacious, and quiet too! The hotel had a lovely charm about it and we truly had a relaxing stay. The bird walk is also very worth doing! Thanks Inkaterra for a lovely relaxing stay!

Very nice hotel in Aguas Calientes. Room very big and nice in the middle of the forest. Aguas Calientes in not very nice but the hotel is very close to the Main Street but at the same time very silent! I would recommend

Inkaterra Machu Picchu Pueblo Hotel was magical. The setting is peaceful and lush, with beautiful trails and gardens throughout the property. The staff were kind, attentive, and went above and beyond to make our stay special. Our room was cozy and clean, and the restaurant food was outstanding. Perfect location—close to town and the train, yet quiet and serene. Highly recommend!

Overall positive stay. Best location in Machu Picchu. Sauna was a disappointment. Service was good and rooms are nice. Breakfast and dinner are included. Walkable to town and train.

The Inkaterra Machu Picchu Pueblo Hotel is without question the nicest hotel to stay at in aguas calientes. The grounds are stunning and the service is wonderful. Its the perfect spot for a trip to Machu Picchu. Enjoy!!!

A beautiful setting for this exquisite hotel. The staff was attentive & professional. The restaurant was incredible, extensive menu & delicious food. We enjoyed having the staff start our fire in the room. A first class hotel in every way.

Positive: the guides. Eric for Machu Picchu was excelent. And the guy in the orchid tour was also good. Negative: dinner service does not deserve 5 stars. Also, the shower changed from ice cold to boiling all the time.

Absolutely beautiful facility. Dinning was excellent and the staff were friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable with a beautiful view. Would stay here again.

Inkaterra Machu Picchu Pueblo Hotel was magical. The setting is peaceful and lush, with beautiful trails and gardens throughout the property. The staff were kind, attentive, and went above and beyond to make our stay special. Our room was cozy and clean, and the restaurant food was outstanding. Perfect location—close to town and the train, yet quiet and serene. Highly recommend!

Nice rooms with comfortable beds. Our suite had an outdoor patio with a sofa, mineral water pool and outdoor shower. Bathroom was large and had a towel warmer that was handy for drying clothes. Pros: Housekeeping did a great job with keeping our room spotless. Nature tour was amazing and took about 1 1/2 hours. Pool bartender was attentive. Great location. Breakfast was good and with a nice selection. Lunch was delicious although limited. Great lunch staff. Cons: Met the hotel staff at the train station but they didn’t offer to help carry our luggage (uphill to the hotel with stairs). Staff doesn’t communicate well. Breakfast was ordered night before for 6:15am as we had a 7am train for 7 hour hike. Didn’t arrive do we had to get coffee and a snack at the park entrance. Restaurant manager told us that we can get postage and mail postcards at the front desk but they don’t. Turndown service showed up twice out of 4 nights and when they did, they didn’t toss out the toilet paper and garbage can. Only ate dinner the first night as it was like cafeteria food (undercooked risotto and chicken breast was an overcooked ball of dry meat with skin on the outside).

Cool location, nice room with our own plunge pool but, very big but, the dinner is horrible. Really bad food, advice is just walk into town and grab a burger!!!

Kind of like a lodge style of property on lovely grounds. At some times of year I'd wonder if bugs might be an issue, but it was nice when we went. Staff was amazing, very helpful. The picked up our luggage from the train and dropped it back off- first rate service. Breakfast and dinner were great. We enjoyed the tour of the gardens to see the orchids and learn about the birds.

Distante da un cinque stelle con targa Michelin sulla porta. Personale gentile ma la risposta è sempre NO! Camere fredde e al limite della pulizia..., cibo mmodesto. Non vale la cifra richiesta

Unfortunately the worst hotel we stayed at in Peru. How it claims to have a 5 star rating is beyond me - it may have been one day, but it's now a 3 star masquerading as a 5. Pros - beautiful grounds - included breakfast and dinner Cons - very tatty all round, furniture is worn, stained and everything has a general run down feel - the 'pond' was filthy and thermal spring pools had a film - no blackout blinds in the rooms, just very flimsy privacy type curtains - bathroom dark with no lights and extractor fans with noisy bearings - the most surprising of all, very bad service in the restaurant and front desk. This is weird as everywhere in Peru is extremely welcoming, but check in and restaurant staff were extremely brusque. - 10am checkout! (Offered a late checkout when we were at reception with bags, a weird time to offer it!) - staff uniforms were tatty and stained, I wouldn't normally care, but do if it's claiming to be 5 star! - the "superior" room we booked was nothing like the pictures. Overall, very poor

The hotel feels like eb extention to Macchu Pichu. A real oasi surrounded by mountains and forrest. The rooms are beautiful and well equiped. The hotels has an ecological comsept fokus on the enviroment. The food is really good and autentic and the use local product. The have lots of staffs which allows to take god care of the costumers. The staff is very kind and helpfull. We stayed 2 nights from the 19th to 20th june. We really enjoy our stay.
