The real selling point of this hotel is the beachfront location and pool, a unique combination in Mazunte. All the rooms are pool/beach facing and have a nice balcony/patio seating area with lounge chairs and a hammock. The staff is friendly and attentive and make for a relaxing environment around the property. Although kept very clean, our room was showing signs of wear and we had some technical inconveniences during our stay. Overall this place is great but overpriced in my view. Unfortunately, Mazunte has been discovered and prices are going up rapidly with demand.

Fantastic hotel! Clean, large rooms, comfortable, good shower a/c etc. What really stood out however was the AMAZING location, right on the beach. Every room has a sea view! The bar has food and drinks and as well as the pool they have sunbeds on the beach! I am picky and have absolutely no negatives and all positive things to say! :)

Just go Rene is a fn sweetheart the resort is intimately simple and its perfect; not too much "boug"and not shabby, smartly done,well constructed and understated unlike some of the other hippie hotels in Mazunte that go overboard with shtick. this place is a legit vibe with an excellent lap/hang out pool just being 3 steps from the beach. Hang a left to the end of the beach for a (protected by rocks)calm ocean swimming area that is super chill

We really loved our stay here. We don't typically spend this much for a hotel, but it was completely worth it. Mazunte itself can be really busy and noisy and this place has such a peaceful, lux vibe with a short walk to everything. The pool was super clean, you are right on the beach, the staff brings food and drink straight to you in the pool, and the staff was super helpful. I felt overall that the rooms could have been better cleaned. They made the bed but left a dirty floor mat and shower looked like it hadn't been touched. Also, if you plan on staying out late, get the code to get in. We got locked out one night, rang the door bell a bunch and eventually had to walk around through the beach and scale a small fence, which was not great for my husband who had a hurt back. Not a big deal but just FYI because Mazunte has a great night life and it's worth staying out later some nights and come back to your quiet spot on the beach.

The hotel is situated in a quiet area on the beach with a beautiful private pool and bar/restaurant next to the pool. All were in great condition and kept up nicely. The service was great. Yet, we were informed upon check/in that the air condition was not working due to the storm and the city had not fixed it. Each day we were told that the city should come and fix it. The city arrived as we were checking out. I realize this was not the fault of the city but still, not having AC in the room at night was very warm. The hotel ended up giving us complimentary breakfast after the 2nd day. I would stay here again. It is also next to the turtle sanctuary.

Really lovely hotel in an amazing spot on the beach. The pool was brilliant! We were staying on the ground floor and you don’t really get much privacy as the doors open onto the communal pool area. The internet didn’t work in our room either. The room did feel it was missing a fridge as well, there was literally an empty fridge space for a fridge, so it was missed, especially in an area where you can’t drink the tap water. However, very clean and enjoyable stay,

Daré mi opinión de forma objetiva: viajé sola y me hospedé 4 noches. En general, el lugar me encantó. Es tal como se muestra en las fotos: muy lindo, con instalaciones cuidadas y un ambiente relajado y tranquilo. Fue justo lo que esperaba. Durante toda mi estancia encontré unos bichitos en la cama, lo cual fue incómodo. Me comentaron que eran parte del ecosistema natural del lugar (espero que así sea). Me ofrecieron cambiarme de habitación asegurándome que no era un problema común, y como gesto de cortesía también me ofrecieron un desayuno (aunque no lo tomé por tema de tiempos). Al final decidí no hacer el cambio, pero sinceramente creo que podrían mejorar el control dentro de las habitaciones, sobre todo por temas de descanso y comodidad. Otro detalle a considerar es que el restaurante tiene un horario muy limitado, lo cual me complicó un poco la logística. Si no planeas tus comidas con anticipación, es probable que necesites pedir a domicilio o salir en coche a buscar opciones. Pero, si estás buscando un lugar estéticamente bonito y con un ambiente tranquilo, Casa Lú es una excelente opción para desconectarte y descansar.

Excelente servicio. Las instalaciones son bonitas, en excelentes condiciones y limpieza inigualable. El personal es muy amable. Tuve que hacer uso de una médica durante mi estancia y el personal inmediatamente me la proporcionó. Súper recomendable.

Every room has a great view! All of the staff were excellent and friendly. The pool was refreshing and the grounds beautiful. The bed was very comfortable. Good air conditioning. Would appreciate more comfortable seating options in the room and on the balcony. A mini frig would also be nice. Overall, I truly believe it is one of the nicest accommodations in Mazunte! I would stay here again.

schöne Zimmer, toller Balkon wenn man ein Zimmer im 1. Stock bekommt. Sehr sauber. Angenehmes, ruhiges ambiente. Würde sicher wieder hier nächtigen und das Hotel weiterempfehlen - entsprechend der vielen Bewertungen auch bei uns Dame an der Rezeption eher „verhalten“/ unfreundlich. Kein Kühlschrank im Zimmer (absolut unüblich)- sicher mit der Motivation die Getränke an der Bar kaufen zu müssen. Da sehr gehobene Preise und dann auch noch die leider schlechteste Margarita meiner vielen Mexiko Aufenthalte

We really loved our stay here. We don't typically spend this much for a hotel, but it was completely worth it. Mazunte itself can be really busy and noisy and this place has such a peaceful, lux vibe with a short walk to everything. The pool was super clean, you are right on the beach, the staff brings food and drink straight to you in the pool, and the staff was super helpful. I felt overall that the rooms could have been better cleaned. They made the bed but left a dirty floor mat and shower looked like it hadn't been touched. Also, if you plan on staying out late, get the code to get in. We got locked out one night, rang the door bell a bunch and eventually had to walk around through the beach and scale a small fence, which was not great for my husband who had a hurt back. Not a big deal but just FYI because Mazunte has a great night life and it's worth staying out later some nights and come back to your quiet spot on the beach.

Lovely location right on the beach. Excellent pool and room. Reception staff was less than friendly. Zero greetings as we passed them several times during our stay. The bar staff were awesome! Very friendly, attentive and great.

The staff were very kind, helpful and attentive. The hotel was gorgeous! Super clean, modern and well maintained. I loved the fresh squeezed juice and delicious meals at the bar/restaurant. I would definitely stay here again!

The hotel is situated in a quiet area on the beach with a beautiful private pool and bar/restaurant next to the pool. All were in great condition and kept up nicely. The service was great. Yet, we were informed upon check/in that the air condition was not working due to the storm and the city had not fixed it. Each day we were told that the city should come and fix it. The city arrived as we were checking out. I realize this was not the fault of the city but still, not having AC in the room at night was very warm. The hotel ended up giving us complimentary breakfast after the 2nd day. I would stay here again. It is also next to the turtle sanctuary.

Everything was Perfect, best Hotel on the Beach. Only thing one could improve is the reception Lady / owner (as also mentioned as only negative in many other comments). She is just not nice, dont make you feel Welcome and you have to ask for everything instead of her proactively Sharing Information (like Wireless password it that there is a big Jazz Festival which is free during the time of your stay)….

The real selling point of this hotel is the beachfront location and pool, a unique combination in Mazunte. All the rooms are pool/beach facing and have a nice balcony/patio seating area with lounge chairs and a hammock. The staff is friendly and attentive and make for a relaxing environment around the property. Although kept very clean, our room was showing signs of wear and we had some technical inconveniences during our stay. Overall this place is great but overpriced in my view. Unfortunately, Mazunte has been discovered and prices are going up rapidly with demand.

Fantastic hotel! Clean, large rooms, comfortable, good shower a/c etc. What really stood out however was the AMAZING location, right on the beach. Every room has a sea view! The bar has food and drinks and as well as the pool they have sunbeds on the beach! I am picky and have absolutely no negatives and all positive things to say! :)

Volvería a Casa Lu es un lugar increíble la comida en el hotel es muy buena y a buen precio lugar perfecto para relajarse a pie de playa con atardeceres hermosos yo y mi esposo nos enamoramos del pueblo tienes acceso a muchos restaurantes y es bonito caminarlo de noche casa Lu tiene alrededores que valen la pena conocer El único inconveniente que pude notar y que es bueno tenerlo en cuenta es que no tienen secadora de cabello ni plancha de ropa.

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Casa Lu. Despite some local infrastructure upgrades taking place, they honoured our booking and made us very welcome - Lucia was particularly helpful. The hotel is lovely - fantastic location right on the beach, and the rooms are large, clean and very well equipped. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

We had a great stay overall! Highlights included the exceptional staff, gorgeous sea views right off the beach, and the beautifully maintained grounds. A couple of small drawbacks: the pool water was consistently lukewarm and didn't offer a refreshing cool-down on hot days. The restaurant also disappointed us in terms of service and food quality for a four-star property and its high prices, though town has amazing local spots to eat instead. Despite these minor points, we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again when back in Mazunte.

A mi parecer, el mejor hotel de Mazunte, las instalaciones con todo lo necesario para disfrutar la estadía, la habitación en excelentes condiciones, el colchon, sabanas y almohadas perfectos. Muy conveniente por la ubicación frente a la playa, la playa de esa zona es agradable y el oleaje suave a regular. La alberca es preciosa, climatizada, muy limpia, con camastros y hamacas, todo frente al mar, cuenta con equipo basico para ejercitarte a un costado de la alberca. El restaurante es muy bueno, en la variedad de sus platillos así como en el trato hacía el huesped y la vista. Este hotel cuenta con estacionamiento dentro de la propiedad. Todo a la mano, es un hotel pequeño pero con todo lo necesario para disfrutar y lo mejor fue el excelente trato de todo el personal, sin duda he regresado a hospedarme en este mismo hotel
