We enjoyed how quiet our stay seemed to be. The room was comfortable and setup in a way which was great for our family of 6. The breakfast was wonderful and it was nice to have an indoor pool option to enjoy. We did wish that the bathroom door had a lock on it- as the sliding door made it easy to be interrupted by younger ones and the pool temperature was extremely cold though our kids still seemed to enjoy it. The staff was extremely welcoming and friendly.

Nice property. Kinda hard to get to during rush hour because it’s tucked away behind other hotels so the road is easy to miss to get to it. But other than that. Staff was really nice and friendly. Nice little bar in the lobby as well.

This was a nice hotel, good sized room to fit our family as we traveled from NY to Myrtle Beach. Right off the interstate, close gas option and dining options walking distance. I feel like the pool pics make it seem larger, its tiny. Good breakfast the next morning and lots of room for people to sit. They cpuldnt give us extra blanket or sheets for the pull out trundle, so we had to unpack our luggage to get some. Also the elevators werent working great but thats ok we took the stairs up 6 floors. better than being stuck in aj elevator. Overall a great hotel, would stay again. Be aware, the bathroom doors are those barn sliders so they dont close.

Great hotel location, updated modern rooms, really nice helpful and friendly staff. However the pool is a bit on the small side and it had a real strong overbearling chlorine smell.

Water pressure in the shower was none existent. Pool was very small and crowded. Given the southern location, I'd expect a hotel pool to be much bigger than that. Room cleanliness was good though the bathroom door was not practical and would not stay open.

Lots of sports teams in the hotel, and I could tell the poor front desk attendant was exhausted, but she was still very nice. The guy at checkout was really nice too. Nice gym, GREAT room. They were getting the free breakfast ready when we had to check out at 6:45 AM, and it looked REALLY good... but it did not start until 7:AM on the weekends, which was a little frustrating. It should be 6:AM. The pool was wicked small and a little cold. I would still recommend though.

I have staryed at several Slring Hill Suites while traveling. This was the worst in terms of cleanliness. There were smeared brown spots that seemed like dried up feces on the couch. Sticky splotches were on the inside barhroom sloding door, wall by the refrigerator, and above ghe dresser by the tv. The blinds looked as if someone clawed them. The shower also had stains that could not be cleaned with soap. Picture's are included. I spoke to the night time associate who said she would let the the housekeeping manager know. They were sold out, but said my room would be deep cleaned the next day. I said we'd be leaving between 9 a.m. and 10 a.m. We returned around 6 and our room had not been touched. No one followed up with us. Upon checkout, no one asked how our stay was either. I usually dont complain, but this was unacceptable as I was teaveling with a toddler. Save your money and stay elsewhere.

I was disappointed. There was hair all over the place, and the room didn't look clean. I couldn't wait to leave. We were not able to have breakfast because it was not menu-friendly.

I’ve given them a couple chances now. The first time all of my sheets were damp when I called the front desk and asked them if they could replace them they told me I could come downstairs and grab new ones versus them bringing them that’s fine i did that. The second time my water was cold in the shower and it also did not drain correctly. This last time really took the cake when I initially walked into my room, there was dried urine on the toilet (a lot of of it) that I had to clean myself like how do you miss that when cleaning a room?? This will be the last time that I stay there.

Front desk is friendly, but the room isn’t as clean. The sofa was dirty, so was the bed sheets, and lots of hair from other people all over towels. There was a spider as well. Overall it is workable to stay but for the price and being told it was ready hours before our regular check in, but still was dirty was disappointing.

The sheets were not clean, the bathroom had some kind of black dirt/mold in the grout, had a dirty cup wrapped in plastic in the coffee area and the floor needed vacuumed. Not enough staff at the front desk. There was noise on the floor above me and when I called the front I was told the would check on the noise and if it does not stop call 911!

We stopped here on the way to Hilton Head. It is right next to Cracker Barrel which we always have enjoyed. The room was big and clean and the staff very pleasant.

It was an okay experience. Customer service okay, breakfast okay. Room had some issues like poor water pressure in the shower, clogged sink, and no liners in the trash cans. Not terrible but not great either.

I completely understand the hotel being busy on Easter weekend but the walls are so thin that you won’t be sleeping. We had people above us running around and partying the entire night. Went down stairs to complain because it was well after 12am and still wild. The second night of our stay they moved us rooms but informed us the hotel was having a party (this hotel has a bar) and it would be a loud drunken night for many of the patrons. During booking the hotel there was no mentions of the hotel hosting parties or I would not of booked it. If your looking to sleep don’t stay; if your looking to party then book it.

We had a “just ok” stay at the SpringHill Suites Chester. The beds were ultra soft and not supportive. Mine had a spring that squeaked every single time I moved. The pillows were basically a few lumps of filling and a lot of air. We stayed two nights and were informed (after we found our room had not been refreshed) that housekeeping only comes every other day. So we made our own beds… I had called down to the desk to inquire about our untouched room, but got no answer. When I went down immediately to ask since I couldn’t get someone on the phone, I found the front desk agent on her phone. The hotel was clean and quiet, and the breakfast was ample. If the comfort of the bed and pillows matters to you though, or the attentiveness of the staff, I’d pass.

The hotel itself was very nice. Clean, quiet, and offers a very nice free breakfast. However, they were not at all accommodating when I needed to end my stay one day early, and hoped to get a refund just for that one day (after we had already stayed there 3 nights). They would not make any exceptions, even after I told them I had had a death in my family. Disappointed in their customer service, I guess.

Staff not accommodating no sense of urgency in assisting guests. Shower was clearly not cleaned. Dead bugs in the hallway for days- Too many issues to name

This hotel is in an excellent location. Restaurants, fast food, pharmacies, shopping all within minutes. The room is furnished nicely. Only thing to note is that the bathroom had a barn-style door that does not lock. Keep that in mind when sharing a room. We were a family with teen kids who didn't appreciate mom and dad being able to open the door. We would stay here again.

Room was clean but the breakfast was horrible. Limited food selections and the breakfast staff were rude. The trash was overflowing, the orange juice dispencer needed cleaning and they were not replenishing the food 45 minutes before the close of breakfast. I have never been so disappointed with a Springhill Suites breakfast. Also, the location was too far from Downtown Richmond (20-25 minutes). I couldnt wait to leave. It was just not a good vibe for the money. The breakfast people really turned me off and made it uncomfortable. But wait the first day I even tipped the breakfast staff only for him to be rude to me the next day. I always tip the staff but not when they are rude.

The room and common areas are immaculate. Every single staff person went out of the way to make my stay more pleasant. The breakfast selection was excellent. Very convenient to restaurants. I highly recommend this property.

The hotel was newly built so it was very clean and nice. The staff was nice too but when we arrived, it took a long wait to check in due to a swim team in front of us. There was nobody else that was helping. On Saturday morning, the breakfast was not prepared. Other than this, the stay was nice.

We enjoyed how quiet our stay seemed to be. The room was comfortable and setup in a way which was great for our family of 6. The breakfast was wonderful and it was nice to have an indoor pool option to enjoy. We did wish that the bathroom door had a lock on it- as the sliding door made it easy to be interrupted by younger ones and the pool temperature was extremely cold though our kids still seemed to enjoy it. The staff was extremely welcoming and friendly.

This hotel was in a very convenient location for us as we travelled from NJ to Myrtle Beach. We stopped here for the night to split our trip in half. The hotel was clean and modern. The staff was very nice. Breakfast was good- not a huge variety but enough. It was hot and tasted good. The hotel had a little bit of a weird smell- which I often encounter in hotels- this was probably the only negative thing about our stay.

This hotel can certainly do a better job in terms of the following: 1. There was a sliding door inside the room, separating the bathroom from the bedroom that my wife got her hands caught in and hurt her fingers. 2. There was no room service at all, and we had to continue to walk to the front desk to obtain new towels and toilet paper. 3. The hotel was very noisy. 4. The breakfast was subpar at best. Very few choices were available and the food lacked taste and was the usual industrial fare. 5. Other than accessibility, there were no overall advantages to overcome the many deficiencies as listed above.

Very friendly front desk. Have a very good breakfast setup. Everything seems new. Has a small bar with a happy hour and fun bartender. Crackerbarrel next door for meals.

Quite a few issue at the hotel... -Very noisy at 6 am, extreme pounding on floor above our room -No coffee provided in lobby - only during breakfast hours which are 6-9 am ( too limited, most are 6-10 at least with free coffee provided thru the day.) -Shower curtains don't even reach to the top of the tub, so when you take a shower it goes outside the tub all over the floor. -Toilet seat not secure to the toilet, slides all over -Covering fell off roller shades when we raised it. Worst entrance/exit to hotel, not clearly marked so you have to figure out like a maze how to get thru the lot. Overall we were not happy at all with this hotel.. I usually don't complain but there were several issues to not be addressed.

Nuestra estadía fue de 6 días y 5 noches. Habitación cómoda y espaciosa. El sillón es muy duro y despues de un rato, molesta la espalda. Desayuno estaba ok. El TV no tenia canales en español. No había caja de seguridad en la habitación. No secador de pelo tampoco. La puerta del baño no tiene seguro, es puerta corrediza. El hotel está muy bien ubicado, cerca de todo; puestos de gasolina, restaurantes. Una sugerencia: el microhondas queda muy bajo para los que padecemos de la espalda. Sería conveniente ponerlo encima del gabinete y no dentro. No tienen gavetas para guardar la ropa, solo 2 pequeñas. Las camas son muy confortables, pero las almohadas son demasiado blandas. Tuvimos que pedir almohadas más duras en el lobby y la persona muy amablemente nos las proporcionó. Se escuchaban tambien las personas caminando fuerte en el piso de arriba, lo cual impide que el descanso sea grato. Es un muy buen hotel; solo que tiene muchos detalles que deberían mejorar o cuidar para que tengamos una mejor estadía.

We picked the hotel because of the proximity to I-95 and because it has a pool so it was very disappointing when we checked in and found out that the pool was not available to be used because it was being serviced. When we went to see the pool through the glass doors we saw how small it was too so it would not have been very fun regardless. The room was clean but it was humid and the air conditioning was not very cold. The mini refrigerator was also warm so not helpful for storing any perishables which we had on our road trip unfortunately. The room had some holes in the walls that should have been repaired. Breakfast was quite nice so it was a mixed bag but the negatives will have us try a different hotel on our next trip.
