Jess Hotel & Spa Warsaw Old Town

Der var ikke gjort ordenligt rent efter håndværker. Håndværkerne startede kl. 7 med at larme med maskiner og der var også et vejarbejde på vejen udenfor som man så ikke kunne komme helt op til hotelet. Morgenmads buffen blev ikke fyldt op den sidste time så der kunne godt blive lidt tomt. I Spa området var Dampsaunaen kun tænt den ene dag og den almindelige saune overhovdet ingen af dagene, så der var kun et boblebad. Elevatoren virkede ikke så bagasien skulle bæres op. Beligenheden og værelset var perfekt.

I have never had such a bad experience with such hotel who is rated 4 stars in hotels.com . Rooms are dated and small but worst of all the lift didnt work and we were located in the 4th floor. The hotel didnt care about it and didnt offer any commission. They also didnt worn us in advance about the problem and didnt give us the chance to change hotel despite knowing about the faulty lift before our arrival(there is only one lift in the hotel).

Très bel emplacement à deux pas de la vieille ville. Chambre spacieuse petit déjeuner varié et de qualité.le spa était malheureusement fermé

One night stay very close to old town. Had an excellent massage in the spa. Was unable to book a jacuzzi time as it was fully booked. Breakfast was excellent. Lovely staff. Would stay here again. I did experience the sewer odour other people mention in their reviews. Unfortunately this is a common problem with Polish plumbing which remedies with a wet towel over the shower drain. My only suggestion - the mattress could use updating. Otherwise I enjoyed my stay!

Perfekt lokasjon. Rett ved gamlebyen. Familie rommet hadde ekstra rom med dør. God frokost. Litt slitt. Badet ble oversvømt når vi dusjet. Krana på vasken var koblet feil, varmt vann på kaldtvann. Dårlig kjøling i kjøleskap. Spa var ikke bra, med lav temperatur i sauna. Lavt trykk i jaccuzzien

Not really an hotel, more an aparthotel. That said the huge bed was very comfortable, the room was a great size, but only one lift to rooms.

First, the good: clean room, perfect location in Old Town, nice staff, legendary breakfast. The bad: small room, broken-down elevator (hope you don't mind stairs!), and jacuzzi often closed for service. Would stay here again, though, especially for the location and the breakfast!

One desk staff did not smile or engage us - had one word answers. Spa closed so early, 9 pm, on a weekend. Hall door near room 112 bangs when auto-closing and could be heard in our room. Good beakfast.

Great location but experienced many issues with the hotel. There was construction going on in the building (which we were not made aware of before our stay) and was going on all day between 7am to 7pm. Also, the street are very load ant night and you can hear all the noises through the walls. Lastly, our room had a very bad sewage smell.

Hotellets beliggenhet er veldig bra. Hyggelige ansatte og greie rom. Det luktet svak kloakk av mitt bad, dette kunne antakelig vært unngått ved bedre rengjøring av slukene.

Mycket trevlig ich hjölpsam personal. Rent och snyggt. Och bra läge nära gamla staden. En del tekniska brister i rummer dock. Vattenkranens vamt ocj kallt var velvända så man riskerade att bränna sig. Duschen gick inte ätt ändra mellan hand och tak utan båda flödade. En av radiatorerna i rummer gick inte att få varm

Highly recommend this hotel! Clean room and pleasant staff. The best location between Old City and center of Warsaw.

Great location, friendly staff but the room especially the bathroom had a really bad odor which I think it was coming from the Asian restaurant next to the hotel. I was there only one night. I know I wouldn’t be able to stay there any longer than that because of the bad smell.

Positivt: Mycket bra läge med trevlig och hjälpsam personal. För priset en bra men något stökig frukost. Negativt: Lite dålig ventilation, brist på varmvatten när många duschar samtidigt och stundtals en otrevlig avloppslukt i rummet. Lyhört både från korridor, andra rum och utifrån.

Great location. Lovely spacious room with good amenities. Servicing of the room wasn’t the best. We arrived and the previous guests used towels still in our bathroom. In the apartments bin lorry emptiness at 6am very loud and so was late night revellers returning to other apartments in the stair.

But the wifi didn't work, the person at check-in couldn’t find my reservation and then got funny with me when I pointed out I hadn't paid for breakfast (which considering 5 minutes earlier he couldn't find my name at all and took 20 minutes to check in 3 people... not looking great). There was also no hot water on two of the four mornings and one of the evenings.

Hotel itself is small and a little dated in areas, rooms were quite small to move around due to size but clean and comfortable.

We stayed here for 3 nights and specifically booked a room with air conditioning. When we arrive we find that one of the ac units does not work in the bedroom and that it was way hotter than outside the bedroom. We called staff multiple times and 3 times different people came all saying the technician would come and fix it, but by our last day no one came and we could not switch rooms because it was full. Their response? A 20% off the restaurant or spa treatment. In general the location was amazing, the rooms were fine, but the doors had no sound dampening abilities at all so everytime someone was talking or going up/down the elevator or stairs you could hear it like they were right next to you. Would only consider staying there again because of location nothing else.

Good location in old town. Just hope you don’t get a room at the front of the hotel because it gets loud at night. But the area is nice and transport is easy to use to get around.

The location of this hotel is excellent. However, with the consideration of upscale and comfort, the hotel is overrated. I booked Deluxe double occupancy room and was surprised how small and basic my room actually was. I was by myself but wondered how two people could comfortably stay there. Moreover, my room was right above the unloading dock for the hotel’s restaurant and from about five in the morning I couldn’t sleep because of noise. I asked to move me to a different room and stuff, which were very accommodating and spoke good English, tried their best to help. Unfortunately, when I moved to another, much bigger room, I encountered the same problem some reviewers mentioned - sewage smell. I didn’t use their spa, maybe it could compensate for other shortcomings, but if you look for more upscale accommodations besides location, this hotel may be not a good fit.

We returned to this hotel a second time aftet we had a good experience. But no this time. We reserved and paid for a premium room. But the room we received was as tiny as could be. There barely room to open the door or the bathroom. That was very disappointing.

Location can’t be better. This was more of an apartment than a hotel room, which was perfect for us as a family of 4. Having two rooms and a small kitchen with washer was perfect. The breakfast was fine. Eggs, yogurt, cereal, fruit, Asian noodles, meat, cold cuts and cheese. Staff is super friendly and dealt with situation, like fire alarm going off right away!

Staff are fantastic

This hotel is on a brilliant occasion and the staff were excellent. Room is very clean and facilities are perfect for my stay. Very easy to get to the old town from here and I would absolutely come back.

The staff at the reception is horrible, not smiling, did not make an effort to speak English (4 stars !) Did not ask if everything was ok

Hotel was charming, clean and quaint. Hotel stuff was welcoming and friendly. Location was ideal for getting there by a bus from the airport and then to the central train station. Everything wonderfully within walking distance -old town, restaurants etc.

DO NOT STAY HERE. I had planned to use the Spa but after seeing how stained all the floors were I opted out. Unfortunately, it didn't get better from there. I was there for a few nights. By the second night the power in my room went out. They asked what I had been doing before it went out (reading in bed) nothing plugged in aside from the hotel. They reset it. The next day I came back to my room after being out all day and the power was out again. They sent someone up who said the same thing had happened across the hall in the last couple of days - they reset the breaker. An hour later, it goes out again. I have an early flight the next morning so I'm trying to charge my phone and get sleep. I go down stairs in my PJs and ask them to fix it. This time another room was also affected. This happens 5 times over the next hour or so. No apologies, just "well what were you doing?" (again reading). Eventually they said they had no additional rooms but I could stay at an apartment down the street. So I had to get dressed, pack up all my stuff, move down the street, unpack it and get ready for bed again which was extremely frustrating with an early flight. The fact that this had been a known issue for days before arrived, and continued to happen and all they bothered to do was reset the breaker, is lazy, potentially a fire hazard depending on what the wiring situation was, and they never bothered to address the root cause. No apologies for the inconvenience - they just wanted money.

Bra läge.

Great downtown location with restaurants and city walks in all directions. Parking is a real challenge, but as long as you are not driving this hotel is fantastic.

Localização perfeita, muitos pontos turísticos pra visitar a pé, restaurantes, lanchonetes, sorveterias, lojas tudo perto. Ótimo café da manhã. Recepção atenciosa. Na frente do hotel passa ônibus e a linha 175 vai pro aeroporto e deixa vc na frente do embarque. Não precisa pagar táxi/uber.

Wirklich ein gutes Hotel für einen Städtetrip. Lage zur Altstadt perfekt und morgens eine tolle Auswahl zum Frühstück.

The breakfast was good. Very good location.

The rooms are ok, the elevator works but almost caught us with the door several times, no free breakfast and the breakfast they offer in the restaurant is not good, I recommend going somewhere else, for the price… you can eat better in another place. The people from the reception barely greet you.

Centralt och välskött hotell, rent och snyggt. Skönaste sängarna hittills av våra Polen resor. Trevlig och hjälpsam personal, duktiga på engelska. Enda minus som vi tyckte, var frukosten som Nem Asian fusion stod för: Äggröra bara varannan dag, annars stekt ägg. Stekt ris (gott men inte till frukost). Endast stekta korvar, en sort dagligen. Inga kylbrickor till mejeriprodukter. För övrigt var restaurangen super bra, kanongod mat!

El desayuno muy bien! Camas cómodas. Muy bien ubicado para transporte público o caminar a la ciudad vieja. La cena del restaurante asiático muy buena.

Hotellet har perfekt läge om man vill vara i Gamla stan men allt annat är inget att se framemot. Frukosten okej, dock alltid långa köer och endast en kaffemaskin som tar sin tid för att brygga en kopp så maten hinner bli kall innan man fått sitt kaffe eller att en sällskap redan ätit upp sin frukost. Rummen är små och toalettstolen är för små barn, inte får någon som är längre än 150 cm om du inte vill sitta med knäna i ansiktet nästan. Personalen hälsar inte och kan endast engelska och är mer intresserade av att prata med varandra än med sia gäster. Detta hotell är som en svag 2 stjärnig hemma.

The hotel was in a great location right in Old Town Warsaw. Apartment Room was large for a family of 4 and even had a small kitchen area if needed. The restaurant was excellent and had a super breakfast. Great variety. We also ate dinner there and the Asian fusion is excellent!
