The property had no hot water. Employees acted like they didn't understand why the first night. We were told 2 days in a row that someone was coming to look at it to try and fix it. Then found out from another guest that it had been without hot water since the previous Monday. We arrived on Friday and left on Monday. I even called the day before our arrival date and nothing was mentioned. I did receive 1 night payment back but that was it.

The curtains were dirty The pool was out of service and had been for 2 weeks per the last up front The breakfast wasn't to bad but how can you have cereal but no milk The ladies upfront were ABSOLUTELY AMAZING The only reason I booked that hotel was because it was suppose to have a pool and my granddaughter needed something to do in her down time because she is high functioning and can't sit in a room all the time Well that didn't happen at all

There was no microwave in the room but the room description stated there would be. The pool was closed. There was toilet paper or tissue stuffed in the eyehole of the door. They ran out of breakfast. The couch in the room was so dirty it looked like some type of reddish brown stains all over it, with a ton of crumbs between the cushions. The mini fridge had a hole in it. The whole building inside smelled awful. Sounded like the guests above us were bowling all night.

When we arrived, we were told since we were the last room to check in, we had a room without a working electronic lock. I asked about another room, but we were told there were none (but they still had rooms open to book for the night on the Hotels website and their website). Our room door had been propped open as the only way to open the door was the master key by staff. So to leave the room, we had three options 1) one of us stay in the room to let the other in (inconvenient when bring up luggage) 2) prop the door open (so anyone could walk into our room) or 3) have the staff open the door (with the front desk staff really pushing for us to not do that and to pick one of the other options). This is a safety issue as when we went to the room, the door was open. If I had been alone, I would have left and not stayed. This is unacceptable to not have access to the room that is being paid for. The attitude from the staff was all well, it is what it is. I wouldn't stay again and was thankful we were only there for one night. I would encourage others to look elsewhere for safety reasons.

Room toilet was leaking water. Also very upset to see the pool was out of service. Rooms were clean except for mirrors they were dirty. Also a/c unit was leaking water and caused carpet to be wet in that area.

The desk clerk was nit present at desk anytime i tried to stop. Yiu had to use a phone and then wait for a bit to get service. There was mold/mildew in the tub. We found a roach in our bathroom. The pool was closed and water was dripping from the ceiling in the hallway outside the pool.

Our air conditioner didn't work, our TV didn't work, the pool was closed for apparently a long time with no information online about it. Breakfast was very minimal choices. Lady at the front desk did try to find us a better room where they air conditioner worked okay. You do get a free drink voucher to the attached restaurant which was definitely taking advantage of!

Didn't like smell, at night grill was so busy we couldn't find a parking spot. Says it has a pool and we were told the pool has been out of service for a long time with no intentions of repairing it. Third floor carpet stained and dirty. Room was nice in general. If you come back to room at night good luck finding parking.

Believe the bad reviews - We gave this hotel the benefit of the dought. POOL IS CLOSED. 0 up keep on this hotel. Went up to the room - just GROSS - cob webbs in the coner, gross stain on the couch (blood or poop), beds looked messy, had prints on the wall behind the bed, refrigerator was gross and sticky. The entire hotel smelled bad.... the room smelled moldy. We just could not stay and feel good about it.... we checked out and left waiting for a refund. - the guy who check us in was friendly.

Very convenient location, but the condition of the property is poor: dirty, stained carpets, poor condition of the bathtub, lights and TV didn't work. One of our rooms had wet carpeting, and the staff quickly assigned a new room. However, we spotted a cockroach and a spider in there. The breakfast was minimal at best. The beds were comfortable and the staff seemed to be a doing their best, but the room cost was high and the facilities really need a lot of work.

Bed room smelled like smoke, random bugs kept showing up in the room killed at least 15. Stained on walls, couch, curtains, bathroom tubs, sink and bathtub dripping water. Restaurant next door kept me up all night with the loud music, and people outside.

Lady at checkin was very pleasant. Room was clean, bathroom was clean, beds are comfortable. This was large room, temperature was perfect. Hotel is easy off highway, restaurant next to hotel. Nice stay

The keys didn’t work and would have to be let in by the person at the front desk, the air didn’t work in the room, it stunk and there was trash and stains all throughout the hallways. It used to be a good hotel. I noticed the owner there making TikTok’s instead of tending to his hotel. I used to stay here often years ago and he’s just let it go downhill. Stay somewhere else. It was a complete letdown. I got a refund and got the heck out of there after 5 minutes

We did enjoy our stay BUT our room never was cleaned the 3 nights we were there. Housekeeper did come around on Sunday afternoon BUT inly cleaned the room next door and started cleaning around 3, making so much noise even a babyy couldn't sleep. Ladybugs in the room were awful. The walls were so thin you literally could hear everything from the room beside you. The local bar is attached to the hotel which was good fiod BUT the locals just park how they want which i feell is very disrespectful. Also at check-in we we were not told the back door does not work so we unloaded our belongings to have to reload. If nothing is available we would stay here again but i like to enjoy the quite of a room when on vacation.

Room was clean, and I was pleased to find it had a sitting area with small sofa. The shower could be updated. Breakfast ready, but had to wait for coffee to be made. There is a bar in the hotel and parking lot was really full of cars when I arrived, but had no issues with noise. Overall pleased with what I received for the great price.

Very convenient location, but the condition of the property is poor: dirty, stained carpets, poor condition of the bathtub, lights and TV didn't work. One of our rooms had wet carpeting, and the staff quickly assigned a new room. However, we spotted a cockroach and a spider in there. The breakfast was minimal at best. The beds were comfortable and the staff seemed to be a doing their best, but the room cost was high and the facilities really need a lot of work.

I was a bit aggravated that, upon check-in, my credit card used to pay on Hotels.com was not on file at the hotel and they had no record of me already paying on the website. Because of this, it took up bit longer for me to get to the room and get ready to go have dinner at the on-site bar and grill. Initially, I let it go because I understand that s#!t happens. However, when I was interrupted from my much needed weekend prolonged slumber at 7:30am on a Saturday, from a front desk phone call, because I needed to verify my card information AGAIN, I was quite displeased! This set my weekend off to an agitated state. After eating a much earlier than planned breakfast, I decided to calm myself with a swim. The pool area was very tranquil and calming. Luckily there was no one else, especially loud children, present. This made for a very peaceful and relaxing swim. The area was designed very well with a drop ceiling instead of concrete, which made the acoustics much better than other hotel indoor pools that I’ve experienced. No annoying, unpleasant constant echoing as with other establishments. I would, and probably will stay here again. I just hope to not be awoken too early again…

We booked 2 rooms for the night while traveling home from vacation. The rooms were clean and comfortable, if a bit worn. The breakfast was what I'd call a Continental breakfast, as there were no waffles, or hot items. For that reason we didn't eat breakfast there. The staff was great. We wanted to make a change in one of the rooms and it wasn’t a problem at all. They were accommodating and very friendly!

No issues with the hotel itself, but rather with Expedia. I booked and paid through Expedia. When I arrived at the hotel they could see my reservation but not the payment. I showed them the receipt but they needed the confirmation from Expedia. I spent the next hour on the phone with Expedia and the front desk until we got it straightened out. May never pay in advance again when booking through Expedia after this experience.

No one at the front desk when we got there waited 10 minutes for a drunk lady to come from the bar next door and check us in. No towels or rags in the bathroom. When we called the lady said we could come get them from the desk if we needed to. Lots of sketchy characters outside the hotel and bar . A/C barely worked.

When we arrived, we were told since we were the last room to check in, we had a room without a working electronic lock. I asked about another room, but we were told there were none (but they still had rooms open to book for the night on the Hotels website and their website). Our room door had been propped open as the only way to open the door was the master key by staff. So to leave the room, we had three options 1) one of us stay in the room to let the other in (inconvenient when bring up luggage) 2) prop the door open (so anyone could walk into our room) or 3) have the staff open the door (with the front desk staff really pushing for us to not do that and to pick one of the other options). This is a safety issue as when we went to the room, the door was open. If I had been alone, I would have left and not stayed. This is unacceptable to not have access to the room that is being paid for. The attitude from the staff was all well, it is what it is. I wouldn't stay again and was thankful we were only there for one night. I would encourage others to look elsewhere for safety reasons.

When I arrived w my family, I quickly realized there’s a bar attached to the hotel which is played so loud you can hear it through the whole hotel until 2am. While I waited at the desk for the young man to come in, he asked my name and handed me a key to my room, no id or credit card check. I go out to gather my family after our long 12 hour drive and go upstairs to a filthy room, no beds have any sheets on them, the room clearly was used and not cleaned. I went back down to the desk and informed the front desk man, who then checked his computer and told me they wrote the wrong room # on my card, so I go get my family and we go to the 2nd floor, as I approached the room, I could tell it too was also occupied m, I could hear people inside. So we knocked 3x and the lady was like no this is my room. So, AGAIN, I go downstairs to the desk where I inform him how unhappy we all are, and he goes up to see that the lady and I have the same first name but not last name. After all of this he finally puts me in a different room where all we wanna do is go to bed. I was suppose to get refunded but have yet to see that credit. If I could give zero stars I would, not just terrible Blair e but safety is a true concern here and it should definitely be listed as a bar with sleepover capabilities.

Building is old (you can tell especially in the bathrooms) but redecorated remodeled nicely. There is a loud bar/brewery (separate business) on the bottom floor of half the Hotel, but music stopped at 11pm as promised.

Facility needs update. Had free continental breakfast but was out of juice, no milk for cereal, no waffle mix but waffle iron was heated up. Only had biscuits and gravy. Breakfast started at 6am and we went down at 630am. Only one bath towel in room for 4 people. When you go to ask for something at front desk, they say they are out of everything. Beds were comfortable and that was the only good thing about the place.

Upon checking in the one room of two we reserved, the room key didn’t work and the staff had to open it, but we couldn’t leave the room unless it was blocked or we couldn’t get back into the room. It meant leaving our belongings unsecured if we left them in the room. Overall very unhappy.

Our air conditioner didn't work, our TV didn't work, the pool was closed for apparently a long time with no information online about it. Breakfast was very minimal choices. Lady at the front desk did try to find us a better room where they air conditioner worked okay. You do get a free drink voucher to the attached restaurant which was definitely taking advantage of!

very nice and clean and staff was very friendly, breakfast was amazing I never been to a hotel that served such good breakfast. the poor was down and business area and some areas and bathrooms where out of order but overall very decent and I enjoyed my stay

No, would not stay again. Room was not clean. It was if it had not been used in a long time. The shower curtain did not even reach the top of the tub. Room was dusty and dirty. Curtains were nasty.. staff was nice. Breakfast bar was waffles and cereal. I thought it would be a good hotel since it was a suite with a little sofa but it was just nasty. I'm not normally too picky, i don't mind an older hotel with wear and tear.But this was just nasty.

For the low price we paid to stay here I really can’t complain but here follow the facts of noticing the decline over two years of visits. The beds were comfortable. The pillows were plentiful and very nice quality. The bathroom was clean. The refrigerator kept everything cool. The television was fine. The room carpet was presentable,but all three floors common hallways carpeting was spotted and stained badly from elevator door to end of the hallways. The second floor ice machine did not work, and when you get to the first floor you must walk the length of the building nearly to access the ice machine. The elevator has no air circulation nor air conditioning(temperature outside was 90F)so just imagine. On the third floor where our room was as you exited the door was a distinctive foul fish carcass odor that another guest downstairs asked us if we smelled also when we prepared to walk next door to the restaurant. The air conditioning cut off during the night as we slept and it has in our previous visits during the holidays when visiting relatives. The indoor pool was also shut down for repairs which we were not informed of at all when we personally call the night before our trip down from Indiana. The upkeep has definitely changed since our first visit and I wouldn’t say it’s in any form for the better. We did appreciate the offer of complimentary breakfast but we didn’t partake in it because we were worn out from lack of sleep due to air conditioning cutting off and on.
