Motel 6-Mesquite, TX - Rodeo - Convention Ctr

Key did not work 2am in the morning and house keeping was horrible room not very clean and beds felt like sleeping on floor had to play with knob in shower to try and get hot water

It was okay but i wasnt going for the Hilton right. But i am a truck driver, semi rig, 18 wheeler. So before i booked this site i call about parking. They told us about thay did have truck parking. But to be real no they dont. I use the lot next to there parking area. Come to find out the lot wasn't even theres.so plz just be truthful about your parking.

The staff was more than accomodating when we arrived with our 3 large dogs based on policies listed on Expedia only to find a sign in the lobby stating they only allow dogs 20lbs and under. We explained why we were in the area but let them know we would find other arrangements (we understand why these rules are put in place). The lady at the front desk asked a few questions, then let us know the dogs wouldn't be an issue. Huge relief!! Our room was basic but clean, which was pretty much what we expected, so no worries there. It was also really quiet considering the location. The only complaint we could have had was that the air conditioner in the room was rather ourdated and very loud, but it served its purpose so it wasn't a big deal. The only reason we're giving a 4 star review instead of 5 is because the hotel grounds really needed some help. We felt safe while we were there (even walking the dogs later at night or early in the morning), but there was trash and dog feces everywhere (thanks, other guests for making those dang no pets policies more and more likely). We get that the motel staff more than likely tries there best to keep the area clean, but it wouldn't be fair not to list this as an area of needed improvement. The motel does service large trucks and buses and is close to the main highway going through Mesquite but again, our stay was quiet and the location was very convenient. We would definitely stay again in the future if we come back to the area!

Pool was clean!!! It was a safe stay!

The property looks very dirty and dingy. Staff was not helpful at al. Both days I was here they did not have enough towels to accommodate me and my guests. Room only had two towels I informed them that it was 4 of us. They basically told me to let the two people shower and then turn in those two towels for another two. Finally after 10 minutes of arguing with staff and front desk I was giving more towels. The next day again they wouldn’t let me get anymore towels. Room didn’t have any toilet paper I had to go to Walmart and get toilet paper for room. Room didn’t have any soap or shampoo. Overall experience was horribleds

It's a cheap hotel. No shampoo or soap in the shower, TV didn't even have a remote, beds had some stains on them that made me question, it's a rundown cheap hotel. You get what you pay for.

The Motel had no hot water so cold showers which made us sick. The a/c worked really good.

The shower heads need to be replaced, the sink was stopped up, the light didn't work at the sink area, and the room wasn't cleaned properly. I almost paid 100 bucks for one night should've been 50 or less.

If I could rate this place a 0 I would have. This place is roach infested dirty filthy place they didn't want to change my room nor give me my money back.

The room has a terrible odor like maybe pesticide or someone vaping. There is a pubic hair on the “clean” towels. People hanging out on the sidewalk outside our door late at night. Stains on curtains and in shower. Paint peeling on walls and ceiling.

I woke up to a bed bug

I stayed for two nights and during my stay i experienced so many roaches. Myself and my significant other had to kill many bugs. We left the room and when we left i sprayed the room completely with bug spray. The amount of dead bugs we came back to was horrendous. We also had our children with us

The room was just nasty the sink was stopped up the floor was sticky the room had a stench to it that was sickening there was a huge roach on the ceiling looked as though bedding wasn’t changed there was hair on the sheets overall a bad experience I got out of there as soon as possible

The first room was so nasty my granddaughter was asking me did I smell that the fridge was leaking water the covers on the bed were stained the floor was nasty and the window wouldn’t close all the way. He moved me to another room and that room was still nasty but cleaner than the other and a light started flashing in there so I just made the choice to leave and go else where.

The bed smelled bad and was so uncomfortable. Water pressure was bad and it was difficult to control water temperature

It sucked badly. I work at home on my laptop and in my room I couldn't connect at all . And I'm pretty sure that cost me job . so

This was cheap but still over priced. Paper thin walls, I could hear people talking, yelling, walking all night long. I could smell blunts from other rooms, or outside. If you have the extra $20 to stay somewhere else, I would recommend doing that.

Beds are not very comfortable, they are thin.

They did not let my driver check in on a room that was of for because they said he arrived to late. Regardless it was a room that was Paid for and he had till 11.00 to check out even if he got to Oma e at 4:00 am he could have sleep and been checked out by the check out time. Will be disputing charge with credit card

Reported a non-working shower several times and still not fixed. The manager was nice but a particular staff member was very rude and hung up on me twice

I request for my girlfriend can pickup a key and room and he can't give to her so she was waiting for me for 45 minutes..

I don’t like thrives Someone stole things out of my room while I was gone Thursday afternoon to evening

I was upset because I confirmed my room 3 days before and arrived in town late after driving 6 hours only to find out “ my reservation was lost” and hotels.com had to call twice and confirm that I paid and had a reservation but the late night attendant said no and turned me away. Thankfully hotel.com found me a room 5 miles away and I was just happy to have a place to sleep. I was very upset they/the hotel wasn’t willing to help me out and just shut me down. Didn’t even offer another room as the rate was now double. Ladies do not stay here if you want something safe. Horrible business practices here

Everything was nice. But the housekeeping was not there need better service.
