The hotel is new and very nice. The roof top bar was closed for the season, however it was beautiful , in the 80’s and in the middle of September. It would have been beautiful. The drinks were kind of expensive and a very short pour. The beds were very hard, but the house keeping staff was visible when needed and got me a better pillow. Hotel was very clean and spa pool was beautiful.

The hotel itself is very upscale, clean, quiet, and the room and bathroom were super comfortable. It is not within walking distance of the main area, but that's okay! it has underground parking and also an uber pickup right in front. It's within minutes via uber to the market and harbor.

A pretty faultless hotel. Pool, gym & sauna is great, hot tub is a little small and pool was full on rainy days. Room was great but the bathroom isn’t very private. Me and my wife found the bed very uncomfortable. Tv channels are poor and we couldn’t cast to the tv from the iPad ( for those rainy days). Restaurant and bar is expensive, we had the food once and it was pretty good but saves travelling as nothing nearby. 15min walk into town or an easy 5 euro uber each way. No good dinners outside of town so expect a 15min walk for the nearest good dinner. ‘UP Cafe’ had some good breakfast options 5-10min walk away. Large supermarket is a 5min walk north and the mall of split was very good, although no Ubers would take us back for 30mins and taxis want more than double. Rooms are floors 17-28 so I’d imagine every room has a view better than the second tallest hotel in split. All in all, if you don’t mind a walk or taxi to town this is the perfect hotel and likely one of the best in split, if not THE best. No noise and little traffic given how busy the road looks and a safe area. Staff were brilliant and it is spotless. You can stay closer to town but will not find the luxury of ACM. *Photos are top floor room view and sauna view. Recommendations - Kenoba Fetivi (fish dinner) & kats Kitchen (Fancy b’fast/brunch)

As a couple with no kids, we wanted somewhere comfortable to stay, with great gym and facilities that wasn't too loud and still easy to get around. This hotel ticked all those boxes. The staff were lovely and helpful. Breakfast was worth booking as the immediate surrounding area wasn't as busy as the main tourist district. The gym is fantastic and the pictures actually do it justice. The walls aren't the thickest so you might get unlucky with a neighbour. It's also worth pointing out it's much more of a business hotel, so our holiday hours were different to a lot of others so pool etc was nice and quiet in the mornings and evenings.

Hôtel neuf et moderne avec tous les services nécessaires et de qualité ( spa ou salle de sport). Très belle chambre spacieuse mais attention à la réservation, vue sur mer ne veut pas forcément dit face à la mer mais vue montagne avec un bras de mer, ce qui est un peu décevant. Un peu loin du centre historique dans un quartier sans charme mais avec l’avantage du calme très appréciable. Parking inclus avec la chambre très pratique.

We stayed one night at the AC Marriott Hotel in Split and overall had a fantastic experience. The hotel itself is beautiful, modern, and elegant. The highlight for us was definitely the breathtaking view from our room on the 21st floor – absolutely stunning! The service was also excellent. We arrived very early, around 7 a.m., and were able to leave our luggage at the hotel. Even better, instead of the usual 3 p.m. check-in, they kindly allowed us to access our room already at 1 p.m. – such a thoughtful gesture that made our day much easier. The only downside was the spa area. For such a large hotel, it felt quite small, with only around 10–12 loungers available. Unfortunately, despite the rule against reserving loungers, many were “occupied” by towels for over two hours while remaining empty. On top of that, quite a few guests were loudly talking on the phone or FaceTiming, which made it difficult to relax. It felt more like a busy public pool than a spa, and my partner and I ended up leaving after a short time because we couldn’t find a free lounger and it wasn’t a peaceful atmosphere. Aside from that, everything else about the hotel was excellent. The views, the design, and the service all make it a wonderful place to stay, and we would still recommend it – especially if the spa isn’t your main priority.

The property is stunning and absolutely lovely. Except for one issue in that the bathroom stinks of the sewage system, this may not be the hotel’s fault and maybe related to the city. Also it’s 15-20 min walk to old town. Otherwise the hotel and views are fabulous.

Hotel was clean. Our room was very nice, plenty of room and great view. Really appreciated the overall decor of room and hotel . Easy to park in the hotels parking garage. The hotel is close to old town in Split. Enjoyed our stay here, would recommend this hotel to friends, family and anyone reading this review!

Wonderful hotel. The facilities and particularly the gym was very clean with a wide range of equipment and beautiful view of the Adriatic. Breakfast was delicious and the staff were so friendly and in my opinion demonstrated excellent customer services.

Rooms way too hot. Ac is locked at 20c. Doesn’t cool off. Mattress is a rock. 20 minute walk to old town. Uber to and from every day. Would not stay here again.

The room was very clean and modern. The tub is a bit high for older people. I would perhaps offer a tub/shower combo or a shower only option for your 55+ customers. And the shower with the half window is only conducive when using the rain head. If we use the handle, the water ends up on the floor. Can cause water damage after a while.

They seem to have issues with the internet, and the view of the water is over an industrial port. It is walkable to the Old Town, would be better 2 blocks closer. But lots of busses going by. The Aircon system is great

Staff were amazing and the little touches made our stay fantastic. It was my husbands birthdays and the staff left some goodies in the room with a card which he loved. Then the following day ( because we checked in late the previous day) we had a call to say they had made him a cake and if they could bring it to our room.

This property is excellent and I highly recommend it when staying in Split. What made this property exceptional was the over the top customer service that I received, especially from Blazenka. Any requests I had, from fulfilling my room request of finding the Adriatic Sea view that I desired to scheduling me the most incredible private driver, Ante, for a day to Dubrovnik, Blazenka took care of this. She sincerely cared about ensuring that my stay at the AC Marriott Split was to my full satisfaction. Thank you Blazenka…you’re the best and I appreciate you for such personalized care! And further, Ante, thank you for an incredible day to Dubrovnik. It should be noted that I began my private tour with Ante and 9am and it concluded at about 11pm. Ante was committed to showing me sights along the way to Dubrovnik that I requested and those that he recommended that I see. I highly recommend that any private tours such as Dubrovnik, you ask for Ante as it will be well worth with it. We stayed one night at the AC Marriott Hotel in Split and overall had a fantastic experience. The hotel itself is beautiful, modern, and elegant. The highlight for us was definitely the breathtaking view from our room on the 21st floor – absolutely stunning! The service was also excellent. We arrived very early, around 7 a.m., and were able to leave our luggage at the hotel. Even better, instead of the usual 3 p.m. check-in, they kindly allowed us to access our room already at 1 p.m. – such a thoughtful gesture that made our day much easier. The only downside was the spa area. For such a large hotel, it felt quite small, with only around 10–12 loungers available. Unfortunately, despite the rule against reserving loungers, many were “occupied” by towels for over two hours while remaining empty. Loved our stay. The hotel is very modern, clean and offers a lot of things. The views are amazing and I would always come back. The only thing is that the hotel is kinda fsr from the old town. It’s 30min by walking and 10min with the taxi.

Clean rooms with robes, slippers, plenty of towels etc. Everything well thought out. Wish the sheets were a bit softer. Bed a little firm. The area is a little junky and busy but it’s a quick 15 20 minute walk to charming old town. Good value. Special shout out to Ivan who was very helpful at the front desk.

Hôtel neuf et moderne avec tous les services nécessaires et de qualité ( spa ou salle de sport). Très belle chambre spacieuse mais attention à la réservation, vue sur mer ne veut pas forcément dit face à la mer mais vue montagne avec un bras de mer, ce qui est un peu décevant. Un peu loin du centre historique dans un quartier sans charme mais avec l’avantage du calme très appréciable. Parking inclus avec la chambre très pratique.

This is the tallest building in Croatia! Views are unbeatable. Breakfast is not included and that is a shame for a buffet style breakfast that costs 35 euros. Neighborhood is not great, you’ll need a taxi generally to get into the old town, beaches and all attractions. Hotel is clean and staff was fantastic.

The hotel is new and very nice. The roof top bar was closed for the season, however it was beautiful , in the 80’s and in the middle of September. It would have been beautiful. The drinks were kind of expensive and a very short pour. The beds were very hard, but the house keeping staff was visible when needed and got me a better pillow. Hotel was very clean and spa pool was beautiful.

My first stay at a Marriott, I believe… The hotel is new and looks great. Room was light, luxurious and did, as promised, give a seaview, although is was from (very) afar. The location isn’t bad, but it’s not great either. Light sleepers; be warned! Traffic noise is an issue. Maybe better to have a room on the other side of the buidling or (really) high up. There’s quite a few things that don’t match with the higher than average prices of the hotel though. Once my room hadn’t been cleaned (no big deal but I’d expect more from a hotel that charges 200-300 a night). My badge had to be changed 3 times during my stay. Once again no worries; the staff appologized and fixed the issue every time. The breakfast is where the hotel really falls short. A coffee machine where guests stay in line to get their own coffee? Pastries were stale. Juices were lukewarm. Buffet got refilled way to slow. Eggs were ‘sold out’ two days in a row. Booking.coms definition of a ‘great breakfast’ isn’t what it used to be.

AC Marriott in Split is a quite new hotel some 1,7 km from the Stari Grad, all the restaurants and sights. It is situated in a not so charming neighborhood and the walk from the old town is long. The hotel itself is nice, adequate for a short stay. The gym is really nice, but staff there is over-zealous and correcting. This is also the case in the breakfast restaurant. When queing for an omelette you do not care staff to point out that there is more scrambled eggs. One coffee machine, frequently needing service does not cut it. Also, please make sure that the hot dishes are warm. And clear the tables, so guests do not have to help themselves.

Amazing hotel with brilliant facilities. The pool and gym were amazing. The food in the hotel was reasonably priced and beautiful. The hotel staff were really helpful and really friendly. The room was really clean and comfortable. Hotel is right next to a mall with supermarkets and eateries in walking distance. Old town is about 15 minutes walk from the hotel but a nice walk. Recommend getting a taxi to and from the airport as you pass the hotel and have to walk about 25 minutes back on yourself when getting the airport shuttle bus. Bus is 8 euros each taxi is around 25 euros.

The AC Marriott did its job. Was clean, updated and nice. Breakfast was ample and fresh but this hotel didn’t really do it for me. Was very sterile feeling and in an undesirable area next to a main road with no atmosphere. Just a sterile business place to stay overnight. Not a vacation type hotel. Not walkable at all and the outside of the hotel is just concrete. It’s a nice room but if you are coming for an experience type hotel - this isn’t that.

The property is conveniently close to the beaches and waterfront, a few coffee shops, a bank, and grocery store, and pharmacy. You can rent beach towels from the spa to take off property. The room was very clean with a doorless shower and handheld wand plus rain shower. No bidet. Also no drawers to store clothes just cubbies in the closet. AC worked well! Rooftop bar on 30th floor is a great space for drinks but no DJ and ambiance is lacking. Concierge helped us book a boat tour excursion which was excellent. Gym is well equipped and the indoor pool has lovely views. Overall it is a good value at a decent cost. My two criticisms are (1) that for such a large hotel there are only 3 modest elevators and (2) it is a 15-20 walk or taxi to the beach. Otherwise I would stay here again.
