The Delphi Resort offers many fun outdoor adventures and their guides (we had Paul and Chris) are fabulous! They make you feel so comfortable in activities that may be outside your comfort zone. The restaurant/bar also provide delicious food and a plentiful vegetarian menu (my daughter is vegetarian) which was creative and delicious! Breakfast was wonderful as well! As for our room itself, there was plenty of room for our family, with coffee/tea etc provided. We loved that there was a fan provided as it was very humid. Our only negative was the state of the bunk beds upon check-in: there was a metal stable, crumbs, hair and my daughter was covered in bites. When lifting the duvets, the underside was quite disgusting! After speaking with Management, they did provide a token refund and were very apologetic. Our room also had zero air flow so very muggy inside the room.

Lovely relaxing stay. Staff were so kind and helpful. We ate well, enjoyed the spa, adored the views, and had a wonderful time. Will definitely be coming back in the future.

This place is great! We had a dinner in the restaurant the whole experience from start to finish is great, waitress is always so friendly and kind. The food is absolutely amazing – everything we tasted melted in the mouth. Highly recommend!

Der Aufenthalt im Delphi war sehr ruhig und angenehm. Die Zimmer sind gut eingerichtet und sauber. Das Essen war sehr gut. Unsere Wellnessanwendung gefiel uns sehr gut.

We had a great stay and the entire place was so clean and comfortable We stayed in a suite that was so nice and felt like a home away from home. No fridge which was odd but it was only a weekend stay so we managed. The spa was so relaxing and the outdoor activities were so much fun. Great spread for breakfast and dinner was delicious. All the staff were so pleasant and so accommodating. Totally recommend a stay at Delphi Resort.

Lovely quiet room with balcony. Perfect for what we needed. Only small drawback was the bar closed earlier than expected so we almost missed a last drink.

The staff and breakfast quality and choice were very nice but the hotel maintenance leaves a lot to be desired: 1. Loose toilet seat 2. No possibility to control the flow of the water, if you want it hot you have it at full blast 3. Holes in the bathroom that can be easily fixed 4. Operating bed side lamps is a struggle - one had a switch near the socket so you needed to get out of bed to switch it off while the other one had none at all so you needed to remove the light bulb... 5. Lots of spiders although we did not have the terrace door open 6. We were left to choose breakfast time either at 8 or 10.30. I understand that it is tough with full occupancy so maybe guests should be informed before arrival to pick their preferred time instead to be 'greeted' with such a choice.

Hôtel situé dans un cadre magnifique au cœur du connemara . Nous avions réservé une chambre pour 4 personnes nous avons eu une chambre en duplex avec un salon avec un salon très spacieux. Le petit déjeuner est très varié et excellent.

Lovely quiet and secluded. The area around the lodge is absolutely breathtaking. Breakfast and dinner were lovely as well. We used the lodge as our base for a couple of days of hiking in Connemara and it was perfect! The only issue we had was our room was too hot and we couldn’t find a thermostat to lower the heating, opening windows was not really an option because of insects.

Splendido hotel, nel verde con le montagne intorno. Location molto bella, e curata. La stanza comoda per 4 persone ( i miei figli sono grandi) letri molto comodi e ho apprezzato lo spazio esterno fuori dalla stanza. Internet non sempre stabile, e il telefono non prende.

This place was mostly great! The spa was lovely, food was good, environment is pretty. The beds were comfortable and the features of the room all worked well. The two issues were the heat -- it was very warm even after I turned off the radiator -- and the noise. The walls are thin, and I could definitely hear the people nextdoor very easily. I sleep with white noise, so it wasn't a huge deal, but nonetheless a bit of a problem.

The location was nice. The staff could have been much friendlier. When asked for water, they delivered a carafe and no glasses. When asked for tea, we had to ask for honey, etc. NOTHING was delivered with a smile.

A lovely resort in a stunning setting. It had everything we needed, it was relaxed and peaceful and all staff were friendly and welcoming. I would definitely stay again if the opportunity arose.

This has good points and bad points i give this hotel 5 stars in the past but has went downhill massively for me Cons No soap or shower gel Staff at breakfast no customer service Avoid eye contact not bringing tea. Slow at filling out items. Was no plates for 10 mins. I ate at this hotel many times even when not staying at the hotel and many times outside. It was 29 degrees in ireland and i asked could i eat outside and given a blunt no not even said anything else so i left and got dinner out

Lovely hotel in a beautiful area. Adventure centre activities were great fun. Just felt the staff were a bit inexperienced and lacked that little extra hospitable touch that local staff can bring. Some requests around food and drink orders were confused, bar service was quite slow and the young staff all round seemed a bit hesitant and not quite attentive to the level of service one expects for the price we paid for our stay. Aside from that, it was good. Food was nice and it was quiet at night so we all slept well….

Hôtel situé dans un cadre magnifique au cœur du connemara . Nous avions réservé une chambre pour 4 personnes nous avons eu une chambre en duplex avec un salon avec un salon très spacieux. Le petit déjeuner est très varié et excellent.

Lovely quiet and secluded. The area around the lodge is absolutely breathtaking. Breakfast and dinner were lovely as well. We used the lodge as our base for a couple of days of hiking in Connemara and it was perfect! The only issue we had was our room was too hot and we couldn’t find a thermostat to lower the heating, opening windows was not really an option because of insects.

Absolutely stunning location to seek peace and quiet. Completely isolated area where you get connected with nature. Towns were roughly 30 /- minutes away by car. Hotel restaurant on premises (rsvp required) definitely recommend.

Beautiful location. Kids loved the activities on the property although they were expensive. Large, clean rooms with comfortable beds.

This was an amazing stay in a beautiful location. The service was great, the restaurant was excellent and the location is beautiful. We enjoyed the trails and kayaking in the nearby fjord.

Hotel location is perfect if you like being surrounded with lake and mountains. The resort is beautiful. Dinner in the hotel's restaurant was delicious and the breakfast had plenty of choices. We wish we could have stay longer.

The Delphi Resort offers many fun outdoor adventures and their guides (we had Paul and Chris) are fabulous! They make you feel so comfortable in activities that may be outside your comfort zone. The restaurant/bar also provide delicious food and a plentiful vegetarian menu (my daughter is vegetarian) which was creative and delicious! Breakfast was wonderful as well! As for our room itself, there was plenty of room for our family, with coffee/tea etc provided. We loved that there was a fan provided as it was very humid. Our only negative was the state of the bunk beds upon check-in: there was a metal stable, crumbs, hair and my daughter was covered in bites. When lifting the duvets, the underside was quite disgusting! After speaking with Management, they did provide a token refund and were very apologetic. Our room also had zero air flow so very muggy inside the room.

Quiet place mainly for guests seeking different sports activities. Far away from villages, in the evening one is therefore mainly restricted to stay in the hotel. The menu is unfortunately always the same (at least during our three days stay) and the food is of mediocre quality but fairly high-priced. The different items on the plate often do not fit to one another. The chef is not adequate to a four star hotel.

Couldn’t recommend enough - this place has something for everyone! The food was just unreal, a range of actives onsite or nearby, lovely comfortable rooms and stunning views. We were delighted with our weekend there. Just to note, there’s no phone reception here and the WiFi didn’t stretch as far as our rooms so it would have been nice to know that in advance or be told at check in. The only thing that let this place down was the coffee shop - it’s pretty expensive and only machine coffee, not barista and not really enticing for treats / nibbles.

Der Aufenthalt im Delphi war sehr ruhig und angenehm. Die Zimmer sind gut eingerichtet und sauber. Das Essen war sehr gut. Unsere Wellnessanwendung gefiel uns sehr gut.

I booked this stay at Delphi with the intention of taking advantage of the activities for kids and ended up being really disappointed. If you are interested in the activities, make sure you book them WELL in advance. I tried to book a few days before our arrival and everything was unavailable. We tried to book when we arrived, thinking there might be a cancellation, but all of the courses were shut down. We were able to rent bikes and ride around, which was fun and the bike rental staff was very pleasant. We tried to take advantage of the pool, but it is not available for children, or after 6 pm. The dinner staff seemed really overwhelmed and the food was OK for the high price. The location was beautiful and if you are planning an adult retreat that involved day activities and early bed, then this is a great spot.

The setting is terrific and even though we weren't planning on anything too energetic we enjoyed the walks. The main downsides were a small room with a very small bathroom and appalling service in the main restaurant for dinner. It appears that the majority of restaurant staff are on work experience (obviously early in the program)
