Super 8 by Wyndham Lynnwood

This was the fourth hotel of 6 we stayed at on our 10 day road trip. The check in was complicated. I had to deal with a virtual screen guy named Carl, I think. I had to listen to his instructions, figure out how to scan my own credit card- once for the bogus $3.99 "amenity fee", and then a second time for the $100 dollar deposit. After driving for 12 hours it was a pain in the but. The human behind the desk, who was helping some other people. looked annoyed that I was having issues with "Carl". When we drove up, there were several transients around. The area is probably safe, but my wife was a little worried. The room was big and clean, the bathroom was clean with average towels and amenities. The water pressure was good. The TV selection was the worst of the all the hotels we stayed at. It is the most basic package with very limited programming and no movies. The parking situation is a claustrophobic nightmare! The cars are parked in a tiny courtyard with every nook and cranny filled. We were told to park going out the back gate, around the corner, through another gate to a separate parking area by the garbage. I had to get out of my car to punch the gate code twice. If you have a large vehicle, avoid this place. The staff was indifferent. We didn't stay for breakfast because it looked minimal. Overall, this was an ok hotel and I would recommend it if you don't mind the check in hassles and parking fiasco.

Good stay on north end of Seattle. Nice room and bath, liked the large photos on the wall of area attractions. One part of the building was interior access and the other exterior. Nice grounds and area of town. Just a quick night stay for the family taking the ferry over to Olympic National Park.

Limited parking. Poor cleaning. Expedia says "Hotel in Lynnwood with free breakfast", but there is no actual breakfast: just coffee and some yogurts in the lobby.

Super 8 in Lynwood is a good option! It has a large parking area, nearby Walgreens and restaurants, laundry facilities, and good service. They even offer breakfast. It’s clean, and while it’s not a 5-star hotel, it’s perfect for a short stay.

The suite wasnt the cleanest.. hair in the bed, and shower. Sketchy people hanging around the front of the hotel. If you come back to the hotel later than 9pm good luck getting a parking spot. But i guess thats to be expected for a cheap place to book. At least it didnt have bed bugs

Front desk people were terrific. No frills place was what we wanted. No swimming pool or fitness center. Had free simple adequate breakfast. Third floor was very quiet with room opposite side of parking lot and street. Parking was convenient but available spaces can be hard to find if come back extremely late. Lots of eating places not too far drive. Same for shopping mall and Costco. One morning had a really obnoxious Asian woman making a big scene at the breakfast/ front desk area directed at me and my brother without any provocation. We just ignored her but she just kept ranting as we left the area and she directed her screaming at the front desk people. By the way, I am Asian too so I am not being bias.

Very simple, minimal breakfast, there was an elevator and rooms were clean

The worst washroom of all times, the bathtub had full visible stains , told the front desk about it ,got an answered that’s the only available room they have so nothing can be done

Our room was dirty. Washroom had hairs and sink does not drain well

Bathtubs and sink not cleaned and in a bad state. Pipes undersink were taped up. Will never go again. I requested cancellation immediately and have to move a different hotel at night time with wife and kids. Very bad experience.

Bathroom was not cleaned properly…bits in the toilet…gross…and hair everywhere…probably won’t stay here again.

Service was fine and bedding and towels were clean, however the general cleanliness of the room wasn’t great. Dust everywhere, baseboards dirty, toilet had pee stains under the lid. Toilet barely flushed and clogged when used. One night I got woken up out of my sleep by the guest below our room screaming racist and derogatory terms which made me scared for my safety. Also signs stating no dogs, however one of the workers had a dog with her and could hear other dogs in the hotel. Not a terrible hotel but more detail to cleanliness would go a long way.

Check in was easy. Staff is friendly. The room was clean and as advertised. Breakfast on the go was perfect for our busy day.

I read reviews but apparently not enough of them. The hallways and elevator were filthy and smelly. The room was clean but the bathroom is so aged. Considered going elsewhere but stayed.

We had a terrible night sleeping with mice. Dirty shower and washroom. Will never go again, I would rather sleep in my car than this hotel

We stayed here at the end of a road trip. The rooms were clean and look to have been renovated compared to the rest of the hotel. Unfortunately, there were some very loud people late at night that we could hear, along with other noises. Overall, it was nothing overly spectacular, but it was a decent room for a quick stay.

Wi fi did not work for all 3 people in party. TV did not work. Very expensive for a low end motel. It was clean . Breakfast is a joke. Don't bother.

It was a good place to stay for the price. The tap in the washroom sink always turned on with too much pressure so it splashed but then it could be adjusted. The shower had the right amount of pressure, the bed was good, and the room heater worked very well. The caulking around the tub and shower needs attention but everything else in the room seemed clean and in good condition.

A great value, and really convenient on Highway 99 to the car dealership where I picked up my car. A clean room, microwave, refrigerator with small freezer. A good clean bathroom, shower, and a very comfortable bed. The light rail stops in "downtown Lynnwood," just under 2 miles away. The prior stop might have been closer. I should have planned better. I think city bus from Seattle probably goes right to the hotel, but light rail is faster. This is not a resort, but I slept well here.

The walls are thin and you can hear every noise. We were awakened multiple times throughout the night and loud music in the early morning. I won’t stay there again.

Had a pleasant stay. The shower room is just very tight. But over all stay is very good.

The room was older and needed updated but was ok. The bed was the most uncomfortable bed ive slept in in any hotel ive stayed at. It most definitely needs new mattresses.

This booking shows a 2 Queen room. The beds are NOT queens at all but full-size with 5’10x6’6 measurements. Makes for uncomfortable sleep with teens and adults

This is exactly as a Super 8 should be. The difference with this location and others is the staff. Lina makes the place feel like home, and she is just fun to talk to. Thank you for a wonderful week spent together!

Front desk lady is very rude and not helpful at all.

When i arrived host greeted with a smile and conversation. Was very helpful and got me right into my room with it delay. Was a very friendly homey environment.

This was my first experience staying at a motel, and I arrived around 1 a.m. Unfortunately, there was no one at the reception, and the lobby door was closed. I waited for over six minutes before someone came to assist me with my check-in. Overall, the rooms are quite basic but comfortable.

The woman at the front desk was rude when trying to check in.

It was a bit run down and the area around it appeared run down. Some loud noises came from some room, sounded like a woman screaming. But then, settled down and I heard nothing else. Odd characters seemed to walk around the place. But I really had no problems. I've been in a lot of these budget motels and this one was ok. I slept well. There was a Walgreens next door where I bought all my stuff. No problems. I'd use it again.

There wasn't anything unique about the property. It was in a very convenient location.

A cut above other motels I've checked out on the 99/Aurora strip. Clean, quiet, helpful staff, lots of places to eat and stores to buy supplies. It's far enough from the street where traffic sounds don't intrude. We're getting some house work done, and I've stayed here several times when I needed a quiet place to work.

This was a perfectly nice stay in an average commercial area. Some reviews said area was sketchy but we felt perfectly safe. I would like to mention Matthew at the front desk was awesome, and even showed us the room before we checked in to make sure it was to our standards. Great value for the price would definitely be okay with staying here again.

It’s a basic economy motel. Clean and quiet. Light breakfast great coffee!

This place was good for a place to sleep. Breakfast included meant bananas yogurt and packets of yogurt, so that was disappointing.

Great staff and a solid breakfast.

The room smelled and the bathroom faucet was tight. There was no place to eat breakfast, so we took a simple breakfast and ate it in our room.

Rooms are good as compared to price $150 you pay. Breakfast sucks. There is no separate breakfast room. They just put few yogurt, banana and denish at the checkin desk (yes same table where u do your checkin). They also have coffee and no tea.

Needs updating. Breakfast was very limited.

It was good and clean and quiet. Would prefer more breakfast options than the grab and go.
