The Wine Vine Hotel

Advertised as a hotel … NOT a hotel! This was probably once a nice motel with a restaurant attached but it is now a basic motel -,at best. The restaurant is permanently closed according to staff. Property run down and grubby. The bed was comfortable which was the only good thing about it. Shower door is old wood door that does not close properly due to swelling. Fridge/kitchen is actually part of bathroom/hand basin area. Pool looked clean, but was small and cold. Gardens and landscaping are neglected. Clearly a run down and poorly maintained property.

The first room was mouldy in the bathroom, got changed to room 20 absolutely disgusting, carpets were littered with Twisties, numerous pieces of fruit. Cobwebs everywhere even a dead spider on the wall. Stained linen, mosquitoes that kept us awake all night let alone being bitten. Im so upset it was a getaway for myself and my daughter after a traumatic year and this is what we got. Management couldnt have cared less. I have photo evidence that i will be taking to AHA, and DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH. Totally unacceptable for a hotel

Clean room and beautiful perfume in the air upon arrival. Easy to find. Friendly staff.
